Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lamp with a lamp base for hanging on a horizontally extending pair of rods of a folding display with scissor-like rods connected to one another, the lamp base at its rear end having at least one receptacle freely accessible from above for one of the rods of the folding display and on one of them horizontally spaced rod rests in such a way that the lamp is easily detachably attached to the folding display by its weight (US-A-4 142703).
  • Such folding displays basically consist of a linkage that can be folded out of the folded state, in which it can be transported easily and in a space-saving manner, to form the folding display. In the unfolded state, the folding display takes up an entire wall, for example.
  • folding displays are sold by several companies, for example by the applicant under the names "Expostar” and "Expofix”.
  • the lamps are attached to the folding display in an easily detachable manner via a bracket, the receptacles freely accessible from above being formed in the ends of both arms of the bracket.
  • the bracket engages with the receptacles on the rear rods of the rod system and lies on the front of the front rods of the rod system, so that the bracket and its lamp are easily detachably attached to the folding display by the weight.
  • Other types of fastening use the knots of the systems, but this automatically means that the lighting fixture does not sit over the center of the picture, but at the edge of the picture (illumination!).
  • such systems are 1. dependent on the knot (ie product-specific), 2. can only be used for one tube diameter, 3. either unstable or cumbersome to attach, 4. mostly relatively difficult and increasingly expensive.
  • Such folding displays are usually manufactured in two sizes, i.e. using rods with different diameters.
  • the upwardly open receptacles of the known lamp base are, however, only adjusted to one rod diameter, so that a different bracket had to be used for each rod diameter. This made warehousing particularly cumbersome.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a lamp with the features mentioned at the beginning, the lamp foot taking up less space and being distinguished overall by a particularly appealing appearance.
  • One and the same lamp base should possibly also fit folding displays with rods of different strengths.
  • the invention is characterized in that the lamp base has a plate, on the top of which the rear receptacle for the rear rod extending over the width of the plate is formed, and on the underside of which a likewise extending over the width of the plate front seat for the front bar.
  • the lamp base is thus concentrated on a single plate, the width of which is sufficient to give the entire lamp the necessary stability when hanging. This contributes to the fact that not only the backward and upwardly open receptacle already available in the prior art is provided, which, however, is noticeably widened in the lamp base according to the invention, but also the front, open downward receptacle, which likewise contributes to the stabilization of the system .
  • An important embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a second pair of receptacles, namely a further rear receptacle which is freely accessible from above and a further front receptacle which is freely accessible from below, are formed on the plate and have a clear width that is different from the clear one Width of the first pair of recordings is different.
  • This configuration can be improved in that the recordings freely accessible from above intersect and also the recordings freely accessible from below. As a result, the available space on the plate is used particularly well without being unduly weakened.
  • other configurations are also conceivable, for example profiles with step-like depressions for receiving both rod sizes, mutually parallel receiving pairs, etc.
  • the measures of claim 4 ensure that the outlet end of the cable is guided practically to the level of the folding display, without any additional measures.
  • the measures of claim 5 ensure that the lamp is arranged at right angles to the level of the folding display.
  • the lamp base shown is essentially designed as a plate-shaped body 1, on the upper side of which a cube-shaped projection 2 is formed, the roof surface of which slopes towards the rear.
  • the projection 2 serves to receive a tube 3, of which only the approach is shown in the drawing.
  • the tube carries at its other, free end the lamp body of the lamp and the connecting cable is also guided in it, which emerges from the tube 3 adjacent to the projection 2.
  • the plate 1 with its projection 2 is formed in one piece. It is preferably made of metal, but can also consist of a suitable plastic.
  • two receptacles 4, 5 are formed on the rear side thereof, which are freely accessible from above and which form an acute angle with one another.
  • two receptacles 6, 7 are also created on the underside of the plate in their front area, which are freely accessible from below and which also enclose an acute angle with one another.
  • FIG. 3 shows that rods 8.9 of a folding display, which are not shown in the drawing, engage in the receptacles 5, 6, while FIG. 5 shows that 4.7 rods 10, 11 with a larger one are in the other receptacles Intervene diameter.
  • the rods 8, 9 have a diameter of 8 mm, for example, and the rods 10, 11 have a diameter of 12 mm.
