Abstract

With this apparatus it is possible to activate a catching apparatus (3, 23) or a car brake (2, 22) which is mounted on the lift car (1, 21) if excess speed is detected in an upward or downward direction of travel or if there is uncontrolled movement of the lift car (1, 21). Activation is via a cage (6, 26) of connecting rods, by means of upper or lower connecting rods (5, 25; 7, 27) the cage (6, 26) of connecting rods transmitting a relative movement which is executed by a mechanical or electromagnetic monitoring device from the monitoring device to the connecting rods (5, 25; 7, 27). An upper and lower sliding connection (8, 28; 7, 27) serves as a connection between the cage (6, 26) of connecting rods and the upper and lower connecting rods (5, 25; 7, 27), transmits tensile forces and activates the catching apparatus (3) or the car brake (2) depending on whether the relative movement is upwards or downwards. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a device for triggering safety devices in the event of uncontrolled accelerations or movements of an elevator car with at least one guide rail for the elevator car, with a safety device set up for downward travel and a car brake set up for upward travel, each acting on the same guide rail, and for direction assigned to them can be actuated.

A device for triggering a safety device for an elevator system has become known from FR-A-794 510, in which a lever linkage arranged on the cabin triggers the safety device when the control cable of the speed regulator breaks, when one or more car suspension cables extend or break or when the elevator car has an overspeed in the descent.

Die Auslösehebel sind einstellbar mit der Auslösewelle verbunden, so dass im Einsatzfalle eine absolute Eingriffsgleichstellung für beide Fangvorrichtungen erzielt werden kann.DE-A-28 26 309 discloses a device for triggering two safety devices of an elevator car, which are arranged separately from one another at the same time, in which a release shaft has a release lever at both ends, which is connected to one of the two safety devices acting on the guide rails. The release levers are adjustably connected to the release shaft, so that, in the event of an emergency, absolute engagement equality can be achieved for both safety gear devices.

Another device for triggering a safety device for an elevator system has become known from CH-A-369 566, in which an endless control cable connected to the car drives a regulator that controls the safety device of the car. The control cable is anchored to the cabin via a release device. The feature of this invention is that even if the control cable breaks, the triggering device triggers the safety gear and the elevator car is brought to a standstill, whereby serious accidents can be prevented in advance.

A disadvantage of these known devices for triggering safety devices in an elevator system is that only safety devices can be actuated that bring the elevator car to a stop in the downward direction if it has a speed that exceeds the normal speed by a certain amount when a regulator cable breaks or if one or more cab suspension ropes lengthen or break.

Beide Bremseinrichtungen wirken auf die gleiche Führungsschiene und werden ausgelöst, wenn der Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzer durch Übergeschwindigkeit in der Abwärtsrichtung oder in der Aufwärtsrichtung anspricht.EP-A-0 440 839 discloses a device for preventing uncontrolled movements of elevators, in which an identical braking device installed in the opposite position, both for the downward movement and for the upward movement, is triggered via transmission elements by the control cable of a speed limiter can be. Both braking devices act on the same guide rail and are triggered when the speed limiter responds in the downward direction or in the upward direction due to overspeed.

A disadvantage of this device is that it becomes ineffective if the control cable breaks.

The invention has for its object a device for triggering safety devices of an elevator system in the event of uncontrolled accelerations or movements of the To propose elevator car, which comes into effect both in the downward direction and in the upward direction of the elevator car, as well as in the event of a break in the control cable of the speed regulator.

This object is achieved by the invention characterized in claim 1, in which a tie rod cage arranged on the cabin is connected to a safety device by lower tie rods and to a cabin brake by upper tie rods, the tie rod cage being triggered by a relative movement when a mechanical or an electromechanical monitoring device responds depending on the direction of travel, either the safety gear or the cabin brake is used via the associated tie rods.

In the area of the roof of the elevator car 21 there is a car brake 22 engaging on a guide rail 24 and in the area of the bottom of the elevator car 21 a safety device 23 engaging on the guide rail 24 is arranged. The cabin brake 22 is connected to upper tie rods 25 via an upper sliding connection 28 transmitting tensile forces to a tie rod cage 26 and the safety device 23 to lower tie rods 27 via a lower sliding connection 29 transmitting tensile forces to the tie rod cage 26 . The lower tie rods 27 stand by their own weight on the safety device 23 , while the upper tie rods 25 are held in a rest position by the force of a spring 30 , which is supported on a support bearing 31 fixedly arranged on the elevator car 21 . The tie rod cage 26 hangs on the upper tie rods 25 , but is simultaneously encompassed on both sides by a brake lever 32 and 33 of a driver brake 35 constructed on a frame 34 of the elevator car 21 . The driver brake 35 is composed of the two brake levers 32 , 33 with a pivot pin 36 , at least one brake spring 37 and a brake magnet 38 . Both levers 32, 33 each have a fitting on one side on the guide rail 24 carriage plate 39, 40, which are pressed against the guide rail 24 in the use case by the force of the brake spring 37th

The tie rod cage 26 shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 is connected to the upper tie rods 25 via the upper slide connection 28 and to the lower tie rods 27 via the lower slide connection 29 . The upper tie rods 25 are held in a rest position by the force of the spring 30 supported on the support bearing 31 . The tie rod cage 26 hangs with the upper slide connection 28 on the upper tie rods 25 and is encompassed on both sides by a brake lever 32 , 33 of the driving brake 35 . The brake levers 32, 33 are pivotally mounted about the pivot pin 36 and are compressed by the force of the brake spring 37 or released by an electromagnet 38 . When the brake levers 32 , 33 are pressed together by the brake spring 37 , the driver plates 39 , 40 are pressed against the guide rail 24 . The lower tie rods 27 are connected to the tie rod cage 26 via the lower slide connection 29 and stand on the catching device 23 by their own weight, in a starting position.

Bei Stromausfall wird das Abfallen des Bremsmagnetes 38 bis zum Stillstand der Aufzugskabine verzögert.3, 4, 5, 8 and 9, a device for triggering a safety device is shown, which works with the aid of an electromagnetic monitoring device. In the initial position of the elevator, the armature of the de-energized brake magnet 28 is retracted. The biased brake spring 37 causes via the brake lever 33, 34, the Zugstangenkäfig 26 and the carriage plates 39, 40 a pressing force to the guide rail 24th When the elevator is started up, the brake magnet 28 is supplied with current. The anchor of the Brake magnet 28 moves out and stretched over the front brake lever 33, 34, the brake spring 37 further. The driver plates 39 , 40 stand out from the guide rail 24 , the elevator car has free travel. In the event of a power failure, the dropping of the brake magnet 38 is delayed until the elevator car comes to a standstill.

When the elevator car 1 runs uncontrolled, the current to the brake magnet 28 of the driving brake 35 is interrupted. The prestressed brake spring 37 presses the tie rod cage 26 against the guide rail 24 via the driver plates 39 , 40 . Depending on the direction of travel of the elevator car 1 , the pull rod cage 26 executes an upward or downward relative movement through the driver plates 39 , 40 clamped on the guide rail 24 . The further movements for triggering the safety device 23 or the cabin brake 22 take place via the tie rods 25 , 27 in a manner analogous to a known mechanical release, not shown, via a control cable and lever mechanism.

In the mechanical as well as in the electromagnetic monitoring device, inserted brake wedges, which have become jammed between the guide rail and the catching or brake housing, have to be released again after the triggering of one of the safety devices described above. For this purpose, the elevator car must be raised or lowered in the opposite direction of the braking, which can be done from the location of the drive machine.
