Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for emptying ink fountains according to the preamble of
When cleaning the ink fountains of inking units of rotary printing presses, in particular web-fed rotary printing machines for offset printing, it is generally known to separate the ink fountain from the ink fountain roller for cleaning after the ink has been removed. Such a separation takes place, for. B. by swiveling the ink fountain away from the ink fountain roller, the lower part of the ink fountain being pivotable about an axis. Such a swiveling paint box is u. a. shown in DE-AS 26 29 331. The paint is removed by the operator using a spatula and is very time-consuming.
Furthermore, according to DE-OS 29 29 891, an ink fountain for a rotary printing press, consisting of an upper part and a lower part and a color knife that can be placed on the ductor, is known in such a way that an upper part designed as an ink container is removably arranged on the ink knife-bearing lower part. The disadvantage of this removable ink container is that when using different printing inks too a number of paint containers must be created in order to use them quickly when changing colors.
In the ink fountain itself, a vertical compartment plate is arranged sealingly between the light sides of the ink fountain side walls. This compartment plate can be adjusted in a sloping guide parallel to the ink fountain base and seated on it in the direction of the duct roller. For this purpose, a spring drive is provided, which presses the ink fountain plate continuously against printing ink between it and the duct roller. The aim of this is to ensure that there is always sufficient ink at the inking roller even in the case of small amounts of printing ink in the ink fountain.
The invention has for its object to provide a method and a device for emptying ink fountains for rotary printing presses, with which the ink residues from the ink fountain during color changes or cleaning work can be removed quickly and easily.
This object is achieved by the characterizing parts of
The following advantages occur in particular when using the invention. By moving out the remaining ink in the ink fountain using a squeegee Rapid emptying of the ink fountain is ensured along the floor surface over the entire ink fountain width, so that the ink fountain is ready for use again after a cleaning process. As a result of the arrangement of a doctor blade strip with a working edge on the doctor blade, gentle treatment of the ink ductor and the base surface of the ink fountain is guaranteed.
