Description

The invention relates to a device for setting up an optical sight on a hand or handgun, with a mounting plate that can be attached to the weapon with a mount and with a visor holder with a base plate with a pin on the underside.

The well-known optical sight or red dot sight is used for very precise sighting and aiming. It is switched on via an easily accessible slide switch and projects a luminous, selective target mark into the center of the meeting point. So far, this visor has been glued to the weapon, i.e. it is practically impossible to set it up on the weapon.

In order to optimally use the performance of this visor, you have to shoot the weapon over this visor, i.e. the sight must be aligned in such a way that the protection sits exactly where the shooter sees the target marking point. To set up the visor, it must be adjustable laterally (horizontally) and tilted axially (vertically) so as to gradually increase the accuracy from shot to shot and to fix the sight on the weapon when an optimal accuracy is achieved.

From US-A-2-135-774 a device for attaching a telescopic sight to a rifle is known. In the course of this attachment, the telescope is pivoted horizontally and vertically after engagement of a pin located on the underside of the front telescope clamping ring in the opening of a base plate. However, this pivoting only occurs during assembly. After assembly, the telescope can no longer be swiveled vertically. The base of the clamping ring is in every fixed position on the flat surface of the back Base. A horizontal pivoting of the telescope can then be carried out by actuating screws. A vertical adjustment is then excluded.

From US-A-4-799-325 it is known to mount a mechanical rear sight sight and sight on a rifle scope mounting device of a rifle. This auxiliary sight is set in a conventional manner by vertically pivoting the rear sight on a lever about a horizontal axis and by shifting the rear sight in its transverse slot, i.e. perpendicular to the center line. Such a transverse displacement of the rear sight affects the accuracy even with this visor, although the distance between rear sight and front sight is still 11.4 to 15.2 cm.

The present invention has for its object to provide a device for setting up an optical sight on a hand or handgun, with the help of which the weapon can be shot over this sight, so that the advantages of the optical sight when using the weapon are also optimally used can be.

This object is achieved according to the invention in the aforementioned setup device in that the socket is circular and in that a circular plate with a slot extending from its edge is rotatably received in the socket, the pin of the base plate engages in the slot and means for blocking the rotatability of the plate in the version and for narrowing the plate slot are provided. The visor holder with the optical visor is placed on the leveling plate so that the pin on the underside engages in the slot of the circular plate, the means for blocking the rotatability of the plate in the socket and for narrowing the plate slot are initially not effective, so that Visor can be swiveled horizontally and tilted vertically within narrow limits. After firing the gun to maximum Accuracy, the rotatability of the plate is blocked, whereby the lateral adjustability of the visor is canceled, and the plate slot is narrowed, whereby the pin engaging in the slot of the base plate is clamped and thus the tilt position of the visor is fixed. The plate slot must generally be dimensioned so that its narrowing can be achieved by the pressure forces that can be generated by tightening one or more screws.

In this embodiment of the setting-up device according to the invention, the plate holder is preferably a plate opening and the means for blocking rotation and narrowing of the slit comprises a slot running from the edge of the plate opening to the edge of the leveling plate and a screw penetrating the slot, which is supported on one side of the slot on the leveling plate and is screwed into the straightening plate on the other side of the slot. By screwing the screw into the threaded hole located on the other side of the slot in the straightening plate, the slot is narrowed and thus the diameter of the circular plate holder is reduced, so that the holder lies against the edge of the plate and thereby its rotatability is eliminated. Simultaneously or subsequently, the clamping force is also transmitted to the plate and narrows its slot, so that the pin of the visor holder is immovable in the slot and thus the tilt position of the visor is fixed. By tightening a screw, the direction of the visor can be set in the two perpendicular planes.

