Definitions
- the invention relates to a ski according to the preamble of claim 1 and claim 2.
- the ski described in AT-PS 362 273 has lateral grooves which are used to adjust and subsequently fix the binding parts or the binding to the ski, but here the binding must be screwed onto the ski by means of clamping jaws, which is cumbersome and time-consuming. There is also the risk that each binding part runs asymmetrically to the vertical plane of symmetry of the ski and is offset relative to this by uneven tightening of the two screws.
- the invention has for its object to eliminate the disadvantages of the known designs and to create a ski in which the ski binding can be fixed in a simple manner without using screws on the ski.
- the ski has the features of claims 3 and 4.
- the subject matter of claim 5 allows the ski binding to be adapted to different shoe sizes and, on the other hand - of course only to a certain extent - also a shift in the shin axis of the user.
- the measure of claim 6 enables the ski binding to be fixed in its central position in a simple manner.
- FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment in the diagram and in an exploded position of the ski and ski binding
- Fig. 2 shows the same representation, but in which the ski binding is already mounted on the ski.
- 3 and 4 are side views, of which FIG. 3 shows the position of the ski binding and ski immediately before assembly and FIG. 4 shows the position assembled position shows.
- 5 and 6 a second embodiment of a ski with a ski binding is shown in the diagram, these figures roughly corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 2 and with the toe and heel holder being omitted.
- a ski 1 is provided with two cheeks 1a, in each of which a groove 1b that is continuous over the entire length of the ski is recessed. In the middle of its length, each of the two grooves 1b is interrupted by a recess 1c which is open towards the top of the ski. Both recesses 1c are arranged symmetrically to the vertical longitudinal center plane of the ski 1. In the middle of the top of the ski 1 there is a blind hole 1d.
- the entire ski binding is labeled 2. It has a front jaw 3 known per se and an also known heel holder 4, which parts are coupled to one another via a connecting element, for example a metal band 5. Both the front jaw 3 and the heel holder 4 are each attached to a slide 6a or 6b. Viewed in cross section, each carriage 6a or 6b has the shape of a U which is open towards the bottom and whose legs 6c 6d have flanges 6d 6f projecting inwards at their ends. The thickness of these flanges 6d 6f is equal to or less than the width of the grooves 1b in the cheeks 1a.
- the distance a between the two flanges 6d 6f corresponds to the width b of the top of the ski 1 in the region of the two recesses 1c.
- On the connecting element 5 is an intermediate part 7 which carries a pin 8 projecting downwards.
- the intermediate part 7 has a dovetail groove 7a on its underside for receiving the connecting element 5.
- the two parts 1 and 2 assume the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, respectively.
- the heel holder 4 is then pressed onto the ski 1, the two flanges 6d of its slide 6b being aligned with the grooves 1b in the ski 1. Then the heel holder 4 is moved towards the end of the ski.
- the connecting element 5 bends.
- the carriage 6a of the toe piece 3 is located above the two recesses 1c in the ski 1, the toe piece 3 is pressed against the ski 1.
- the connecting element 5 bends again and the pin 8 of the intermediate part 7 bears against the top of the ski 1.
- the ski binding 2 is shifted towards the ski tip.
- the pin 8 of the intermediate part 7 slides along the top of the ski 1. As soon as the pin 8 engages in the blind hole 1d of the ski 1, the ski binding 2 is fixed relative to the ski 1.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 The second embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 is similar to the first. The same parts are therefore provided with the same reference numbers, which, however, have a line to distinguish them.
- the ski 1 ' has no continuous grooves on its cheeks 1'a, but it are recessed in each cheek 1'a two grooves 10 and 11, between which there is a groove-free section of the ski 1 '. Furthermore, two upwardly open recesses 12a, 12b or 13a and 13b in the ski 1 'are recessed, which recesses have different lengths.
