Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tunnel boring machine for driving underground routes with a rotatingly drivable drill head base body, with a rigid pre-drill arranged on the drill head base body and driven with it, and with tool carriers articulated about pivot axes on the drill head base body with at least one roller drilling tool working according to the undercutting principle, the tool carriers at least via thrust piston gears from the point of attack in the pilot hole to the outline of the cross-section.
  • a generic track boring machine in which the pre-drill is connected via a central drive shaft connected to the drill head body, which on the one hand limits the swivel angle of the tool carriers which can be pivoted radially between the point of attack in the pre-drilled hole and the track joints, and which on the other hand, very high forces must be transmitted in connection with a pre-drill with a large cross section.
  • the diameter of the pilot drill must be such that the roller tools of the swiveling tool carrier can take advantage of the undercutting to intervene in the mountains between the drive shaft and the borehole wall.
  • Such a large-sized pre-drilling head requires the transmission of a very high torque and requires very high pressure forces, which in turn represent a high uneconomical energy expenditure.
  • the drive shaft must absorb the transverse forces caused by the large pre-drilling head.
  • constructional difficulties continue to arise in that it is difficult to displace the thrust piston gears required for the pivotable tool carriers.
  • Deviating from such a design of a track boring machine, another machine for driving track tunnels or the like with a rotationally drivable working head is known from the unpublished patent application P 40 15 462.9, to which, for example, four pivotable roller boring tool arms are articulated. Since such a device works without a pilot hole, but at the same time the roller drilling tools are to work according to the undercut principle, a tool arm is provided which can be pivoted almost centrally to the working head in order to create a suitable cavity for the engagement of the other tool carriers.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a track boring machine of the generic type which enables a reduction in the energy expenditure in the production of the pilot hole, the stresses resulting from the operating torques and transverse forces and the wear on the boring machine.
  • the pilot drill is designed as a drill core by slitting an annular cavity, which consists of two drill tools arranged parallel to one another and at a distance from the central axis of the line cavity and arranged on tool arms and the tool arms on a crossbar of a feed device having, frame-like support structure arranged on the drill head base body are articulated, the side supports of the frame-like support structure being arranged rotated by 90 ° about the longitudinal axis relative to the tool supports of the widening tools on the drill head base body, and the thrust piston gears of the tool supports being encompassed by the frame-like support structure.
  • the frame construction articulated at right angles to the swiveling tool carriers on the drill head base body makes it possible to create sufficient space for the push piston mechanisms of the swiveling tool carriers.
  • the design of the pilot drill as a ring drill namely the formation of two tool arms articulated on a crossbar, makes it possible to drill an annular cavity which, due to the small area to be machined, requires less torque and lower pressing forces.
  • the right-angled arrangement of the frame construction and the tool arms, which are articulated as pre-drills allow the pivoting angle to be increased for the pivotable tool carriers working according to the undercut principle.
  • pivotable tool carriers each provided with at least one roller drilling tool, can intervene in the space between the tool arms designed as ring drills in the arrangement at right angles to the supporting structure, they are at the same time able, if the drill core does not break off automatically, to destroy it on its way back.
  • the frame construction carrying the ring drill can be provided with further transverse reinforcements and can in this way take over the forces occurring on the ring drill without difficulty.
  • the feed device for displacing the supporting structure in the longitudinal direction has feed cylinders integrated in the side supports.
  • the control of the pre-drill or the feed device is independent of the control of the swivel arms.
  • the tool arms that form the ring drill can be provided with roller drilling tools or hard metal chisels articulated on interchangeable tool holders.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 only the front part, namely the rotatable drill head base body 1 of a track boring machine, is shown, on which tool carriers 12 carrying two roller drilling tools 13 are pivotably pivoted radially from the inside outwards to the track joints via pivot axes 14.
  • a frame construction 9 is articulated between the tool carriers 12, parallel to a central axis 5 and at right angles to the tool carriers 12, on the drill head base body 1, as shown in FIG.
  • the frame construction 9 consists of side beams 15 which - as shown in FIG. 2 - are connected to one another via a crossbar 10.
  • the feed device is integrated in the form of a feed cylinder 11 in each of the side supports 15.
  • the frame-like support structure 9 is stabilized in the exemplary embodiment shown via a transverse reinforcement 16.
  • the supporting structure encompasses the thrust piston gears 18, which are displaced in a holder 19 and via which the pivotable tool carriers 12 can be pivoted radially.
  • the pre-drill is attached to the crossbeam 10 of the supporting structure 9 in the form of a ring drill.
  • the ring drill consists of two tool arms 6 articulated at a distance from the central axis 5 on the crossbeam and which are provided with drilling tools 7.
  • the tool arms 6 are equipped with interchangeable tool holders 8, which can be equipped with roller drilling tools 7 or hard metal chisels.
  • the rotary movement of the drill head base body about the axis 5 creates an annular cavity 4 on the face 17 through the tool arms 6 and a drill core 3 between the tool arms 6.
  • the roller drilling tools 13 grip Inward pivoting of the tool carrier 12 so far into the space between the tool arms 6 of the pilot drill that the drill core, which does not automatically collapse, is broken off by the roller drilling tools 13.
  • the right-angled arrangement of the Tool carrier 12 to the tool arms 6, which form the pre-drill 2, and the distance of the tool arms 6 from one another ensure continuous pre-drilling with simultaneous undercut.
