Abstract

Une pince-étau comporte un carter (1) qui peut être relié au transporteur à chaîne et dans lequel sont disposées une mâchoire de serrage (4) solidaire du carter et une mâchoire de serrage (5) montée pivotante qui peut être déplacée depuis une position ouverte vers la mâchoire (4) solidaire du carter. Un levier (6) monté dans le carter (1) peut pivoter entre deux positions terminales qui correspondent aux positions ouverte et fermée, respectivement, de la mâchoire mobile (5), par rapport à la mâchoire (4) solidaire du carter. Le levier (6) est relié à la mâchoire mobile (5) via un élément de transmission élastique (16) dont l'élasticité oppose un mouvement relatif entre la mâchoire mobile (5) et le levier (6) lors de leurs mouvements de fermeture. Pour fermer et ouvrir la mâchoire mobile (5), le levier (6) pivote entre ses deux positions terminales en passant par le point mort d'un mécanisme de point mort (12, 18) disposé entre le levier (6) et l'élément de transmission élastique (16).