In a slightly modified embodiment of the device, the plate holder is trough-shaped in the straightening plate and the means for blocking rotation and narrowing of the slot is at least one threaded hole with a screw which pierces the wall of the trough-shaped holder and engages the edge of the plate. The pressing of the plate in the socket for the purpose of fixing does not take place here by narrowing the socket itself, but by one, preferably two screws, through the threaded holes on the side can be screwed into the leveling plate in the area of the socket, thereby engaging with the plate rim and thus on the one hand canceling the rotatability of the plate and on the other hand compressing the plate slot to such an extent that the pin of the visor holder protruding into the slot is clamped in the slot so that the Tilt position of the visor holder is fixed with the visor in relation to the aiming plate and the weapon.

The length of the slot in the plate is expediently at least about 50%, preferably 75 to 95% of the plate diameter. In particular, the slot length can be between 85 and 90%, e.g. are 87.5% of the plate diameter. In any case, the slot length must be so large that the forces which can be exerted by means of the screw (s) can cause a sufficient slot narrowing and thus the clamping of the pin.

The pin of the base plate of the visor holder is expediently elongated in accordance with the plate slot. The pin of the base plate is partially positively engaged with the slot. A longitudinal displacement of the pin in the slot and thus the sight on the weapon is excluded.

In a further embodiment of the invention, a recess is formed in the straightening plate behind the plate mount, a second pin, which engages in the recess with play, is arranged on the underside of the base plate of the visor holder, and means for restricting the pin play in this recess are provided in the straightening plate. With this intervention, the horizontal pivotability and the vertical tilt of the visor holder can be limited relative to the alignment plate or to the weapon. This is advantageous if, for example, someone untrained to shoot in, for example the owner of the weapon himself, shoots in the weapon via the visor, because the means mentioned to limit the pin play allow fine adjustment.

Preferably, as a means for restricting the pin play in the transverse direction (i.e. perpendicular to the target direction) in the directional plate, two threaded bores opening into the recess and opposite one another in the direction of the transverse play of the second pin are formed, into which screws are screwed. The horizontal movement of the visor can be restricted by these two side screws. In particular, horizontal fine adjustment is possible with these screws.

Furthermore, as a means for restricting the pin play in the height direction in the rear part of the directional plate, a threaded hole arranged approximately in its central plane and opening into the recess is provided with a screw, and an inclined surface is formed on the rear of the second pin, on which the screw comes into contact when screwing in. With this depth adjustment screw, a fine adjustment of the tilt position of the visor is possible. If the screw comes to rest on the inclined surface, the visor is tilted backwards by further screwing in, i.e. his target point raised. If the desired optimal tilt position of the visor is achieved in this way, this is fixed by tightening the turntable and clamping the front pin in the plate slot.

The recess for the second spigot can also be trough-shaped and, as a means for restricting the spigot play in the depth direction in the bottom of this recess, have a threaded bore opening into the recess with a screw. By screwing the screw into the threaded hole, the lower stop point of the pin is raised and the tilting scope of the visor is reduced accordingly.

A dovetail spring corresponding to the dovetail groove on the weapon is expediently formed on the underside of the straightening plate. It is thus possible to mount the rear sight, which is usually releasably attached to the weapon by means of a dovetail connection exchange with the device according to the invention with an optical visor.

The visor holder is expediently designed as a sleeve with a square cross section. Since the visor also has a square, in particular rectangular, cross section, the visor holder sleeve is adapted to the cross section of the visor holder. The visor holder can be inserted into the sleeve. The sleeve has a recess for the visor switch that is conveniently located. The visor is expediently glued into the visor holder. This has the advantage that the visor cannot move in the holder, which is otherwise possible in particular in the case of large-caliber weapons as a result of the shock during the shot.

The hand gun shown in Figure 1 has on the top in the usual way a cross-section dovetail-shaped transverse groove 1 a , in which the rear sight is normally inserted. Instead of the rear sight , the inventive device 2 , 3, which in turn holds the optical visor 4, is inserted into the groove 1 a .

