Description

The invention relates to a ceiling covering made of plates which are removable and fastened in retaining brackets, two front pivot bearings being provided for a panel for a first retaining bracket running parallel to the end face of the panel, which can be releasably clamped to the bracket at any point.

Ceiling panels of the type mentioned above are known from FR-A1-26 27 206. With these ceiling panels hinge joints are attached to the inside of the panels, which can be inserted into the support bracket. These joints can be fixed on the support beams in two positions, namely in a lowered position, which allows a certain access to the space above the plate 1, and a raised position. Difficulties with these plates are to subsequently solve them again, since access to the catches in the support bracket is extremely limited.

Ceiling cladding of this type must be easy to assemble plate by plate and be dismantled again. For this purpose, it is known to provide the plates with locking elements which rest on the support brackets or rest resiliently in the support brackets and thus ensure the secure hold of the plates. For a safe suspension the plates must have a sufficient locking force at each individual locking.

Although the panels can be inserted into the ceiling cladding relatively easily in this way, the arrangement presents problems when the panels are to be removed again. Because of the relatively strong detent, considerable effort is required to remove the plates together with their detent elements from their counterparts on the support bracket; this is especially true when a plate is surrounded on all sides by plates that have not yet been removed, because then there is not enough surface to attack.

Another problem is that the known suspensions, which consist of holding rails which are arranged at equidistant intervals, require very specific plate dimensions both in width and in length, i.e. a certain grid dimension is required here.

The invention has for its object to design ceiling cladding of the type mentioned in such a way that on the one hand the installation and removal of the individual panels is made considerably easier and on the other hand panels of different widths, i.e. can be hung in the suspension with a different grid dimension.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims in conjunction with the drawings and the description.

According to the invention, the ceiling cladding requires holding brackets which are arranged parallel to one another only at certain intervals, the plates being attachable to the holding brackets via swivel bearings which are arranged on the sides of the plates and via latching elements which are arranged in the region of the opposite end face of the plate . The pivot bearings are advantageously held in the support brackets by spring action, which can be attached anywhere along the support bracket. A displacement of the pivot bearing along the support bracket is still possible. Axial bearings are arranged on these pivot bearings, which in the outside of the Intervene plate. The thickness of the axle bearings corresponds to the width of the joints between the panels. They therefore also take on the fixing of the joint width, which is necessary for a visually perfect installation. A resilient latching element is advantageously arranged on the opposite side.

To fasten the plates, the swivel bearings on one side only need to be snapped into the holding brackets, whereupon the plates with their side parts are then pushed onto the axis. As a result, the plate is kept hanging vertically in the open state.

To close the plate, it only needs to be folded upwards about its axes and the latching elements on the opposite end face have to be snapped into the holding supports. Cross members are not required to secure the panels. It is thus possible to arrange panels with different widths next to one another on the support beams.

The design according to the invention does not require a fixed ceiling grid. Rather, the ceiling cladding can form a rectangular to square grid that is variable in terms of division and field size and can also be variable in the same ceiling. The support brackets are uniform and do not have to be designed in a grid-specific manner. Crossbeams at right angles to them for conveying the ceiling suspension are not required to hold the panels; the support brackets are attached directly to the ceiling in any way.

According to the invention, it is also particularly favorable to produce the support beams from a U-like profile. The pivot bearing can on a web plate, which is extends from the belt plate upwards, and forms one leg of the U-profile, are hung. The advantage is that pivoted bearings mounted in this way can be moved and positioned as desired along the support bracket, so that a wide variety of cassette or plate widths can be provided. Furthermore, the manufacture of the ceiling covering according to the invention is greatly simplified, since both the support beams and the pivot bearings can be of particularly simple design.