- the connecting element consists of two flat approaches 14 and 15 with a dovetail cross-section, which are formed in one piece with the associated slides 6'a and 6'b are firmly connected and which are guided in dovetail grooves 16a, 16b of the intermediate part 7 '.
- the intermediate part 7 ' is a known and the overview because of not shown locking device which allows locking of the two approaches 14 and 15 against each other and with respect to the intermediate part 7'. This allows the ski binding 2 'to be adapted to different shoe sizes.
- each carriage 6'a, 6'b does not have a U-shaped cross section over its entire length, but only in zei sections 17a, 17b and 18a, 18b, which sections the length of the recesses 12a, 12b and 13a , 13b in ski 1 'correspond. This makes it possible to put on the ski binding 2 'in the central region of the ski 1'.
- This formation of a ski binding 2 ' has the advantage that it is not only easily adapted to the size of a ski boot can be, but by using a known adjustment device for the pin also a shift of the shin axis of the user is possible to a certain extent.
- Another advantage is that the connecting element formed by the two approaches 14 and 15 does not have to be bent during the assembly of the ski binding 2 '.
- the adjustment of the two carriages 6'a, 6'b is very small, as is clear from Fig. 6.
- the invention is not tied to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing and described above. Rather, various modifications are possible without leaving the scope of the invention. For example, it would be possible to line the grooves with U-profiles, which are anchored in the cheeks of the ski. Furthermore, one or two grooves with a T-cross section can be in the intermediate part be recessed in or in which the connecting element with a T-shaped cross section or the two approaches are performed. The pin according to the first embodiment can also be attached directly to the connecting element.

Description
The invention relates to a ski according to the preamble of
Such a ski is already known and is described in US Pat. No. 3,314,687. In this ski, a guide rail is attached to its top, which leads to local stiffening of the ski and prevents the ski from bending when driving through hollows.
The ski described in AT-PS 362 273 has lateral grooves which are used to adjust and subsequently fix the binding parts or the binding to the ski, but here the binding must be screwed onto the ski by means of clamping jaws, which is cumbersome and time-consuming. There is also the risk that each binding part runs asymmetrically to the vertical plane of symmetry of the ski and is offset relative to this by uneven tightening of the two screws.
The invention has for its object to eliminate the disadvantages of the known designs and to create a ski in which the ski binding can be fixed in a simple manner without using screws on the ski.
Starting from a ski according to the preamble of
As such, it would be possible to run the grooves over the entire length of the ski. However, this would make putting on the ski binding more difficult. In order to make it easier to assemble the ski binding, the ski has the features of
On the one hand, the subject matter of
The measure of claim 6 enables the ski binding to be fixed in its central position in a simple manner.
Finally, the subject matter of
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment in the diagram and in an exploded position of the ski and ski binding and Fig. 2 shows the same representation, but in which the ski binding is already mounted on the ski. 3 and 4 are side views, of which FIG. 3 shows the position of the ski binding and ski immediately before assembly and FIG. 4 shows the position assembled position shows. 5 and 6, a second embodiment of a ski with a ski binding is shown in the diagram, these figures roughly corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 2 and with the toe and heel holder being omitted.
The entire ski binding is labeled 2. It has a
Immediately before the ski binding 2 is mounted on the
The second embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 is similar to the first. The same parts are therefore provided with the same reference numbers, which, however, have a line to distinguish them.
In contrast to the first embodiment, the ski 1 'has no continuous grooves on its cheeks 1'a, but it are recessed in each cheek 1'a two
Another difference is that in the ski binding 2 'there is no continuous connecting element, but that the connecting element consists of two
Of course, each carriage 6'a, 6'b does not have a U-shaped cross section over its entire length, but only in
This formation of a ski binding 2 'has the advantage that it is not only easily adapted to the size of a ski boot can be, but by using a known adjustment device for the pin also a shift of the shin axis of the user is possible to a certain extent. Another advantage is that the connecting element formed by the two
The invention is not tied to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing and described above.