The embodiment of the set-up device shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 comprises a straightening plate 2 which has a transverse, dovetail-shaped spring 5 on the underside , which is inserted into the transverse groove 1 a . The straightening plate 2 has a circular opening 6. From the front edge 2 a of the plate 2 is a Slot 7 guided to the circular recess 6. A screw 8 is screwed into a threaded bore 2 b on one side of the slot 7 in the plate 2 and is supported with its head on the other side of the slot 7 in the plate 2, so that the screw 7 screwed in the gap 7 and thus the opening 6 can be narrowed. A turntable 9 is rotatably arranged in the opening 6, which can normally be rotated in the opening 6, but its rotatability can be blocked by tightening the screw 8. The turntable 9 in turn has a slot 10 which extends diametrically from the plate edge to beyond the center of the plate into the plate.

In the plate 2, a second recess 11 is provided behind the opening 6 and at a distance therefrom, which is preferably also a plate opening. On the two long sides of the plate 2, a threaded bore 12 is provided in the region of the recess 11, which opens into the opening 11. Screws 13 are screwed into the bores 12. Furthermore, a threaded bore 14, which opens into the recess 11 and is arranged in the longitudinal center axis of the plate 2 and into which a screw 15 is also screwed, is provided at the rear end.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, a visor holder 3 in the form of a sleeve with a rectangular cross section is placed on the plate 2. On the bottom plate 3 a of the visor holder 3, a first, downwardly projecting pin 16 is formed on the underside, which is elongated and engages in the elongated plate slot 10. On the bottom plate 3 a , a second pin 17 is also formed on the underside near the rear end, which projects into the opening 11. By engaging the longitudinal pin 16 in the slot 10, the visor holder 3 with the visor 4 on the plate 2 can be pivoted horizontally by a small angle, which is determined by the extent to which the screws 13 are screwed into the threaded bores 12. The horizontal pivoting range of the sight can be restricted by the screws 13, which in particular means that the inexperienced owner of the weapon can set up relieved of the visor. With the screw 15, the tilt position of the visor holder 3 and the visor 4, that is, their inclination to the leveling plate 2 and thus to the weft axis can be adjusted. For this purpose, the pin 17 has on the back an inclined surface 17 a , on which the screw 15 comes to rest when it is screwed into the bore 14. When the screw 15 is screwed in further, its cone slides on the surface 17 a and thereby causes the rear end of the visor holder 3 to be raised and thus the target marking to be lowered. With the screws 13 and 14, a fine adjustment of the line of sight is possible, so that the target can be brought into line with the point of impact of the shot. It is obvious to a person skilled in the art that the device 11-15, 17 allows fine adjustment, but the skilled person can also do this alone with the device 9, 10, 16. After the visor is precisely adjusted in this way by the device 9, 10, 16 and, if necessary, additionally by the device 11-15, 17, this setting is fixed in that the screw 8 is screwed further into its threaded bore 2 b , thereby the gap 17 narrowed and the turntable 9 and the pin 16 clamped.

The version of the turntable 9 here consists of a trough-shaped cylindrical recess 18 in the plate 2, in which the circular plate 9 is fitted with little play is. The thickness of the turntable 9 is so large that its top is flush with the top of the plate 2. The central front slot 7 and the screw 8 are omitted. To clamp the turntable 9 in the recess 18, the plate 2 contains on each of its two longitudinal sides a threaded bore 19 with screws 20 opening approximately perpendicular to the recess 18.

It can be seen that, apart from the type of clamping fixation of the visor holder 3, both embodiments correspond. After the visor holder 3 is set up with the visor 4, it is fixed by screwing the screws 20 into their threaded bores 19, whereby the plate 9 in the trough-shaped frame 18 and the longitudinal pin 16 of the visor holder 3 are clamped in the plate slot 10.

The inventive device allows handguns and handguns, including police and military weapons, to be fitted with an optical visor in a short time and in a simple manner, ie even by inexperienced people, and the weapon can be shot through this visor. The performance of the weapon can be increased significantly without additional assembly costs.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 largely corresponds to the embodiment of FIGS. 2 and 3. However, the recess 11 in the leveling plate 2 is trough-shaped, and in the trough base 2 c there is a threaded bore 30 with a grub screw 31. By screwing the screw 31 forward in the recess 11, the tilting of the visor holder is restricted to the rear.
