Definitions

  • the invention relates to a package with a casing consisting of a single-layer or multilayer packaging film, which has two essentially perpendicular strip-shaped doubling areas, in each of which two strip-shaped edge zones of the packaging film on the surfaces normally facing the packaging material by a releasable seal, in particular by a cold seal, which are connected to one another and therefore emanate from the packing envelope in a fin-like manner, and one of the doubling areas at its end crosses the second doubling area, the seal connection at least one of the doubling areas being separated for opening the pack.
  • the packs according to the invention are preferably, but not exclusively, as tubular bag packs or bag packs, e.g. B. used for baked goods.
  • a tubular bag pack of this type which is used in particular for packaging chocolate tafa, is known from DE-A 24 58 462.
  • the doubling area to be separated here is the longitudinal sealing seam, which lies in particular on a division notch of the chocolate bar on the rear side of the packaging envelope facing away from this notch.
  • the chocolate bar is bent at this division notch so that the longitudinal sealing seam comes to rest on the outside of the crease.
  • the two edges of the packaging material which are connected to one another in the longitudinal sealing seam are peeled off from the inside of the package as the seal connection is broken, with progressive kinking of the package, and finally open up an opening in the package envelope.
  • the invention is based on the object of creating a pack of the type mentioned, in which there is a simple and safe opening possibility with little additional effort and without the need to kink the pack.
  • the object on which the invention is based is achieved in the pack according to the invention, which is characterized in that the one doubling region which is crossed on one side by the end of the second doubling region, preferably on its other side at or at least in the immediate vicinity of the location of this crossing a handle for breaking the sealing connection of said one doubling area is provided.
  • the handle can advantageously be formed by the end of a fold in the packaging material starting from the surface of the packaging envelope, or the sealing connection of said one doubling area can be at least at a point from the free doubling area edge at a distance of more than 3 mm, with an edge zone there the packaging material location of the doubling area forms the handle mentioned.
  • said handle made of flat material and with a position of the doubling area, the sealing connection of which is broken when the package is opened, is connected by gluing or welding.
  • the pack according to the invention is a tubular bag pack or bag pack, in which the doubling area to be opened when the pack is opened is that of a transverse bag sealing seam and the other doubling area is that of the longitudinal bag sealing seam, the doubling area of the transverse sealing seam pointing towards the longitudinal sealing seam
  • said handle made of flat material is an adhesive label which, within the area with which it extends beyond the free edge of the transverse sealing seam doubling area, with a zone of the packaging envelope lying outside this doubling area by means of a detachable adhesive or seal connected is.
  • the adhesive label is connected within the area with which it extends beyond the free edge of the transverse sealing seam doubling area to that side of the pack surface along which the longitudinal bag sealing seam extends and / or the adhesive label is advantageously not in an edge area with the pack - Surface connected and forms the handle end of the handle.
  • the pack according to the invention is characterized in that it is a tubular bag pack or bag pack, in which the doubling area to be opened when the pack is opened is that of a transverse bag sealing seam and the other doubling area that is the longitudinal bag sealing seam is that the doubling area of the transverse sealing seam is on the End of the package is turned over and there with the Packing envelope, in particular glued or sealed, and that the uppermost packaging material layer of the transverse sealing seam doubling area has the handle mentioned.
  • the package according to the invention is characterized in that it is a tubular bag package with two mutually parallel strip-shaped doubling areas designed as fin seams, two opposite ends of which form the two opening handles, that the tubular bag package cover has two different packaging film pieces, which are connected to one another at their edges via the strip-shaped doubling areas designed as fin seams, and that one of the pieces of packaging film may consist of a transparent material.
  • Fig. 1 shows a partial perspective view
  • Fig. 2 is a sectional view according to lines II-II in Fig. 1 of a tubular bag package, such as can be used for example for baked goods.
  • the pack has - as is usual with tubular bag packs - a fin 1 (see FIG. 2) and a fin 2 running at both ends at right angles to the fin 1.
  • the fin 1 or the fin 2 in this case form, in general, mutually perpendicular packaging film doubling areas, in each of which two strip-shaped edge zones of the packaging film form on the surface area normally facing the packaged goods 3 (see FIG. 2) a cold seal are connected.
