Since the forming of the gutter takes place wholly symmetrically, the material thickness in the blank employed can probably be reduced somewhat, possibly of the order of magnitude of between 10 and 20 per cent, whereby a further material saving may be achieved without running the risk of any deterioration in quality or other drawbacks.

Claims (5)
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines dünnwandigen Rohrkrümmers, welches als Schritte die Herstellung von Hälften für den Rohrkrümmer und das Zusammenfügen der zwei Hälften zur Bildung des Rohrkrümmers umfaßt, wobei die Hälften spiegelbildlich zueinander in der Krümmungsebene des Rohrkrümmers durch Ausbilden einer ringförmigen Rinne (2) in einer Blechvorlage (1) geformt und der Rinne ein Profil gegeben wird, das im wesentlichen dem Profil einer Hälfte entspricht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Vorlage (1) eine Form mit außerhalb und zentral zur formenden Rinne (2) angeordneten Abfallanteilen (5,6) gegeben wird, daß in den zentralen Abfallanteil (6) der Vorlage (1) während des Ausformungsprozesses für die Rinne (2) eine Öffnung (7) geschnitten wird und das die Hälften von dem äußeren Abfallstreifen (5) der Vorlage und dem zentralen Abfallanteil (6) abgeschnitten werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnung (7) gegen Ende des Formprozesses für die Rinne (2) geschnitten wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnung (7) geschnitten wird, wenn noch etwa 40 % des die Rinne (2) formenden Preßvorgangs verbleiben.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorlage (1) eine im wesentlichen quadratische oder rechteckige Form aufweist.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in etwa radial ausgerichtete Brücken bei der Teilung der Rinne (2) stehengelassen werden, wobei die Brücken die Teile (5) der Vorlage (1), die außerhalb der Rinne (2) angeordnet sind, mit den innerhalb angeordneten Teilen (6) verbinden.
