Claims (5)
- Device for locking a lid (3) onto a receptacle (2) of a container (1), particularly a wheeled bin, including an immobilizing component (11) mounted so that it can pivot between a position which locks the lid (3) in the closed position and a position which unlocks the lid (3), and an operating member (13) comprising a mass movable in guided translation and capable of being displaced when the container (1) assumes a predetermined inclined position, the immobilizing component and the operating member including interacting projecting means (23, 24) arranged so that a displacement of the operating member (13) in translation in one direction (20, 26) gives rise to a rotation of the immobilizing component (11) in the direction for unlocking (21, 27) the lid, characterized in that the said operating member (13) further includes projecting means (16) interacting with the immobilizing component (11) arranged so that the operating member (13) keeps the immobilizing component (11) in the locked position when the container (1) is in the rest position.
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the immobilizing component is a latch (11) pivoting about a spindle (12) and at its upper end including a projection (10) engaging in the locked position in a recess (9) at the lower end of a keeper (6) integral with the lid (3).
- Device according to any one of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that it comprises a means such as a cam (17) interacting with the operating member (13) in order to displace the latter in translation, the said cam being operable with the aid of an actuating means such as a personalized key.
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said projecting means (23, 24) of the operating member (13) and of the immobilizing component (11) are arranged to keep the operating member (13) in the extreme position which it reaches when it is displaced and allow it to return to the initial position when the immobilizing component (11) is displaced in the direction of unlocking (33) when the lid is closed.
- Container, particularly a wheeled bin, including a receptacle and at least one lid, characterized in that it includes at least one device for locking a lid to the receptacle, according to any one of the preceding claims.
