- Device for implementing the process according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it consists essentially of a machine (3) for the continuous or batch expansion moulding of synthetic material, whose mould (4) is provided at its rear end with at least one sealed opening (5) for the insertion of at least one longitudinal profiled member (2), of means (6) for the insertion of the profiled member or members (2) into the mould (4) and, optionally, of a device (7) for the continuous production of profiled members.
- Device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the means (6) for inserting the profiled member or members (2) into the mould (4) advantageously takes the form of a movable carriage (8) mounted so as to slide, in the longitudinal direction, on the frame of the moulding machine (3) by means of at least one movement ram (9) and is provided, at its end opposite the said machine (3), with a crosspiece (10) for holding the profiled member or members (2).
- Device according to Claim 5, characterised in that the profiled members (2) are held either by one or more housings formed on the crosspiece (10), or by grippers (11), open in the longitudinal direction and actuated by rams (12).
- Device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the device (7) for the continuous production of profiled members (2) advantageously takes the form of either a continuous or batch sheet-metal bending press, or an injection press.
- Device according to Claim 7, characterised in that the device (7) is provided, at the discharge for profiled members (2), with a device (13) for delivering the said profiled members (2) at the desired length.
- Hourdisstones obtained by implementing the process according to any one of Claims 1 to 3 by means of a device according to any one of Claims 4 to 8, characterised in that they are formed from a moulded expanded synthetic material and are provided with at least one longitudinal profiled member (2) integrated into their mass during moulding.
