Description

UNSTSTOFFVERSCHLUSS MIT GARANTIEELEMENT PLASTIC LOCK WITH GUARANTEE ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a plastic closure consisting of a lower part which can be fastened to a container and a cover connected to it in one piece via a hinge, with a handle area attached diametrically opposite the hinge, which has at least one guarantee element arranged on the lower part is partially covered; safety means are additionally provided on a closure part and on the guarantee element, which are in a form-fitting connection to one another before the first opening of the closure. A plastic closure of the above-mentioned type is already known from the ES-UM-212 '300. A hook projecting outwards is injection molded onto the lower part of the closure and engages in an opening in the cover when the closure is closed. A guarantee tape molded onto the lower part of webs prevents the gripped so that the securing means can only be pressed apart after its removal.
Another arrangement of the securing elements is shown in EP-A-0 '141' 591. Here, the hook is arranged on the cover and, in the closed state, engages under a guarantee band, which is injected at a distance from the surface of the lower part of the lower part, by means of webs which in turn serve as predetermined breaking points. Furthermore, a variant is also shown here, in which instead of a hook, several outwardly projecting projections are attached to the cover, which engage under the described guarantee band. Completely identical solutions are, however, also already known from US-A-4'487 324 and DE-A-34 '42' 152nd
All of these closures have the unpleasant peculiarity that parts protruding outwards either on the cover or on the lower part remain after the first opening and removal of the guarantee element. On the one hand, this is unattractive and on the other hand it is also useless. However, it is essential that just 'these remaining hooked Vor¬ jumps form a latent risk of injury because the sudden opening or closing the user aufschürft the skin on the fingers. Another solution in which the above problem does not occur is shown in US Pat. No. 4,696,408. Here the guarantee element only covers the handle niche so that the lid cannot be gripped. However, this only partially solves the problem that such a closure has a guarantee element, but has no securing means. Consequently, such a closure is not suitable for containers in which an internal pressure can form. In the absence of securing means that hold the bottom part and cap together in a form-fitting manner, the closure can open due to the formation of gases or due to negative pressure in the environment, for example when transporting bottled drinks over a mountain. Most of the seals secured by guarantee can also be opened by manipulation.
Diese Aufgabe löst ein Kunststoffverschl uss mit den Merk¬ malen des Patentanspruches 1.It is therefore the object of the present invention to improve a plastic closure of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that, despite positive locking means, after removal of the guarantee element there is no longer any risk of injury, but is nevertheless vandal-proof. This object is achieved by a plastic closure with the features of claim 1.
The ingeniously simple solution thus consists in that at least one protruding securing means, directed towards the center of the closure, is attached to the guarantee element and positively engages in a recessed opening on the lower part of the closure. When the guarantee element is removed, the protruding parts of the securing means are removed at the same time, which means that the risk of injury when the lock is actuated later is impossible.
Es zeigt:Further advantageous embodiments are mentioned in the dependent claims and explained in the following description. Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the attached drawings. It shows:

In the drawing, two embodiments of the object of the invention are shown on two differently designed plastic closures. The plastic packaging conclusion according to Figures 1 and 2 is designed for containers containing a viscous medium. Such containers, for example se ketchup, are usually upside down in the use position. For this reason, the lower part 1 widens from the connection with the holding means 9 for attachment to a container, upwards to the cover 2. Lower part 1 and cover 2 are integrally connected to one another via a hinge 4. The design of the hinge is not essential for the invention. The lower part 1 thus has an inner cylindrical part 10, which is closed by a cover surface 11, into which a pouring spout 7 opens. At the lower edge of the cylindrical part 10 of the lower part 1, there is a jacket wall 13 which widens conically from bottom to top and extends to just above the top surface 11 of the cylindrical part 10. Hier¬ by results in an annular cavity 14, the hinged by a "in the area of the hinge 4 covering surface 12 can encrypt ow.
The lid 2 connected to the lower part 1 via the hinge 4 has on its inner surface an annular wall 8 which is designed as a clamping pouring seal. The ring wall 8 is precisely aligned with the pouring spout 7. A The second, concentric wall 15 is designed such that it presses on the cover surface 12 when the closure is in the closed state. Diametrically opposite the hinge 4 is a recess in the vertical wall, which forms the grip area 3. Here the user applies a force acting in the opening direction with his thumb. To avoid slipping, the grip area 3 is provided with a corrugation 16. In the lowest part of the grip area 3 one can see a latching recess 17 which has an angular cross section. Before the first opening by the user, a guarantee element 5 is attached to the lower part 1. The connection between the guarantee element 5 and the lower part 1 takes place via a plurality of destructible connection points 18. The connection points 18 can be designed, for example, as webs, which are configured as So! Serve 1 fraction. When it is closed for the first time, the cover 2 slides with its grip area 3 behind the guarantee element 5. The guarantee element 5 has latching hooks 19 which have a sawtooth-shaped cross section. Preferably, several egg nrasthaketi will be provided, but in principle a single snap hook 19 is sufficient. In the guaranteed position of the closure, the snap hooks 19 engage in the snap-in niche 17 of the cover 2. The snap-in niche 17 with a square cross Cut forms the securing means 6 together with the snap-in hooks 19. It is not possible to release these securing means 6, even with tools, without destroying the destructible connecting points 18 between the lower part 1 and the guarantee element 5.
