  • aqueous gelatin solution maintained at 40 °C, and to the mixture were added aqueous ammonia and acetic acid to adjust a pH to 9.5.
  • ammoniacal silver ions and a solution containing potassium iodide and potassium bromide were added according to a double jet method to give a silver iodobromide emulsion containing 30 mole % of silver iodide.
  • the above sensitizing dye (A) and sensitizing dye (B) were added in amounts of 300 mg and 15 mg, respectively, per mole of silver in the emulsion.
  • the emulsion obtained was maintained at 40 °C, and an appropriate amount of a formalin resin of sodium naphthalenesulfonate (average polymerization degree: 4 to 6) was added therein to sediment silver halide grains. After removal of a supernatant, pure water at a temperature of 40 °C was added, and then magnesium sulfate was added to sediment silver halide grains again, followed by removal of a supernatant.
  • a formalin resin of sodium naphthalenesulfonate average polymerization degree: 4 to 6
  • ammonium thiocyanate, chloroauric acid and hypo were added, and chemical ripening was effected under the conditions so as to obtain a maximum density.
  • the emulsion obtained in the above (B) was chemically sensitized. Specifically, ammonium thiocyanate, chloroauric acid and hypo were added to effect gold-sulfur sensitization.
  • Emulsion (B) After completion of this chemical sensitization, 4-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3,3a,7-tetrazaindene was added. Subsequently, by adding 150 mg/mole of AgX potassium iodide and the same amounts of the above sensitizing dyes (A) and (B) as in the case of Emulsion (A-1), spectral sensitization was effected. The emulsion obtained was called Emulsion (B).
  • Additives used in the respective emulsion solutions (light-sensitive silver halide coating solutions) of (A - 1 (A - 2) and (B) are shown below. The amounts added are represented in an amount per mole of silver halide.

Claims (8)

1. Un matériau photographique à base d'halogénure d'argent photosensible à la lumière comprenant un support transparent présentant des surfaces opposées de sensibilités différentes, l'une des surfaces étant une surface à sensibilité élevée et l'autre étant une surface à faible sensibilité, au moins une couche d'émulsion d'halogénure d'argent étant disposée sur chaque surface du support, caractérisé en ce que, quand on réalise une exposition avec de la lumière qui présente une longueur d'onde de 300 nm ou plus, et qui, du côté de la surface à sensibilité élevée dudit matériau photosensible, est susceptible de former une image latente, la quantité de lumière transmise à travers le support à partir de la surface à sensibilité élevée atteignant l'interface entre le support et la couche d'émulsion à faible sensibilité est de 12 à 75% de la quantité d'exposition de la surface à sensibilité élevée, et en ce que une dose d'exposition en une position sur l'une des surfaces qui produit une densité de voile de + 1,6, après exposition dudit matériau photosensible sur la surface à sensibilité élevée et développement, provoque en une position sur l'autre surface correspondante à la première position une densité présentant une valeur de densité de voile de + 0,20 ou moins.
2. Le matériau de la revendication 1, dans lequel la sensibilité de ladite surface à sensibilité élevée est de 1,5 à 10 fois la sensibilité de l'autre surface à faible sensibilité.
3. Le matériau de la revendication 1, dans lequel la quantité d'argent de ladite surface à sensibilité élevée est de 1,1 à 5,0 fois la quantité d'argent de ladite surface à faible sensibilité.
4. Le matériau de la revendication 1, dans lequel 50% ou plus de la surface de projection de la totalité des grains d'halogénure d'argent de ladite surface à sensibilité élevée présente une granulométrie de 0,5 pm à 2,00 pm.
5. Le matériau de la revendication 1, dans lequel 60% ou plus de la surface de projection de la totalité des grains d'halogénure d'argent de la surface à sensibilité élevée est formée de grains normaux cristallins monodispersés et/ou de grains tabulaires doubles présentant un rapport dimensionnel d'au moins 5.
6. Le matériau de la revendication 1, dans lequel la sensibilité de la surface à sensibilité élevée est de 1,5 à 10 fois plus élevée que la sensibilité de la surface à faible sensibilité, et dans lequel la valeur G. (Ag/gélatine) qui est le rapport pondéral argent/gélatine de ladite surface à sensibilité élevée est supérieure à la valeur GL (Ag/gélatine) qui est le rapport pondéral argent/gélatine de la surface à faible sensibilité, et dans lequel en outre un composé d'alcool polyvalent est présent en une quantité de 5,0 x 10-5 à 5,0 x 10-3 moles par gramme de gélatine.
7. Un procédé de formation d'une image utilisant un matériau photosensible selon la revendication 1, comprenant la mise en oeuvre d'un développement par exposition avec de la lumière présentant une longueur d'onde de 300 nm ou plus, et susceptible de former une image latente à partir de la face de surface à sensibilité élevée dudit matériau photosensible, dans lequel la quantité de lumière transmise à travers le support à partir de la surface à sensibilité élevée et atteignant l'interface entre le support et la couche d'émulsion à faible sensibilité est de 12% à 75% de la quantité d'exposition de la surface à sensibilité élevée.
8. Un procédé photographique utilisant le matériau photosensible de la revendication 1, dans lequel une pellicule et une cassette présentent sensiblement la même forme non uniforme.
