Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plug switch with at least one snap switch mounted on a plug base, consisting of a connecting pin and an elongated U-bracket with legs of different lengths, on which both a contactor and an auxiliary actuator are mounted in cutting edge bearings, which have one on both Interact parts of the tension spring to make contact.
  • Switches with snap mechanisms are known per se.
  • a snap switch is known from DE-PS 29 28 214, in which a plunger acts on the free end of an auxiliary actuator, which is rotatably mounted in the housing and is connected to the contactor via a tension spring, this tension spring depending on the Position of the auxiliary actuator pulls the contactor into one or the other contact position.
  • the contactor is pivotally mounted in a contact bearing provided with a connecting pin, a cutting edge bearing being used.
  • a snap switch presents difficulties in assembly if pre-assembly is required in such a way that the actual snap switch is to be installed in a housing in the pre-assembled state. This is all the more the case when high tightness requirements are imposed and the switch is to be mounted in a cylindrical housing only on an end housing part.
  • snap switches are designed as plug-in switches for easy mounting, in which the actual snap switch is accommodated in a moisture-tight manner and can be operated from the outside.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a plug switch in the housing of which a snap switch is moisture-proof and which enables automatic assembly after automatic pre-assembly of the actual snap switch, the connecting pins of the snap switch also being used as plug pins in the plug switch.
  • a further embodiment provides that the contact piece interacting with the contactor, with its connecting pin also provided with a locking wing, runs parallel to the connecting pin of the contact bearing through the plug base and is fixed in this with a locking wing by twisting.
  • the connector base is provided with a platform-like extension, on which the contact bearing is fitted against the base part of the connector base.
  • the plug base with the mounted snap switch can be inserted at the end into a cylindrical housing and locked with it, with a plunger mounted in the housing opposite the plug base engaging an extension of the auxiliary actuator to actuate the snap switch.
  • a pre-assembly of the snap switch on the plug base is possible in a simple manner in that the contact bearing is first fixed in the plug base with the connecting pin and by rotating the council wing in the latter. After inserting the contactor on the short leg of the U-bracket, the tension spring hooked into the contactor is hooked into the contactor and the auxiliary actuator that was previously inserted into the cutting bearing on the long leg. In this arrangement, the auxiliary actuator rests on the short leg and is pressed against it by the tension spring, so that the preassembled snap switch is in a stable position.
  • a special embodiment of the invention provides that two snap switches are arranged side by side in the connector base, the contact bearing of which is formed in one piece and fixed in the connector base with a common connecting pin. Accordingly, two plungers are located side by side in the housing arranged, which carry a sealing sleeve welded in the housing.
  • the measure of the invention provides a very advantageous structure for a plug switch which can be assembled in the simplest way.
  • a plug switch 10 which consists of a plug base 11 with a snap switch 14 fixed thereon and is accommodated in a housing 12.
  • the plug base 11 with the snap switch 14 is inserted on the end face into the housing 12, which too This purpose is expanded like a sleeve and is provided with a shoulder against which a sealing washer 16 is pressed when the plug base 11 engages with corresponding projections 18 in corresponding recesses on the sleeve-like extension.
  • the locking projections 18 are formed on the circumference of a base part 20, from which a platform-like extension 21 projects into the housing.
  • the snap switch 14 is mounted on the platform-like extension 21.
  • the contact bearing is designed as an elongated U-bracket with a long leg 30 and a short leg 31. Both the long leg 30 and the short leg 31 each carry a cutting edge bearing 32 or 33 at the free end.
  • the auxiliary actuator 28 and in the cutting edge bearing 33 the contactor 26, each with sharp-edged burr sides, are used as cutting edges, which are caused by angled edges Bending a material flap is brought into the correct position for the cutting edge bearing.
  • the contactor 26 runs inside the U-bracket from the short leg 31 in the direction of the long leg 30 and the auxiliary actuator 28 from the long leg 30 in the direction of the short leg 31, the auxiliary actuator protruding beyond the short leg and outside the short leg with one bent mounting tab 35 and an actuating tab 36 is provided, on which a plunger 37 inserted into the housing 12 acts.
