Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß an den in der anderen Maschinenseitenwand gelagerten Zapfen des Zylinders außerhalb und/oder innerhalb dieser Maschinenseitenwand je eine den Zylinder stützende Rolle mit konkaver Mantelfläche anstellbar ist, die in einem drehbar im Maschinengestell angeordneten, in Längsrichtung des Zapfens schwenkbaren Hebel lagert. Mit der bzw. den angeschwenkten Rollen wird der Zylinder zuverlässig allseitig gehalten. Dadurch sind die Voraussetzungen für einen schonenden. Wechsel des Zylindermantels und die Vermeidung von Kantenpressung des Lagers des Zylinders gegeben. Letzteres ermöglicht den Verzicht auf ein Pendellager. Der Hebel 10 ist in einer an der Maschinenseitenwand 5 befestigten Gabel 15 gelagert. Er enthält zu seiner Längenverstellung ein Gewindestück 16 mit Rechts- und Linksgewinde (Fig. 2). Eine weitere, der Rolle 9 gleichende Rolle 17 ist innerhalb der Maschinenseitenwand 5 unter dem Zapfen 3 angeordnet.