  • the doubling area forming the fin 1 crosses at its end 4 the doubling area forming the fin 2.
  • the fin 1 is folded over onto the casing surface 5 (FIG. 2).
  • the variant of the package according to the invention described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 now has a fold 6 in the packaging film which extends from the envelope surface 5 and which - running approximately symmetrically to the fin 1 - is arranged on the side of the package envelope opposite the fin 1 and which crosses the fin 2 with its end 7 and lies opposite the end 4 of the fin 1 there.
  • the fin 1 and the fold 6 are turned over in opposite directions on the surfaces of the fin 2 in question, so that the fin 1 and the fold 6 do not lie one above the other in the region of the fin 2.
  • a three-layer packaging film is used, which - starting from the outside of the package - in the following order from an OPP film with a thickness of 12-20 »m, a 7-9» m thick aluminum film and a bleached kraft paper a grammage of 40 - 60 g / m2.
  • the free paper side is coated with a cold adhesive coating applied in the profile as a sealing medium layer based on latex (3 - 7 g / m2 solid).
  • the total thickness of this composite material is 70 - 100 »m, depending on the choice of the composite partner.
  • the packaging film which is in the form of an endless web, is pulled off the roll in the packaging machine and for the continuous formation of the fold 6 the two packaging material zones forming the doubling region of the fold 6 are connected to one another over the whole or part of the fold width by sealing profile sealing layers present at these points , after which the fold 6 is folded over the surface of the packaging film web.
  • the packaging material web 1 thus provided with the fold 6 in the longitudinal direction of the web is now in the usual way around the successively supplied packaging material units - e.g. Permanent baked goods such as biscuits or waffles taken up in trays - continuously turned over and, by connecting the lateral edge zones of the packaging film web to one another by means of a longitudinal sealing seam, the fin 1 is formed, which is then turned over onto the surface of the packaging film tube formed in this way.
  • This packaging film tube is then folded in each case between two successive packaged goods units in the direction of arrows 8 to form opposing gussets, squeezed off with two transverse sealing seams running parallel to one another and divided into individual tube packages by separating cuts between the two transverse sealing seams.
  • the edge regions of the packaging material which are connected to one another by the transverse sealing seams form the fins 2 with the doubling zones 9 resulting from the gusset formation.
  • the edges of the transverse sealing seam are indicated by the lines 10.
  • Fig. 3 shows the pack in a representation of the type of Fig. 1, but now during the opening process.
  • To open the pack first grasp the ends 4 and 7 of the fin 1 or the fold 6 with both hands and bend them in the direction of the arrows 11 and 12 (see FIG. 1) and then, as illustrated in FIG. 3, pulled apart in the direction of arrows 13 and 14 respectively.
  • the (transverse) sealing seam of fin 2 is peeled over part of its length from the center of the fin, but is also completely peeled off if necessary.
  • Packaging material can then be removed through the opening thus created. Thereafter, it is possible to glue the packaging film edges separated from one another when the package is opened in the fin 2 by simply pressing them together, and thus to temporarily seal the package again.
  • half of the package cover consists of a transparent material.
  • Two different packaging film webs are used for the production of this pack, which have cold-adhesive coatings applied to the inside of their profile, and one of which consists of a transparent material.
  • the two packaging film webs are now continuously fed to the packaging machine lying against one another and are connected to one another at an edge over a strip-shaped edge region by producing a longitudinal sealing seam.
  • both packaging film webs are unfolded hard at the edge of the longitudinal sealing seam, so that they then come to rest with their inner sides down and together form a combined packaging film web which now has a longitudinal sealing seam on one surface instead of the fold 6 according to FIG. 1 .
  • a tubular bag pack is then produced as usual, but which now has two fin-like longitudinal sealing seams, which are opposite one another at the doubling area 2 (see FIG. 1) and, similar to the fold 6 and the fin 1 according to FIG. 3, are handled at their ends serve to open the package.
  • the material for the opaque packaging film web is e.g. the same three-layer packaging film as e.g. was also used in the pack according to FIGS. 1 to 3.
