Definitions
- the invention relates to an encapsulated and partitioned medium-voltage switchgear assembly with a retractable switch carriage or switch insert for optionally connecting an output to one of the two saramel rails of a double busbar system by means of one each on the switch carriage or
- Switchgear unit arranged switchgear with plug-in connections that can be extended and retracted when the switching carriage or switchgear is being extended and retracted, as well as with low-voltage equipment for controlling and displaying the operation of the switchgear system, the switchgear system separating rooms from one another
- Switchgear B2) the second switching device linked to the second busbar
- the fields are each spatially separated from each other, i. that is, one field is required for each of the two busbars.
- the relatively large amount of space required is a disadvantage.
- the object of the invention is to design the medium-voltage switchgear according to the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that greater compactness is achieved without the advantages which can be achieved with switchgear panels set up side by side or back to back for a duplex arrangement being lost.
- the characterizing features of the main claim that is, in that the six rooms (A1, A2, B1, B2, C, D) are housed in a common housing which forms a control panel, the housing still enclosing an encapsulated pressure relief chamber and the medium voltage rooms (A1, A2, B1, B2, C) so are arranged so that they adjoin either the top of the housing or the pressure relief space.
- switchgear to be constructed which is considerably more compact than was the case in the prior art, without having to compromise on ease of use and without impairing system safety, even when arcing occurs in one or more of the encapsulated rooms .
- the two busbar compartments are separated from one another by the exit compartment (C). This increases the safety of the overall arrangement and enables a particularly simple and compact switch carriage or switch insert construction for the switchgear.
- the two switchgear or slide-in compartments have a common wall area both with the output compartment and with the associated busbar compartment, because then both slide-in mating contacts can be accommodated in a common candle level, and these connections nevertheless in each case different rooms open, which in turn serves to protect against unwanted flashovers.
- the arrangement becomes particularly user-friendly because it can be viewed and operated from one side if the circuit breaker compartments are arranged vertically one above the other.
- the pressure relief space will expediently be arranged below the two insertion spaces. This has the advantage that there are particularly short distances for the light arcing hot gases for the rooms
- a particularly favorable design, because a particularly high mechanical strength can be achieved, is one
- Arrangement in which the insertion spaces and the pressure relief space have vertical boundary walls aligned with one another and the wall plane facing the exit space also forms a wall of the busbar spaces.
- the switch panel is a sheet metal housing with essentially flat cover, bottom, front, rear and side walls and the rear (switchgear side) has two lockable and locked doors have a door for the connection compartment and a door for the low-voltage compartment for the plug-in compartments and the front (operating side).
- switchgear side has two lockable and locked doors have a door for the connection compartment and a door for the low-voltage compartment for the plug-in compartments and the front (operating side).
- Operating and switching devices on different, opposite sides here has certain safety-related advantages.
- the switch panels according to the invention allow the arrangement of several such switch panels to form a switchgear assembly in which the individual pressure relief spaces
- Switch panels are placed side by side, allows relatively good accessibility from the switchgear side, so that if necessary, flaps opened by an arc can be replaced in a simple manner.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic section through a switch panel for a single busbar to explain the essential parts of such a switch panel and the associated rooms which are isolated from one another;

- Switchgear from several switch panels, whereby pressure relief rooms are also used between individual switch panels.
- FIG. 1 an encapsulated medium-voltage switchgear 20 can be seen with a retractable switching carriage or switch module 12, with which a cable 16 connected to an output with a phase of a z. B. three-phase busbar 3 can be connected.
- the illustration in FIG. 1 shows the three phases of the busbar, since these run transversely to the plane of the drawing, while the remaining parts are shown only once, although they are also present in triplicate (offset from the drawing plane).
- the switch carriage or insert 12 is slidably mounted on wheels 22 on guide rails 24 and can be moved out of the position shown in solid lines into the position shown in broken lines by means of a hand crank 26.
- the circuit breaker 10 is arranged with its contact drive and with the vacuum-enclosed contacts 36 in a circuit breaker room B which is isolated from other rooms within the switch panel.
- the partitioning takes place by means of partition walls 40, which can consist of sheet steel or also of plastic plates produced in fire-resistant sandwich construction. These walls are only perforated to lead connecting cables through tulip-like bushings, see e.g. B. the two components 32, 34 already mentioned.
- the contacts in the tulip bushings are automatically covered with sheets 31 (shutters).
- Another compartment is the busbar space A, through which the three phases of the medium-voltage busbars 3 are passed.
- the third partitioned room is formed by room C, in which a
- the current converter 4 serves to convert the current flowing through the arrangement into a device for the measuring devices and / or protective devices to convert suitable current, the voltage converter 6 similarly generates a secondary voltage. Both measurement signals are led through metal-encapsulated channels via suitable lines in the low-voltage room D, in which one
- Control, signaling, protective and measuring equipment is located. Current and voltage can be displayed there, as well as a tax signal for example for actuating the vacuum circuit breaker 10 are generated.
- the earthing switch 5 can be actuated via a suitable power drive.
- the cable plug 15 allows a voltage tester 14 to be inserted through an opening in the front wall and thus to check the voltage independently of the voltage converter.
- the pressure relief flaps 1 are provided on the upper side, which, in the event of arcing faults occurring in the medium-voltage rooms A, B and C, discharge the hot gases that are released in an explosive manner upwards.
- the pressure relief flaps 1 consist for example of aluminum sheet, while the other parts of the housing are made of sheet steel.
