  • a boiler (not shown)provides a steam having a pressure of 5-7kg/cm to pass through a steam pipe 1 and a cone-shaped steam-blowing outlet 2 and to pass, at a high speed, through the zinc-plated steel pipe 3 so as to remove the zinc powder left therein; then, the steam and zinc powder will pass through the cone-shaped steam inlet 4 and the extension pipe 5 and enter a separator 7, whereby the zinc powder is separated and exbausted together with water out of the lower end 8 of the separator, while the steam is exhausted out of the upper end 9 of the separator to enter in a condenser 10; then, the steam will convert into water, which flows, out of a lower outlet 13, into a receiving tank 15.
  • the upper outlet 12 of the condenser 10 is connected with a vacuum pump 14, whereby the air pressure in the pipe system can be maintained at a pressure lower (about 300 torr) than one atmosphere pressure so as to increase efficiency of removing the residual zinc powder in the steel pipe, and to reduce the eddy effect of steam in the pipe system. Since the pressure inside the pipe system is lower at one atmosphere pressure than the ambient atmosphere, the water in the receiving tank 15 has to be exbausted with a water pump 17. In order to maintain a given amount of water in the receiving tank 15 to prevent air from entering the tank 15, a water level controller 16 is installed in the receiving tank 15 for maintaining a given low level.
  • a separator 7 is used for removing the residual zinc powder so as to prevent the zinc powder from blocking the pipe system, and for converting the high speed steam into water, and for reducing the steam-blowing noise below-65 db from a rogue 95-130 db. Under that noise level, the public would not feel any noise.
  • the aforesaid description of the resent invention is deemed much economic and effective method (in comparison with a noise-isolating wall).
  • the present invention can solve the dispute between the factory and the residents in the vicinity of the factory,. By means of using the vacuum pump, the efficiency of removing the residual zinc powder can be increased about 15%, and therefore the noise will be reduced considerably.
