Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for air texturing of threads made of glass fibers, in which the threads are fed to a first delivery unit, from there to a texturing nozzle and then to a second delivery unit. It also relates to a device for carrying out such a method with a first and a second delivery mechanism and a texturing nozzle arranged between the two.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a method of the type mentioned at the outset, with which the threads to be textured can be reliably fed to the texturing nozzle and textured uniformly there, with considerably reduced effort.
- the threads should only be subjected to a slight load, so that the use of auxiliaries can at least largely be dispensed with even in the case of synthetic starting materials.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in a method of the type mentioned at the outset in that the threads are fed separately or in a fan to the first delivery mechanism and in that at least for the region between the inlet of the texturing nozzle and its outlet, a false twist I is applied, which the All of the threads fed are combined into one unit.
- the method according to the invention can also be carried out in such a way that the threads between the texturing nozzle and the second delivery mechanism are guided via a false twist sensor which gives the threads in the area between the first delivery mechanism and the false twister sensor.
- the method according to the invention can also be carried out in such a way that a twist of up to 150 T / m is applied to the yarn in the area of the texturing nozzle.
- a twist of up to 150 T / m is applied to the yarn in the area of the texturing nozzle.
- a reduced rotation of the threads reduces the load on the individual filaments and thus the risk of Breaks reduced.
- the method according to the invention can also be carried out in such a way that the yarn in the area of the texturing nozzle has a Z or an S-turn is given. As a result, a special effect can be achieved on the textured yarn.
- the method according to the invention can also be carried out in such a way that twisted and / or untwisted threads are fed to the first delivery mechanism.
- the textured yarns to be produced can have very special properties, in particular with regard to strength, elongation and volume.
- a device provided for carrying out the method according to the invention is characterized in accordance with the invention in that a false twister is arranged between the texturing nozzle and the second delivery mechanism, the deflection body of which is a twist pin rotatably mounted about its axis, the axis of which is inclined to The direction of transport of the threads runs and its diameter is greater than 4 mm.
- the rotatable bearing of the twist pin avoids friction and thus stress on the individual threads when passing the false twist sensor.
- the threads can be guided in such a way that contact between the turns is avoided when passing through the swirl pin.
- the inclination of the twist pin with respect to the direction of transport of the threads prevents contact between the turns of the yarn when passing through the twist pin and thus also protects the material.
- a diameter of more than 4 mm also enables the processing of relatively brittle materials.
- the device according to the invention can be designed such that the false twister can be adjusted in its distance from the texturing nozzle.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic illustration of the texturing device according to the invention
- FIG. 2 is a plan view of a false twister in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 1st
- three unthreaded threads 1, 2, 3 are fed to a first delivery plant 4 of a conventional type as multi-filaments.
- the threads 1, 2, 3 reach the feed mechanism 4 via an inlet 5 into a texturing nozzle 6, from which they emerge at the outlet 7.
- the threads 1, 2, 3 are then guided via a false twister 9 to a second delivery unit 10 and are drawn off from there in the direction of the arrow 11.
- the texturing nozzle 6 is of a known type. In it the threads 1, 2, 3 are blown up by blowing compressed air in a manner known per se.
- the false twister 9 is provided with a drive, not shown, which rotates the false twister 9 about an axis running in the transport direction. It has a ring 12 in which a swirl pin 13 is held, which is freely rotatable about an axis running diametrically to the ring 12 according to arrow 14. The axis of the twist pin 13 does not run transversely to the direction of transport of the threads, but inclined to it.
- the threads form a loop on the twist pin 13, the beginning and end of which do not touch due to the inclination of the twist pin 13.
- the swirl pin 13 rotates according to the speed of transport of the threads.
- the Relativge ⁇ speed between the outer surface of the swirl pin 13 on the one hand and the threads on the other hand is zero.
- the false twist sensor 9 can be adjusted in its distance from the texturing nozzle 6 in order to be able to adapt the device to the particular circumstances with regard to material and yarn titer.
- the take-off speeds of the delivery mechanisms 4, 10 are coordinated with one another in a known manner in order to take account of the shortening that occurs due to the puffing up of the material.
- the threads 1, 2, 3 are fed to the false twister 9 via the first delivery mechanism 4 and the texturing nozzle 6.
- the threads 1, 2, 3 receive a rotation which is preferably below 100 T / m.
- the threads 1, 2, 3 individually fed to the first delivery mechanism 4 are combined to form a closed unit and as such are drawn into the texturing nozzle 6 at the inlet 5.
- the number of twists per unit length given to the threads is determined depending on the properties of the threads selected. The material properties must also be taken into account and it must be ensured that the number of rotations does not overload any of the materials used.
- the textured yarn leaving the outlet 7 still has the given twists. Due to the known false-wire effect, it has no more rotation after passing the false-twist sensor 9, which results in further bulging.
- Bulkable threads can be processed by the method according to the invention and the device provided therefor.
- the processing of relatively brittle threads e.g. those made of glass fibers, possible because the method and device ensure gentle treatment of these threads.

Abstract
According to an air texturing process of glass fiber yarns (1, 2, 3), the yarns are fed separately to a first feeder (4) and a false twist is imparted to them after passing through a texturing nozzle (6), at least in the region between the inlet and the outlet of the texturing nozzle. A device for implementing the method comprises a false torsion generator (9) arranged between the first supply device (4) and the second supply device (10) and whose deflection body is a torsion rod ( 13) rotatable around its own axis, the axis being able to be tilted in relation to the direction of transport of the wires (1, 2, 3).
