Abstract

The invention relates to a method for impregnating moving textile sheet materials such as woven or knitted materials or the like with treatment fluids for desizing, scouring, bleaching or the like and apparatus for carrying out said method and has the purpose of simplifying the process of impregnating the material with chemicals in order thereby to achieve processing and equipment improvements and savings. Verfahren zum Imprägnieren von laufenden Textilbahnen, wie Gewebe- oder Gewirkebahnen oder dergl. mit Behandlungsflüssigkeiten zum Entschlichten, Abkochen, Bleichen oder dergl., dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Warenbahnen in eine Dampfbehandlung eingeführt und erst nach dem Eintritt in die Dampfbehandlung bei gebundener Warenführung mit der Behandlungsflüssigkeit in langer Flotte imprägniert werden, wobei die Dampfbehandlung bis zum Austritt der Warenbahnen aus der Dampfbehandlung fortgesetzt wird.1.
