Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a ski binding according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a ski binding is already known and is described in AT-B-389 453. With this ski binding, difficulties arose in assembly and transport, since, on the one hand, handling of the binding proved to be difficult and, on the other hand, only voluminous packaging of the ski binding was possible due to the one-piece design of the connecting element.
There have also been proposed ski bindings in which the connecting element was split (see technical manual from Atomic-Ess 1989/90). However, the division of the connecting element was carried out here only for the purpose of being able to adapt the binding to different shoe sizes. For this reason, one section had a type of toothed strip with which two bolts of the other section flattened on one side could be brought into or out of engagement. However, the cover had to be removed to adjust the ski binding and put back on after the change. It was necessary to use a screwdriver to unlock and lock the bolts.
A similar type of ski binding with a split connecting element is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 DE-A-25 54 384 shown. In this binding, the connecting element consists of two sawtooth-like bands made of a stretch-resistant material, one of which is firmly connected to the toe and the other to the heel holder. The two bands can engage in different locking positions and are held together by a snap part in the engagement position.
The invention has for its object to form a ski binding of the type mentioned in such a way that the connecting element is designed to be divided, but that both sections can be easily, i.e. can be connected without a screwdriver.
Weiters wird die Möglichkeit geschaffen, in Verbindung mit einem einzigen Vorderbacken, Fersenhalter für unterschiedliche Skischuhgruppen (z.B. 36 - 38, 39 - 42, 43 - 46) zu verwenden (Modulbauweise).Starting from a ski binding according to the preamble of claim 1, this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of this claim. The fact that the connection of the two sections by two bolts provided with heads on one section and by keyhole-like recesses in the other section, no tool is required for assembling the ski binding. Furthermore, the possibility is created to use the heel holder for different ski shoe groups (e.g. 36 - 38, 39 - 42, 43 - 46) in connection with a single toe (modular design).
The measure of
As such, the section of the connecting element that carries the heel holder could be made of a flexible material. However, it has proven to be advantageous to design this subsection in the vertical direction according to
The features of
The subject matter of
The features of
Fig.2 ist eine Draufsicht zu Fig.1. In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown. 1 is a vertical longitudinal central section through the ski binding according to the invention, in which the front jaw and the heel holder are only shown schematically. Figure 2 is a top view of Figure 1. 3 shows a detail of FIG. 1 in a vertical longitudinal central section on a larger scale. Fig. 4 is a view of part of the connecting element from below in the assembled state and Fig. 5 in the exploded state. Both last-mentioned figures are also carried out on a larger scale.
In the figures 1 and 2, a ski binding in its entirety is designated by 1. It is attached to the top 2a of a
The connecting
The wider partial area of the
During assembly, the
As can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5, the two front keyhole-
The
It is also possible to provide the second section, which supports the heel holder, at its free end with an angled section which, in the assembled state of the connecting element, engages in a transverse slot in the first section, which carries the toe pieces.