In a further exemplary embodiment it is provided that the latching element comprises a spring tongue which extends from the corresponding end wall of the plate in the direction of the holding carrier. When the plate is swiveled up, it is only necessary to move the spring tongue past the wall of the support bracket by bending it back, as soon as the plate has reached the horizontal installation position, the spring tongue snaps over the respective web plate of the support bracket and causes the plate to be held securely. By inserting a narrow tool between the edge of the plate and the holding supports, it is possible in a particularly simple manner to bend the spring tongue back in order to pivot the plate downward, for example for maintenance work. It is particularly favorable that the locking element is very simple and inexpensive.

Gemäß Fig. 1 befinden sich zwischen den etwa in Plattenlänge angeordneten Halteträgern 1 Platten 2, die in den Halteträgern 1 an ihrer linken Stirnseite in Schwenklagerungen 3 so gelagert sind, daß die Platte 2a nach der Lösung einer Rastung 4 in die Stellung der Platte 2b abgeschwenkt werden kann.1 are between the approximately in plate length arranged support beams 1 plates 2, which are mounted in the support beams 1 on their left end in pivot bearings 3 so that the plate 2a is pivoted into the position of the plate 2b after releasing a catch 4 can be.

The support beam 1 is a folded profile, the cross section and individual parts can be better seen in FIG. 2. A belt plate 11 is rigidly connected to two web plates 12, 13 along the entire length of the support bracket 1, which bear against the belt plate 11 with bent intermediate plates 121, 131 in the manner shown.

In addition to the intermediate plate 121, the web plate 12 also has a latching strip 122 which is bent to the right or left at the free end of the web plate 12.

The web plate 13 is connected in the region of the belt plate 11 in mirror image to the web plate 12 and in the same way to the belt plate 11 via the intermediate plate 131.

It is bent at its free end to a shorter height than the web plate 12 into a clamping strip 132 which is directed towards the web plate 12 and forms an angle α with the web plate 13 which is less than 90 ° and is suitable for introducing the pivot bearing 3. With its free end, the terminal strip 132 is again folded into an edge strip 133 which forms the acute angle β with the first web plate 12.

The pivot bearing 3, a short piece of sheet metal, consists of a longitudinal piece 31 (Fig. 1) and a sheet metal bracket 32, which can be folded on both the right and left, so that there are consequently a right and a left version of the pivot bearing 3. A recess 321 forms first bearing for an axle pin 33; accordingly, corresponding recesses 211 are provided in the side cheeks 21 of the plate 2 (FIG. 1) for the same purpose. This ensures that the plate 2 can be easily rotated about the axle bolt 33. The details of the axle support are customary and not shown in the drawing. It can easily be seen that the plate 2 can be detached from the pivot bearings 3 without force or inserted into them again.

The longitudinal piece 31 (Fig. 2b) is a folded profile and integrally composed of a vertical support plate 311, a subsequent clamping plate 312 and a final stop plate 313, which is perpendicular to the support plate 311, and on which the sheet metal tab 32 is bent. The clamping plate 312 receives - also stiffening - a clamping rib 314. The clamping rib 314 and the clamping strip 132 hold the pivot bearing 3 in the support bracket 1. The suspension of the terminal block 132 also allows the pivot bearing 3 to be released. It can therefore be attached as desired to the holding supports 1, which does not require any aids for this.

The easy displaceability of the pivot bearing 3, including the sheet metal bracket 32, makes it possible to use the distance visible in FIG. 1 between two adjacent pivot bearings, as in FIG. 3 or FIG. 4, by spacers 5 fixed in thickness in order to divide the grid of the plates 2 vary to a certain extent. These spacers 5, together with the thickness of the sheet metal tabs 32, determine the distance of the joints of the plates 2 arranged next to one another. This makes it possible to provide the support bracket 1 with the same grid spacing Limit the number of plates 2 to a certain extent; irregularities can also be easily compensated for.