The guarantee element 5 will in most cases be designed as a tear-off guarantee band. In principle, however, it would be easily possible to make this thick-walled, so that it receives sufficient rigidity to be pressed off with a certain amount of force. In any case, the guarantee element, through its presence, forms the visible integrity check. As long as the guarantee element is present, the securing means 6 cannot be disengaged. The corner niche 17 does not form an obstacle against which the user could injure himself. The protruding parts of the fuse, namely the snap-in hooks 19, are removed simultaneously with the destruction of the connection points 18. There is therefore no possibility of injuring yourself on the snap-in hooks.
The reference numbers for the same elements were retained. The closure is shown on a container B in the assembled state. The container can be, for example, a deformable plastic bottle. The closure shown here is more suitable for thin media. Here, too, the lower part 1 can be seen, which is connected to the cover 2 by a snap hinge 4. The main axis between lower part 1 and cover 2 forms a film hinge 20. An S-shaped spring element 21 effects the snap action of the closure. The spring element 21 is connected to the lower part 1 via a film hinge 22 and to the cover 2 via a film hinge 23. This time, the lower part 1 has a cylindrical jacket wall 13 and an inner ring wall 15. The inner ring wall 15 again has a holding means 9 for attachment to the container B. While in the first exemplary embodiment the holding means is a thread, in this case it is an annular groove into which a suitable annular bead is received on the container neck. Such a closure can be easily pressed on. An annular wall 8 with a corresponding sealing bead is in turn molded on in the cover itself. The ring wall 8 in turn fits onto the pouring spout 7, which passes through the cover surface 11 of the lower part 1. The jacket wall 13 runs from the point diametrically opposite the hinge 4. overlaps, diagonally up to the highest point, which lies at the film hinge 20.
Die schwenkbare Sperre 27 wirkt mit einer Sperrkante 29 zu¬ sammen, die die untere Begrenzung des Griffberei ches 3 b ldet.FIGS. 3 and 4 show the closure in its production position, that is to say in the position in which it is injected. In this position, the guarantee element 5 is still firmly connected to the lower part 1 via the destructible connection points 18. In the area of the upper edge of the guarantee element 5, a pivotable lock 27, which is directed obliquely upwards in the production position, is attached. The pivotable lock 27 is attached to the guarantee element 5 via a film hinge 28. When the closure is removed from the mold, the lock 27 can pivot away without any problems, so that there is no danger that this element will be damaged when the closure is removed from the mold. The pivotable lock 27 cooperates with a locking edge 29 which forms the lower limit of the grip area 3 b.
Somit ist eine doppelte Sicherheit gewährleistet.FIGS. 5 and 6 show the plastic closure according to the invention after the initial closure in the guarantee position. When it is closed for the first time, the lower edge of the cover 2 pushes down the pivotable lock 27 and slides past it. The swiveling lock 27 now lies within the grip area 3 and stands on the locking edge 29. The pivotable lock 27 together with the locking edge 29 in turn form the securing means 6. The guarantee element in this case is again shown as a tear-off guarantee strip which has grip tabs 25 that are thickened at the ends. The guarantee element 5 in turn forms a visual inspection for the integrity of the product. Even if one would reach into the remaining small gap between the guarantee element and the cover 2 from above with a thin tool, the pivotable lock 27 could not be pressed so far towards the guarantee element 5 due to its thickness that it would no longer be caught by the locking edge 29 would. So the guarantee is absolutely vandal ensi rather. The guarantee band 5 largely encompassing the cover 2 also does not allow the cover 2 to be gripped at all. This ensures double security.
Once the guarantee element 5 has been removed, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the closure can be operated like an ordinary snap closure without any protruding parts remaining on the lower part or on the cover, which in turn any risk of injury is definitely avoided. Be understood The guarantee element can not only be configured as a guarantee band, as shown, but also as a push-off part. Such a part would only be made somewhat larger than the grip area 3. The destructible connection between the guarantee element and the lower part can be formed not only as a destructible web, but also as a tear-open, continuous thin section.
It is surprising that the simple idea of arranging the securing means 6 on the cover and the guarantee element in a different manner has never been realized. This is all the more astonishing since it is the first time that a really vandal-proof guarantee lock can be realized. The previously known guarantee closures could always be opened with some skill and a small screwdriver without destroying the guarantee element or the connection between the guarantee element and the lower part.
