Weiterhin ist es möglich, ausgehend von der Lösung der Fig. 1, auch dort das Raststück 21 wegzulassen, so daß die Stirnfläche 15 des Gleitstücks 3 unmittelbar an der Stirnfläche 43 des Anlenkstücks 20 zur Anlage kommen kann. Claims (6)

  1. Sash stay assembly for a window, a door or the like, having at least one tiltable sash, comprising a main arm 1 which, in the installed position, is pivotally mounted at one end in a bearing block secured to the fixed frame and at the other end on a slider 3, and an additional arm 5 which is pivotally mounted on the main arm 1, at one end, and on a stop member 7, at the other end, the slider 3 and the stop member 7 being disposed, in the installed position, in an undercut mounting groove 9 in a sash frame 11, which is produced from extruded profiles, and the transverse webs 10, defining the width of opening of the mounting groove 9, are engaged from beneath by longitudinal webs 8 of the slider 3 and of the stop member 7, and the slider 3 is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner in the mounting groove 9, while the stop member 7 is either fixedly secured in the mounting groove 9 or is guided also in a longitudinally displaceable manner, and slider 3 and stop member 7 mutually abut each other in the installed position in order to define the width of opening for the extreme tilted position of the sash with their adjacent end faces 15 and 43, means being provided to change the width of opening for the extreme tilted position, and an additional anti-slam device coming into effect in the extreme tilting open position of the sash, which anti-slam device comprises a spring-steel strip 14 provided with resilient tongue and locking projection 17, which detachably engages behind a locking cam 29 on the counterpart, and one of the component parts 3, 7, disposed in the mounting groove 9, is divided into a pivot member 20 and a locking member 21, characterised in that the locking member (21) engages with a neck (23) in the pivot member (20), which is provided with a U-shaped cross-section in at least the coupling region, and abuts against the internal surface (28) of the flange (34), which joins the arms (36) of the "U", and a clamping screw (42) extends through an elongate slot (35) in the flange (34) and is rotated into a threaded bore (24) in the neck (23), so that the locking member (21), which is mounted between pivot member (20) and counterpart (3), is disposed so as to be longitudinally displaceable along the mounting groove (9) and securable on the pivot member (20).
  2. Sash stay assembly according to claim 1, wherein the stop member 7 is fixedly secured in the mounting groove 9, characterised in that the locking member (21) is associated with the pivot member (20) for the additional arm (5) and has an upper portion (22), which communicates with the neck (23) and is provided with a cavity, a locking cam (29) being disposed on the internal surface (28) of each of the lateral walls (25) of the upper portion (22).
  3. Sash stay assembly according to claim 2, characterised in that the locking cam (29) has a triangular cross-section and is provided with an abutting face (30), which faces the slider (3) and is inclined at a small angle, and a retaining face (31), which is subsequently steeply inclined in the opposite direction, for engagement behind of a locking projection (17), which is disposed on the free end of the resilient tongue (16) and has a triangular cross-section and is provided with a correspondingly configured retaining web (18) and an abutting web (19), which forms the free end of the resilient tongue (16).
  4. Sash stay assembly according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that projections (40) are disposed on the internal surface (28) of the flange (34) of the pivot member (20) and on the contact surface (44) of the neck (23) of the locking member (21) so as to engage in recesses (39) in a formand force-locking manner.
  5. Sash stay assembly according to claim 4, characterised in that the recesses (39) are provided in the internal surface (28) of the flange (34) on both sides of the elongate slot (35), and the projections (40), corresponding therewith, are disposed in the region of the threaded bore (24) in the neck (23).
  6. Sash stay assembly according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the locking member (21) is detachably mounted on the pivot member (20), and in that corresponding locking cams (37) for the locking projection (17) of the resilient tongue (16) are additionally disposed in the U-shaped coupling region of the pivot member (20).