- the pressure relief flaps thus represent "weaknesses" in terms of material strength, which open upwards to protect the other housing parts and the operating personnel or into duct E if explosive excess pressure should occur inside chambers A, B or C.
- the switch panel shown in Fig. 1 is provided for a three-phase busbar, which can be connected accordingly with three discharge cables. If you want to be able to switch from one busbar to another busbar for operational safety reasons, as is practical or even mandatory in many systems, this can be achieved in the construction shown by placing two switch panels according to FIG. 1 back to back, and the output cable running downwards connects in parallel. You can also put two such panels next to each other and feed the busbars from one side, while the output cables are in turn connected to them Exit are connected to each other in phases. However, the required space is doubled. It also becomes difficult to find several of these
- an embodiment as shown in FIG. 2 in a view similar to that in FIG. 1, that is to say in a side section through the control panel, is more favorable.
- an encapsulated medium-voltage switchgear 20 is provided, again with removable switching carriages or plug-in units 12, which run on rollers 22 on rails 24 or (not shown) on the floor surface on which the field is set up and by means of a crank device 26 or also by motor the position shown, in which the plug contact pins 28, 30 are inserted into the corresponding plug contact socket 32, 34 and thus the
- Vacuum circuit breaker 10 is in use, can be moved out into a position in which (can be checked from the outside via a window 35) the
- Vacuum circuit breaker 10 becomes voltage-free.
- the construction is designed in such a way that the disconnected position is reached, see dashed line 43, without the access door 37 to room B1 already being able to be opened.
- the circuit breaker 10 of the circuit breaker room B1 (three such switches are arranged next to one another in the room B1, only one is shown) via the feedthroughs 32 with corresponding three phases L1, L2 and L3 of a first one
- Busbar SS 1 connected, which is guided across the field 20 and is located in a first busbar space A1.
- a second busbar compartment A2 with similar ones Dimensions can be seen at the lower end of the illustration, adjacent to a second circuit breaker room B2, where there are correspondingly three further circuit breakers for the three phases of the second busbar SS 2. Otherwise, the structure is very similar to that already
- the two output connections of the vacuum circuit breakers 10 each open in the output space C, see tulip feedthrough 34.
- the connections emerging from the tulips 34 are connected in parallel with a rectangular copper conductor 44 and jointly lead via a further rectangular copper conductor 46 to the current transformer 4, from where a further copper conductor 48 leads to a voltage converter 6, which can also include an earthing switch 5.
- the medium voltage rooms (A1, A2, B1, B2, C) are each provided with pressure relief devices; in the embodiment shown, the pressure relief flaps 50, 52 leading to the outside with respect to the rooms B1 and A1 and further pressure relief flaps 54, 56 are provided of spaces B2 and A2 and pressure relief flap 58 with respect to the exit space C.
- the last-mentioned three pressure relief flaps 54, 56, 58 open into a pressure relief space E, which is designed as a channel 60 running transversely to the plane of the drawing and from the drive side (FIG.
- Pressure relief duct 60 is directly connected.
- the pressure relief chamber 64 is led upwards in a chimney-like manner and in turn has a pressure relief flap 66 at the top. If several switch panels 20 are placed side by side, as is the case in FIG. 6 or 7, these several switch panels together form the pressure relief channel 60. On both end faces of the group of 6 and 7, a corresponding additional pressure relief chamber 64 is then provided, in FIG. 7 a further space 64 can additionally be seen between two fields.
- An explosive discharge 66 for example in the lower region of the switch panel, therefore leads to a gas flow along this channel 60, see arrows 68 in the direction of the two or three additional ventilation spaces 64 at the ends or in the central region.
- FIG. 6 shows that explosive gas developments 72 occurring there at the upper end of the housing can escape via the flaps 50, 52, this in the construction according to FIG. 2 or also, schematically, according to FIG. 5.
- the housing still enclosing the encapsulated pressure relief chamber E and here the rooms containing the medium-voltage devices (A1, A2, B, C) are arranged so that they adjoin either the top of the housing (flaps 50, 52) or the pressure relief chamber (E) (flaps 54, 56, 58).
- 5 also shows that the two busbar compartments (A1, A2) are each separated from one another by the exit compartment C.
- the two power switching rooms B1, B2 adjoin both the output room D and the associated busbar rooms A1 and A2, respectively, so they each have a common wall area here, so that the plug contacts 28, 30 to the sockets located in the appropriate room are simple 32, 34 can be aligned.
- 5 is arranged at the lower end of the two circuit breaker spaces B1, B2 arranged vertically one above the other, so that spaces A1 and B1 open upwards via pressure relief flaps 50, 52, while the pressure relief gases from the other spaces open into a common space Collect space E or channel 60, which contributes in a suitable manner to a pressure reduction or in an otherwise existing outdoor space 65 z. B. above the system (see Fig. 7).
- Embodiment is advantageous if gases occur during the switching operations, which could be harmful and should therefore be fed to a special collecting device 67.
- Fig. 7 also shows that all discharge processes lead to gases which open into the pressure relief space E or the channel 60, from where they, for example, in one or two
- Collection room 67 led where they can be sucked off and made harmless if it should be harmful gases.
- the low-voltage equipment in room D is accessible from the operating side, for example via door 76, but also the output connection room C via the further door 80, which in turn is provided with viewing window 78.
- the viewing window serves the mechanical position Check the ground contact 5, which can be operated with a spindle in a manner not shown here by hand or by motor with the door 80 still closed.
