Am Seitenarm 22 des Scherenhebels 20 stützt sich ein weiterer Arbeitszylinder 27 ab, dessen Kolben 28 an einem Arm eines Schneidhebels 29 angelenkt ist. Der Schneidhebel 29 ist als zweiarmiger Hebel ausgebildet und in einem Drehpunkt 30 im Scherenhebel 20 drehbar gelagert. Der Kolben 28 des Arbeitszylinders 27 ist entsprechend dem Doppelpfeil Pg vorschiebbar, so daß der Schneidhebel 29 eine Schwenkbewegung entsprechend dem Doppelpfeil P„ um seinen Drehpunkt 30 ausführt. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Scherenhebel 20 nach Ausführung des Schnittes in eine untere Stellung geschwenkt, die in Fig. 3 in vollen Linien dargestellt ist und in welcher die Oberkante 33 des Messers 31 die Bewegungsbahn eines zurückgebogenen Bügelschenkels B nicht behindert und anderseits ein aus einem einzigen Einzeldraht Dl bestehen¬ der Materialstrang ohne zusätzliches Positionieren des Scherenhebels 20 jederzeit durchtrennt werden kann. Da die Drahtführung 5 zum Führen zweier übereinander liegender Einzeldrähte Dl, D2 in ihrer Funktion als Gegenhalter entsprechend dimensioniert sein muß und über die Biegeebene 18 hinausragt, wird der zurückgebogene Schenkel B immer noch etwas aus der Biegeebene abgelenkt. Biegemaschine zum gleichzeitigen Biegen zweier übereinanderliegender Einzeldrähte, in welcher entlang einer Arbeitslinie hintereinander eine erste Richteinrich¬ tung, eine Vorschubeinrichtung, eine zweite Richteinrich- tung und eine zurückziehbare Schneidvorrichtung, die mit einem feststehenden Messer und mit einem beweglichen Messer versehen ist, sowie eine Biegevorrichtung mit einem eine Biegeebene definierendem Biegetisch vorgesehen sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schneidvorrichtung (6) zwischen einer ortsfesten Drahtführung (5) zum gleich¬ zeitigen Führen zweier übereinanderliegender Einzeldrähte (Dl, D2) eines Materialstranges sowie zum Abstützen des Materialstranges beim Biegen und der Biegevorrichtung (7) angeordnet ist und daß die Schneidvorrichtung (6) während des gesamten Biegevorganges zumindest aus der Zuführbahn des oberen Einzeldrahtes (D2) in eine zurückge¬ zogene Stellung versetzt ist.1.
