Description

There is already known, more particularly from patent FR-A-2,645,250, a built-in cooking element, with heating stoves of the type of halogen stoves and / or radiant stoves, intended for domestic use. In fact, by means of this cooking element described in this prior document, it is a question of solving the problem posed, in general, by a complete cooking hob, comprising an upper plate made of ceramic glass. Indeed, such a table is very fragile and its replacement can be particularly expensive. Thus, in the aforementioned prior document, it is envisaged to produce the surface of the hob in a natural material, such as granite, marble, polished stone on the surface, or any other material which is able to withstand temperature rises, is resistant and has low thermal conductivity. A hob designed in such a material has, in addition, openings intended to receive vitroceramic glass pellets under which are arranged heating zones such as halogen fireplaces or radiant fireplaces. The control buttons of these heating zones are themselves inserted into one or more openings in the hob made of natural material. Note that all of these heaters are placed in a box attached under the underside of the plate forming the surface of the hob, which is placed in a cutout made in the worktop of a kitchen or similar.

In fact, it can be seen that this type of cooking element, as described in patent FR-A-2,645,250, although providing a solution to the problems associated with the production of a cooktop made entirely of glass ceramic glass , nevertheless leads to drawbacks, generally encountered during the installation of a cooking element, whatever its nature, in a kitchen worktop.

Thus, between this cooking element and this work plan, there remains a rim defining an internal angle at which cleaning can only be carried out with great difficulty. However, from a hygienic point of view, it may be necessary to remove such germ development centers. In addition, this rim, which defines the cooking element vis-à-vis a work surface, comes to reduce the useful surface of the latter.

Under these conditions, the present invention proposes to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks, by using as a cooking element a heating hearth surmounted by a ceramic glass pellet, the assembly being integrated, individually, in a cutout made directly in the work plan. Thus, the latter comprises as many cutouts as desired heating zones.

However, this solution, although removing all the problems of cleaning or congestion encountered in the past, poses other problems which the prior art does not emphasize. In particular, the use of a box placed under the cooking element, but also the significant distance separating the various heating zones from the edge of the cutouts arranged in the work plan, in known manner, prevent this plan from deteriorating. work under the effect of a significant heat transfer.

However, in the case of individual implantation of the hearths of heating in openings adjusted for this purpose in a work plan, the transfer of heat by convection poses a real problem, whatever the material used for the realization of this last. In particular and by way of example, granite, although being particularly resistant to impact, nevertheless exhibits a certain brittleness in the event of a local rise in temperature.

Note in this regard that, in the context of a granite hob, it is necessarily thin, so as to reduce the edge defined between it and the worktop. Consequently, the problem does not arise in the same terms when there is no transfer of heat by convection, only the conduction between the glass ceramic pellet and the granite being capable of being at the origin of a temperature rise of the latter, temperature rise which, therefore, is necessarily limited.

The present invention therefore also proposes to solve these complementary problems posed by the direct integration of the heating zones in cutouts made in a work plan, by arranging not only around these heating zones but also at the level of the pellets. glass ceramic glass, thermal insulation means.

The invention relates to a kitchen worktop, in particular for domestic use, comprising at least one cooking element and at least one cutout in which the cooking element is arranged, said cooking element being constituted by a heating hearth , such as a halogen hearth, radiant or induction, comprising an outer insulating envelope and surmounted by a glass-ceramic pellet resting, at its peripheral edge, in an angle iron of insulating material, characterized in that the peripheral edge the ceramic glass pellet has a surface slightly greater than that of the heating hearth, the cut made in the work surface also being slightly larger than the surface of the heating hearth increased by the additional thickness due to the insulating envelope, this cut out further comprising, in its upper border a recess, intended to accommodate the pellet and its angle in insulating material so that the pellet is arranged in the same horizontal plane as the upper face of the work surface, a sealing and assembly adhesive being injected on the one hand between the external walls of the recess receiving the angle , and the walls defining the recess and on the other hand the internal walls opposite the angle iron and the glass-ceramic pellet.

The advantages obtained by virtue of the invention therefore consist in the fact that the work surface does not have, at the height of the cooking elements, any nook, roughness or the like, liable to hinder or make the cleaning of this work surface more delicate. Furthermore, it can be made of any material, without this posing a problem, in particular when using a material sensitive to heat.

Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the description which follows, relating to a particular embodiment, which is given only by way of indicative and nonlimiting example, with reference to the appended drawing, in which:
  • Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of a work plan, incorporating several cooking elements, mounted in accordance with the invention.
  • Figure 2 is a partial schematic view, on a larger scale and in section, of a work surface, at the height of a cooking element.

As shown in Figure 1, the present invention relates to a worktop 1 of a kitchen, in particular for domestic use.

This worktop 1 of a given thickness 2, comprises at least one and preferably several cutouts 3, 4, 5 (three in number in the case of Figure 1) in which are arranged cooking elements 6, 7 , 8, of varying shapes and profiles.

In fact and according to the invention, these cooking elements 6, 7, 8 are constituted, each in the manner illustrated in FIG. 2, by a heating hearth 9, by a hearth of conventional structure therefore not explicitly described here, of the such as a halogen hearth, radiant or induction, surmounted in a known manner by a glass-ceramic pellet 10. Note that the surface of this pellet 10 is slightly greater than that of the heating hearth 9. In addition, its external shape is a function from that of the latter, the heating zones 9 can be circular, ovoid or any shape, the heating zone possibly being adjustable.

It will in fact be noted that, because of the importance of the thickness 2 of such a work surface 1, this heat transmission by convection is not negligible, all the more so as the cuts 3, 4, 5, intended to individually accommodate each of the cooking elements 6, 7, 8, are of transverse dimension barely greater than the surface of the heating hearth 9, increased by the additional thickness 12, due to the outer insulating envelope 11. According to a method of preferred embodiment of the invention, this insulating envelope 11 also covers the lower face 13 of the heating hearth 9, this so as to avoid heat transfers by convection in the direction of the lower part of the work surface 1.

In accordance with the invention, provision is also made to rest the peripheral edge 14 of the vitroceramic pellet 10 which projects laterally from the heating hearth 9, in an angle bar of insulating material 15, intended to avoid, in this case, the transfer of heat by conduction between this vitroceramic pellet 10 and the work surface 1. Advantageously, the latter has, in its upper border 16, in line with the cutout 3, 4, 5, a recess 17 capable precisely of accommodating the peripheral border 14 of the glass-ceramic patch 10 and its insulating angle 15, being deep enough so that this patch 10 is in the same horizontal plane as the upper face 18 of the work plane 1.

It should be specified that, both between the external walls 19 defining the recess 17 receiving the insulating angle 15, and between the facing internal walls 20 of this same angle and the glass-ceramic pellet 10, is preferably injected a glue sealing and assembly 21. This is naturally chosen to withstand a temperature which in operating homes, can reach 300 ° C.

It will also be noted that the upper vertical rim 22 defined by the angle 15 has a height 23 slightly less than the thickness 24 of the pad 10, so that between the latter and said work plane 1, a groove 25 of shallow depth, which is filled with the same sealing and assembly adhesive 21 having served for the connection on the one hand of the angle 15 in the recess 17 and on the other hand of the patch 10 in this same angle 15.

A noter, à ce propos, que ce dernier peut être intégré, tout comme les éléments de cuisson 6, 7, 8 dans une découpe 30, aménagée dans le plan de travail 1.Finally, a protective cover 26 is placed under each cooking element 6, 7 or 8, being made integral with the latter or with the underside 27 of the work surface 1. Such a protective cover thus prevents direct access of a user to the various heating zones 9, and, more particularly, to the electrical connection members (not shown), connecting them to a power supply or to a control console 29. It should be noted, in this regard, that the latter can be integrated, like the cooking elements 6, 7, 8 in a cutout 30, arranged in the work surface 1.

The advantages obtained thanks to the invention mainly consist in that each of the cooking elements 6, 7, 8, constituted by a heating hearth 9 with which is associated a glass ceramic disc 10, can be integrated, individually, in the work plan 1, whatever the nature of the latter. It will be observed that such a characteristic leads to the possibility, for each user, to freely compose, at the level of his own kitchen, his cooking set in so far as he can choose both the size of the heating zones coming to compose this set as their arrangement, number and type.