  • the tension spring 27 extends from the fastening tab 35 to a suspension bore 38 in the contactor 26 and is oriented such that when the auxiliary actuator 28 is actuated, the tensile force of the tension spring 27 travels through a snap plane in order to pivot the contactor in the direction of a contact element 40 which is caused by a recess in the long leg 30 of the contact bearing 25 engages in the space between the auxiliary actuator 28 and the contact bearing 25.
  • the bearing edge is bent downward in the mounting hole 38, as a result of which a sharp-edged ridge side comes into contact with the suspended spring and forms a defined point support.
  • FIG. 1 The assembly of the snap switch in the plug base and on the platform-like extension 21, on which the contact bearing 25 rests, is shown in broken lines in FIG.
  • a connecting pin 42 extending from the long leg 30 is inserted through the base part and, as will be explained in the following, is locked in this.
  • the contact element 40 is also inserted with a connecting pin 42 through the base part 20.
  • the connecting pins 42 are produced with a rectangular or square cross section when the respective part is punched out.
  • locking lugs 44 are formed on the connecting pin 42 in that a flag is preferably formed on both sides when punching out.
  • slots 45 are formed in this slot in accordance with the dimension of the connecting pins and the width of the locking wings 44, which merge into a slot-like recess 46 on the plug side, which has the width of the locking wings 44.
  • the locking wing 44 is gripped with a tool and rotated through 90 ° within the slot-like recess 46.
  • the latching vanes 44 clamp on the bottom surface of the slot-like recess 46, and at the same time the material is shortened in the region 43 by the rotation, which ensures a rigid fixation of the contact bearing 25 in the base part.
  • the connecting pins 42 of the contact elements 40 In order to increase the bracing, the bottom surface of the recess 46 can be crowned perpendicular to the alignment of the slot 45.
  • FIG. 2 shows an embodiment with two snap switches which are mounted next to one another on a common contact bearing 25.
  • the contact bearing for the two snap switches has a common connector pin, which is the middle connector pin 42 in the illustration according to FIG.
  • FIG. 2 shows the two snap switches in a different horizontal sectional plane. Therefore, one can see on the lower half of the drawing the contact element 40 and the contactor 26 inserted in the cutting edge bearings 33 on the contact bearing 25, whereas the snap-action switch 28 inserted in the cutting edge bearing 32 on the long leg 30 can be seen in plan view in the snap switch shown above.
  • the cutting edges of the contactor 26 engaging with a sharp-edged ridge side in the pans of the cutting edge bearings are each provided on one side with a hook-shaped flag reaching behind the pans. This measure prevents the cutting edge from falling out of the pan of the cutting edge bearing during normal handling.
  • the flags are bent at an angle offset to the cutting edge, so that the distance between the sharp-edged ridge side of the cutting edge and the flag has a size that only allows the contactor or auxiliary actuator to be inserted into the cutting edge bearing if these two parts are against their normal operating position are kept angularly offset, which is shown in the illustration of the individual assembly phases of the snap switch according to FIGS. 3A to 3C with dash-dotted lines.
  • the snap switch is actuated with the aid of the plunger 37, which is inserted into the housing 12 and engages on the actuation tab 36 of the auxiliary actuator 28.
  • the plunger 37 is provided with a groove 50 into which a sealing sleeve 51 engages, which is made of a soft, elastic material and has a dome-shaped design. An opening is provided in the dome of the dome-shaped configuration, the edge of which comes to lie in the groove 50.
  • a seal in the groove area can advantageously be achieved in that the plunger 37 in the manufacture of the sealing sleeve Injection mold is used, and the material flows directly into the groove 50 when the injection mold is sprayed out.
  • the sealing sleeve can also be pulled onto the plunger 37, the opening coming to lie in the groove 50 under prestress.
  • a bead running at the lower end of the dome-shaped sealing sleeve 51 is inserted into an annular recess around the bore receiving the plunger 37. After insertion, this bead is welded in by deforming the material of the housing and the annular recess 52 remaining in the illustration is potted with silicone sealant.
  • An additional actuator 53 which is formed from a flat strip material and is inserted into a flat groove 54 of an extension 55 on the housing in a known manner, engages on the outer dome of the plunger 37.
  • the desired elasticity of the additional actuator is set by means of a punched-out cutout 56 which runs longitudinally in the strip material and which is attached directly next to the clamping in the extension 55.