  • Packaging films are used as transparent packaging material, e.g. can consist of a 50 »m thick OPP monofilm or also consist of composite foils e.g. - in each case from the outside to the inside - from 12 »m PET and 60» m PE or 20 »m PA and 40» m PE, the PE layer being produced by melt extrusion or by film lamination.
  • FIG. 4 shows a perspective partial view of a tubular bag pack before final closure, which, similar to the pack according to Fig. 1, and as is customary with tubular bag packs, a packing envelope with a fin 1 produced by a longitudinal seal seam and two by manufacture of fins 2 produced by transverse sealing seams on the packaging film tube and the subdivision into individual packs.
  • the end 7 of which forms one of the two handles for opening the pack but it is, for example, on the surface side opposite the end 4 of the fin 1 and this end 4 of the fin 1, an adhesive label 15 is glued on opposite side as a handle in area 16.
  • This adhesive label consists, for example, of a flat material provided on one side with a self-adhesive coating, for example made of paper coated with PE or a plastic film with a total thickness of approximately 70-100 »m approximately corresponding to the thickness of the sleeve material, as in the example described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
  • a self-adhesive coating for example made of paper coated with PE or a plastic film with a total thickness of approximately 70-100 »m approximately corresponding to the thickness of the sleeve material, as in the example described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
  • the adhesive coating is covered by a layer of lacquer.
  • the fin 2 is attached with the attached adhesive label 15 in the direction of arrow 18, i.e. turned over to the fin 1 towards the end of the pack 19, after which adhesive labels 15 are connected to that side of the pack surface 21 (see FIG. 5) along which the fin 1 extends.
  • the adhesive label 15 is gripped at the edge region 17, which protrudes slightly in the manner of a tab, and is pulled upwards in the direction of the arrow 22, the adhesive label 15 being peeled off the side of the package surface 21 and the fin 2 being raised again, so that a configuration such as shown in Fig. 4.
  • the end 4 of the fin 1 is now bent in the direction of the arrow 23 (FIG. 4).
  • This bent up Fin end 4 is now gripped with one hand and the edge region 17 of the adhesive label with the other hand and both are pulled apart in the direction of arrows 24, 25 (see FIG. 6).
  • the package described above with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6 can be temporarily resealed: you only have to fold the material of the fin 2 together, fold the fin 2 onto the end of the package 19 and fasten the area 20 of the adhesive label 15 on the surface 21 of the package again by simply pressing it on .
  • hot melt points 32 were attached to the fin 2 by applying hot hot melt material. Immediately thereafter, the fin 2 is folded over with the adhesive label 15 and its area 20 is connected to the pack surface 21. After the hot melt material has solidified, an adhesive bond is produced between the fin 2 and the end of the pack 19. To open this pack, only touch the edge zone 17 of the adhesive label 15 and pull upwards. Although not shown in a particular figure, it is clear that the packaging material layer of the fin 2 which is glued to the end of the pack 19 remains behind and the sealing connection of the fin 2 is thereby broken. With a suitable dimensioning of the hot-melt point connection, it can be achieved that it also separates when the adhesive label is pulled up further and the package is completely opened in this way.
  • This variant has the advantage that only one hand is required for manipulation to open the package.
  • FIG. 7 shows the pack during the opening process in a representation analogous to FIG. 6.
  • the packaging material layer 27 of the doubling area of the fin 2, which lies opposite the end 4 of the fin 1 has a sealing medium layer 28, which has a recess 29 within which the sealing medium layer 28 is at a greater distance from the packaging material edge 30.
  • the package is closed, the two packaging material layers of the fin 2 gap slightly at the location of the recess 29, so that the packaging material layer 27 can be handled here without any problems.
  • the package is opened by pulling on the packaging material layer 27 or at the end 4 of the fin 1 in the direction of the arrows 24 and 31, with the sealing connection of the fin 2 being separated.
  • the pack according to the invention can primarily be used as a pack for foods such as chocolates or baked goods which are optionally gastight or which are advantageously tubular bag packs or bag packs.
  • their commercial usability is not limited to packs for solid packaging goods.
