Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es vorgesehen, daß die Ringmanschette eine Wanddurchbrechung des Ansaugrohrs im Bereich ihres Außendurchmessers und einen Zapfen im Bereich ihres Innendurchmessers dichtend umschließt, daß die Ringmanschette als Faltenbalg ausgebildet ist, daß der Faltenbalg und der Zapfen jeweils ein aneinander angepaßtes Oberflächenprofil aufweisen und daß die Oberflächenprofile bei Unterdruckbeaufschlagung dichtend miteinander in Eingriff bringbar sind. Durch das Sicherheitsventil können die Wandstärken des Ansaugrohrs vergleichsweise dünnwandig dimensioniert werden, da der Überdruck, der im Ansaugrohr anliegen kann, über das Sicherheitsventil abgebaut wird. Die Ringmanschette wird bei im Ansaugrohr anliegendem Unterdruck nicht durch die Wanddurchbrechung hindurch in Richtung des Ansaugrohrs verformt. Bei eventuell auftretendem Überdruck innerhalb des Ansaugrohrs und damit innerhalb des Zapfens wird die schlauchförmige Ringmanschette aus gummielastischem Werkstoff ebenfalls druckbeaufschlagt und hebt von der Oberfläche des Zapfen ab, so daß sich ein Druckausgleich mit der Atmosphäre ergibt. Die Ringmanschette wird dabei nur in radialer Richtung belastet. Die Befestigung der Ringmanschette auf dem Zapfen wird durch eine Reib- und/oder formschlüssige Verbindung der Ringmanschette auf dem Zapfen vorgenommen. Bei Überdruck im inneren 2 des Ansaugrohrs 4, der beispielsweise bei fehlerhaft eingestellter Verbrennungskraftmaschine durch den Verbrennungsdruck gebildet sein kann, hebt der Faltenbalg 9 kurzzeitig vom Unterdruckanschluß 8 ab, bis der Überdruck aus dem Saugrohr abgebaut und ein Druckausgleich mit der Atmosphäre hergestellt ist. Zur Verbesserung der Gebrauchseigenschaften kann der Faltenbalg 9 zumindest im Bereich der Wanddurchbrechung 3 des Ansaugrohrs 4 mit einer Armierung oder Versteifungsrippen versehen sein. Die vormontierbare Einheit 10 kann durch Reibschweißen/Rotationsschweißen oder Einschnappen am Ansaugrohr befestigt werden.In Figure 1, the bellows 9 is designed as a preassembled unit 10 with the vacuum port 8. Claims (5)

  1. An intake pipe for an internal combustion engine with a safety valve (1) which can be moved into the open position by a pressure in the interior (2) which exceeds atmospheric pressure, the safety valve (1) comprising an annular collar made of rubber-elastic material, characterized in that the annular collar surrounds in a sealing manner a wall opening (3) in the intake pipe (4) in the region of its outside diameter (5) and a spigot (6) in the region of its inside diameter (7), in that the annular collar is designed as a bellows (9), in that the bellows (9) and the spigot (6) each have a mutually matching surface profile and in that the surface profiles can be brought into sealing engagement with one another when subjected to reduced pressure.
  2. An intake pipe according to claim 1, characterized in that the spigot (6) is designed as a vacuum connection (8).
  3. An intake pipe according to claim 1, characterized in that the spigot (6) is designed as a sensor connection.
  4. An intake pipe according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the annular collar and the spigot (6) are designed as a unit (10) that can be preassembled and in that the unit (10) can be secured on the intake pipe.
  5. An intake pipe according to claim 4, characterized in that the unit (10) is provided with a snap-in device (11) for the purpose of securing it.
