Abstract

In a device for feeding a non-woven web, particularly a mineral-wool web, onto a receiving conveyor, with a feed conveyor for the non-woven web, and with two conveyor belts which are suspended in a pendulum-like manner and are arranged essentially parallel to one another and between which the non-woven web is transported and which oscillate between two reversal points in a plane perpendicular to the receiving conveyor and perpendicular to the direction of movement of the receiving conveyor, the speed of the receiving conveyor being lower than the discharge speed of the non-woven web, so that the latter comes to rest on the receiving conveyor in at least partially overlapping layers, there is provided for the conveyor belts a linear drive which moves the conveyor belts to and fro at variable speed between reversal points which can be fixed variably. <IMAGE>
