Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for the automatic removal of sponge rubber balls when cleaning and emptying liquid lines, such as beverage lines in dispensing systems.
- DE-OS 39 42 788 describes a device for cleaning and emptying liquid lines, in particular beverage lines in dispensing systems, with a slide valve or rotary slide valve, which consists in the fact that the cylindrical magazine for sponge rubber balls and the one at the top of a valve slide a flexible beverage line leading to the dispensing connection piece are arranged, the threaded connection for the cleaning water supply and the connection for the beverage supply in the lower part of the valve housing have the same distance as the two through holes in the valve slide.
- the main advantage is achieved that the sponge rubber balls the point of separation between the liquid, such as. B. the beer, and the cleaning water, the cleaning water pushing the sponge rubber ball through the beverage line leading to the bar, where it can then be removed.
- This method can essentially only be carried out in the case of beverage taps which have a complete passage between the beverage line and the tap. But there are also taps that have a so-called “compensator” that does not completely clear the passage between the tap and the beverage line. In this case, it is not possible to remove the sponge rubber ball used for cleaning via the tap.
- the present invention has for its object to remedy this disadvantage and to provide a device of the type mentioned, with which the sponge rubber balls can be removed automatically even with taps of the type mentioned.
- a device for automatically removing sponge rubber balls when cleaning and emptying liquid lines, such as beverage lines in dispensing systems or the like is proposed, which is characterized in that the passage between the beverage line and the passage is not complete releasing tap a connectable to the tap and the beverage line, provided with a passage intermediate piece is arranged, which has an outlet opening for the sponge rubber balls and in which a piece of pipe provided with seals is displaceable such that in the operating state of the beverage extraction a tight connection between the drink tap and connector arises, while in the cleaning state after pulling back the pipe piece, preferably the opening of the pipe piece adjacent to the tap is released via the outlet opening in the intermediate piece for removing the sponge rubber balls.
- an O-ring seal is arranged on the tap-side end of the displaceable tube piece, which in the operating state lies sealingly in the opening of the intermediate piece.
- a further O-ring seal is arranged in the intermediate piece; which bears sealingly on the outer jacket of the displaceable tube piece, which has a flange at the rear end, the space within the intermediate piece being widened in the region of the downward-pointing outlet opening.
- the main advantage is achieved that even in dispensing systems with a tap that does not have a complete passage, the beverage lines can be cleaned automatically with a sponge rubber ball.
- the pipe section can be moved manually or automatically, for example pneumatically, by electric motor, magnetically or hydraulically.
- the device according to the invention essentially consists of an intermediate piece 1 with a through-hole 2 and a downwardly directed outlet opening 3.
- the intermediate piece 1 is inserted between the rear part 4 of the tap provided with a compensator 5 and the beverage line 6.
- the beverage line 6 is pushed onto a connecting piece 7 and is fastened by means of a union nut 8 to the rear part 9 of a pipe piece 10 which can be displaced within the through-hole 2.
- the displaceable pipe section 10 has an O-ring seal 11 in a groove on the tap-side end, which seals the pipe section in the area mentioned.
- a further O-seal 12 is inserted at the opposite end, which rests sealingly on the outer wall of the tube piece 10.
- the pipe section has a flange 13 for its actuation.
- the space 14 within the intermediate piece 1 is widened in the area of the outlet opening 3.
- the operating state shown in Fig. 1 enables the drink to flow via the line 6 through the pipe section 10 into the tap. If, as shown in FIG. 2, a sponge rubber ball 15 has reached the front end of the intermediate piece 1 in the cleaning state, it cannot be ejected further through the beverage tap. In this case, as shown in Fig. 3, the pipe section 10 is withdrawn from the front part and the space 14 of the intermediate piece 1, so that the sponge rubber ball 15 can escape through the opening 3 and be removed or fed to a magazine.
- Fig. 4 the position of the displaceable pipe section 10 is shown after the sponge rubber ball 15 is removed and the tap is flowed through with water.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3
