Skibindung mit einem Vorderbacken und einem Fersen¬ halter sowie mit einem Verbindungselement, welches sich zwi¬ schen dem Vorderbacken und dem Fersenhalter erstreckt, wobei der Fersenhalter am hinteren Ende des Verbindungselementes angeordnet ist und im montierten Zustand der Skibindung in einer auf dem Ski mittels Schrauben befestigten Führungs¬ schiene gleitbeweglich geführt ist, wobei in diesem Zustand der Vorderbackeni mittels Schrauben unmittelbar auf der Ober¬ seite des Ski befestigt ist und wobei das Verbindungselement zwischen dem Vorderbacken und dem Fersenhalter mit einer Um¬ mantelung aus Kunststoff aterial versehen ist, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, daß die Ummantelung (8) eine in Längsrichtung der Skibindung (1) verlaufende Ausnehmung (8a) aufweist, und daß das Verbindungselement (3) in an sich bekannter Weise in zwei Teilabschnitte (3a,3b) geteilt ist, wobei der (zweite) den Fersenhalter (5) tragende Teilabschnitt (3b) in der Aus¬ nehmung (8a) festlegbar ist und wobei der (erste) dem Vorder¬ backen (4) zugeordnete Teilabschnitt (3a) zwei mit Köpfen (9a) versehene Bolzen (9) trägt, welche mit zwei schlüssel- lochartigen Aussparungen (10), die in dem (zweiten) den Fersenhalter (5) tragenden Teilabschnitt (3b) ausgebildet sind, in Eingriff bringbar sind.1.