Ein der Rastleiste 122 etwa flächenparalleles Zwischenstück verbindet die Ablaufschrägen 411, 412 miteinander und sorgt für ihren Anschlag an der Rastleiste oben für die ordentliche Orientierung der Platte 2.The locking element 4, which is rigidly fastened in an end face 22 of the plate 2, is parallel to the longitudinal beam 1 in its parts which do not rest against the plate 2. A resilient retaining plate 41 located on the latching element 4 around its clamping end, together with the latching guide 122, causes the latching of the plate 2. Two tapered edges 411, 412 are directed in such a way that the retaining plate is pivoted counterclockwise when the plate 2 is pivoted in by the latching strip 122. This movement is triggered by the taper 411 before the plate 2 is engaged; the run-off slope 412 takes effect when the plate 2 is moved further out of its catch against the removal direction. An intermediate piece approximately parallel to the surface of the locking bar 122 connects the run-off bevels 411, 412 to one another and ensures their stop on the locking bar at the top for the proper orientation of the plate 2.

In addition to the holding plate 41, a locking plate 42 is bent from the locking element 4, which has a clamping strip 421 at its upper end approximately at the level of the intermediate piece of the holding plate 41, which is directed towards the holding plate 41. The comparison of FIGS. 2a and 2b shows the locking effect of the locking plate 42 for the holding plate 41. If the holding plate 41 is pivoted sufficiently counterclockwise under the influence of the taper 412, the intermediate piece 413 comes under the clamping strips 421. The arrangement is such that this happens precisely when, when the plate 2 on the left in FIG. 2 is pivoted, the distance between the intermediate piece 413 and the locking bar 122 is sufficient for the locking element no longer to prevent the pivoting.

In this embodiment, the support bracket 1 consists of a U-like profile, which comprises a horizontally arranged belt plate 511, on the side edges of which a web plate 512, 513 extends as free, upwardly pointing legs. The free ends of the web plates 512, 513 are folded inwards to form a horizontal support surface 517. The support bracket 1 has a symmetrical structure, so that the plates 2 can be hung in any way. A support surface 611 provided at right angles to the web plates 512, 513 serves to support the pivot bearing 503 for good stability and to achieve an exact ceiling level.

Otherwise, the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 5 to 11 corresponds in its function and basic configuration to the exemplary embodiment described above, so that a detailed description of all the individual features can be dispensed with.

A sheet metal bracket 515 is provided to form a pivot bearing 503, which is bent in a U-shape and can be hung over the support surface 517, as is shown in particular in FIG. 8. A free end 516 of the sheet metal tab 515 is bent at right angles to it and, as shown in FIG. 9, has a recess 514 through which a thru-axle can be pushed. In addition, the free end is profiled in order to form and fix a gap between adjacent panels 2. As shown in particular in FIG. 5, two adjacent plates 2 can each be mounted on a pivot bearing 503.

Durch Einführung eines schmalen Werkzeuges kann die Federzunge 520 zurückgebogen werden, so daß die Platte 2 nach unten verschwenkbar ist.FIG. 8 shows two different states, namely in the right part of the figure the assembled state of a plate 2, while in the left part of the plate 2 can be seen in a mounting state pivoted downwards. As described with reference to the previous exemplary embodiment, the plate 2 is provided with a side cheek 521 which interacts with the pivot bearing 503 and has an end face 522 on which latching elements 504 are mounted. The end face 522 is folded inwards so that a horizontally extending retaining lip 518 is formed. A spring clip-like base part 519 of the locking element 504 is plugged onto this, as is shown in FIGS. 11 and 8. The base part 519 is profiled in a corresponding manner and / or provided with barbs in order to prevent slipping. On the upper area of the base part 519, a spring tongue 520 is provided which is formed integrally therewith and which, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 11, is directed away from the end face 522 in a spring-like manner. In the non-fully loaded state, the spring tongue 520 thus extends over the bearing surface 517 of the web plate 512 and leads to a secure anchoring of the plate 2 in the assembled state. The spring tongue 520 can be bent back by introducing a narrow tool, so that the plate 2 can be pivoted downwards.

The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiment described. In particular, the structural design of the four main assemblies involved can be changed within the scope of the claims without departing from the invention.
