- the circumferential threads can be formed from a material of higher tensile strength (for example from carbon fibers) than the longitudinal threads, which can consist of a polyamide, for example, as before.
- the thread diameter of the circumferential threads according to the invention should only be approximately 1/4000 to 1/1000 (in special cases up to 1/500) of the outer diameter of the press jacket. If, on the other hand, the press jacket is to be used as a laterally open press belt loop (according to FIG. 5 of US Pat. The result is that relatively thin layers of material overlap each other.
