Auch ist es möglich, die Geschwindigkeit so zu variieren, daß beispielsweise in einem Bereich des Auflagebandes die Förderbänder ständig mit geringer Geschwindigkeit über dieses geführt werden, in einem benachbarten Bereich daher mit höherer Geschwindigkeit. Damit kann eine Vliesplatte erzeugt werden, die quer zur Bewegungsrichtung des Auflagebandes zunächst eine größere, dann eine geringere Dichte aufweist. Auch in Bewegungsrichtung des Auflagebandes sind unterschiedliche Profilierungen möglich, wenn die Geschwindigkeit der Pendelbewegung zwischen den Umkehrpunkten entsprechend eingestellt wird.
