Definitions
- the invention relates to a new method for cleaning dishes in the known multi-stage continuous washing systems.
- These automatic dishwashers contain at least one pre-rinse stage ("pre-clearing zone"), a main rinse stage and a final rinse zone in which fresh water mixed with rinse aid is used.
- the rinse water is circulated in the individual rinse stages by means of pumps and sieved in the process.
- the fresh water which is reduced by towing losses, flows through the flushing system via cascades in counterflow to the direction of transport and is discarded at the inlet as waste water after it has been freed from contaminants influencing the discharge conditions mechanically (light liquid separator with sludge trap) or physico-chemically (emulsion splitting system) has been.
- the wastewater treatment plant is usually installed far away from the flushing system and is therefore neglected. During the cleaning intervals of the separator, the time intervals specified in the standard are often not observed. The then disposed of separator content can only be disposed of as special waste because it has decomposed into non-recyclable substances through acid fermentation.
- the task of improving the wastewater treatment of the dishwasher and thereby obtaining the ingredients in a recyclable form is now achieved in that the wastewater obtained in the pre-rinse stage is mechanically and optionally chemically cleaned in an integrated treatment stage.
- the arrangement of the wastewater treatment stage (s) in the rinsing system opens up the possibility of disposing of the separated wastewater ingredients in a fresh and thus recyclable state at short intervals. This is preferably done in a separator that works without air. If the ingredients separated off there are transferred according to the invention into a container which also contains no air volume, then the ingredients can be collected without decomposition and given for recycling.
- the wastewater from the separation of the ingredients is perfectly suitable to be reused in the pre-rinse stage as rinse water: This has the advantage over the previous practice of using wastewater from the main rinse stage that the contaminants from the main rinse stage are already eliminated are and no longer burden the pre-rinse stage. If, according to the invention, the wastewater is also chemical cleaned, for example, the ingredients present in the emulsified form are separated, then this purified water can be reused in the rinse aid zone and can therefore be recycled. This drastically reduces fresh water consumption.
- the wastewater cleaned in this way also fulfills the discharge conditions and can be discharged into the sewage system.
- the wastewater from the pre-rinse stage is collected separately and recycled into this stage after cleaning; the wastewater from the main and rinse stages are also collected separately, but, since they are only slightly contaminated, can be discharged into the sewage system in excess.
- the solid contaminants are usually retained by a coarse screen. This sieve must be cleaned at regular intervals.
- the press water from press dewatering is cleaned in the plant's own cleaning system and then recycled to the pre-rinse stage.
- the wet shredder can even be used for solid contaminants that occur in other areas of the kitchen or canteen, which are thus also recycled in a controlled manner.
- the press-dewatered contaminants are in the collection container stacked for disposal. Any other waste water with separable contents can be treated in the separator system of the automatic dishwasher and the cleaned waste water can also be used in the flushing system. This results in a second use of these waters.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a new method for cleaning dishes in the known multi-stage continuous washing systems. These automatic dishwashers contain at least one pre-rinse stage ("pre-clearing zone"), a main rinse stage and a final rinse zone in which fresh water mixed with rinse aid is used. The rinse water is circulated in the individual rinse stages by means of pumps and sieved in the process. The fresh water, which is reduced by towing losses, flows through the flushing system via cascades in counterflow to the direction of transport and is discarded at the inlet as waste water after it has been freed from contaminants influencing the discharge conditions mechanically (light liquid separator with sludge trap) or physico-chemically (emulsion splitting system) has been. The wastewater treatment plant is usually installed far away from the flushing system and is therefore neglected. During the cleaning intervals of the separator, the time intervals specified in the standard are often not observed. The then disposed of separator content can only be disposed of as special waste because it has decomposed into non-recyclable substances through acid fermentation.
The task of improving the wastewater treatment of the dishwasher and thereby obtaining the ingredients in a recyclable form is now achieved in that the wastewater obtained in the pre-rinse stage is mechanically and optionally chemically cleaned in an integrated treatment stage. The arrangement of the wastewater treatment stage (s) in the rinsing system opens up the possibility of disposing of the separated wastewater ingredients in a fresh and thus recyclable state at short intervals. This is preferably done in a separator that works without air. If the ingredients separated off there are transferred according to the invention into a container which also contains no air volume, then the ingredients can be collected without decomposition and given for recycling.
As far as the water from the separation of the ingredients is concerned, it is perfectly suitable to be reused in the pre-rinse stage as rinse water: This has the advantage over the previous practice of using wastewater from the main rinse stage that the contaminants from the main rinse stage are already eliminated are and no longer burden the pre-rinse stage. If, according to the invention, the wastewater is also chemical cleaned, for example, the ingredients present in the emulsified form are separated, then this purified water can be reused in the rinse aid zone and can therefore be recycled. This drastically reduces fresh water consumption. The wastewater cleaned in this way also fulfills the discharge conditions and can be discharged into the sewage system.
It is also conceivable and very advantageous to set up two wastewater circuits: the wastewater from the pre-rinse stage is collected separately and recycled into this stage after cleaning; the wastewater from the main and rinse stages are also collected separately, but, since they are only slightly contaminated, can be discharged into the sewage system in excess.
In the pre-rinse stage, the solid contaminants are usually retained by a coarse screen. This sieve must be cleaned at regular intervals. In order to mechanize this process, it is proposed according to the invention to shred the screened contaminants in a so-called wet shredder and to transport the unpurified waste water removed with the pre-rinse stage to a press dewatering. The press water from press dewatering is cleaned in the plant's own cleaning system and then recycled to the pre-rinse stage. The wet shredder can even be used for solid contaminants that occur in other areas of the kitchen or canteen, which are thus also recycled in a controlled manner. The press-dewatered contaminants are in the collection container stacked for disposal. Any other waste water with separable contents can be treated in the separator system of the automatic dishwasher and the cleaned waste water can also be used in the flushing system. This results in a second use of these waters.
Finally, used edible oils and fats, e.g. Fryer fat, are supplied so that their disposal and return for recycling is ensured.
