Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zylinder einer Rotations-Druckmaschine, insbesondere einen Transferzylinder, mit einem Mantel aus starrem Material, dessen Mantelfläche einen niedrigen Reibungswert hat, und der mit einem Netz überzogen ist.
- Ein derartiger Zylinder ist in der europäischen Offenlegungsschrift 59 944 beschrieben. Er hat sich an und für sich bewährt, insbesondere wegen des Überzugs aus einem netzartigen Gewebe, wodurch der Kontakt zwischen dem Zylinder und den von den Zylindern zu fördernden Bögen verbessert wird.
- Der bekannte Zylinder besteht aus einem Aluminiummantel, dessen Mantelfläche mit Fluorpolymer beschichtet ist. Dadurch wird der gewünschte niedrige Reibungswert der Mantelfläche erreicht, so daß sich Verschiebungen zwischen dem Netz und dem eigentlichen Zylinder ergeben können.
- Dieser bekannte Zylinder ist in seiner Herstellung aber verhältnismäßig teuer, insbesondere bedingt durch die notwendige Beschichtung des Aluminiumblechs mit dem Kunststoff.
- Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde,einen Zylinder mit den eingangs genannten Merkmalen vorzuschlagen, der bei Beibehaltung der Vorteile des Zylinders, insbesondere niedriger Reibungswert der Zylinder-Mantelfläche und Überzug des Zylinders mit dem Netz, sich durch fühlbar verringerte Herstellungskosten auszeichnet.
- Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe gelingt dadurch, daß der Mantel aus einem Edelstahlblech besteht.
- Man erspart sich somit die aufwendige Herstellung des Zylindermantels aus einem mit einem entsprechend dünnen Material beschichteten Aluminiumblech und verwendet statt dessen ein Edelstahlblech, welches sowohl die notwendige Steifigkeit hat, wie auch den benötigten niedrigen Reibungswert.
- Die Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert, aus dem sich weitere wichtige Merkmale ergeben. Die Figur zeigt schematisch einen Ausschnitt aus einer Abwicklung des Mantels eines erfindungsgemäßen Zylinders.
- Dieser besteht erfindungsgemäß aus einem Edelstahlblech 1 geigneter Stärke (V2A-Stahl), das außen mit einem netzartigen Gewebe 2 überzogen ist, wie es im wesentlichen in der eingangs erwähnten europäischen Offenlegungsschrift 59 944 beschrieben ist.

- Zylinder einer Rotations-Druckmaschine, insbesondere Transferzylinder, mit einem Mantel aus starrem Material, dessen Mantelfläche einen niedrigen Reibungswert hat und der mit einem Netz (2) überzogen ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Mantel aus einem Edelstahlblech (1) besteht.
