- the sleeve is equipped with a ring mounted sliding around it, which can be moved when adjusting a first position at the base of the flexible legs to a second position located at the ends of said close legs of the stirrup, in which the ring encloses the tabs around the rack, and these tabs are provided at said ends with ring retaining means in said second position.

- these retaining means comprise a flange 23 formed at the ends of the legs 14 and preferably projecting at right angles to the surface thereof, as well as an annular bead 24, formed around the legs 14 to a distance d substantially equal to the thickness of the ring 19.
- the bead 24 is rounded to form a domed bulge, in order to allow the ring 19 to slide thereon in the direction of the flange 23.
- This arrangement is particularly advantageous when the lever of the lock remains blocked, by frost or for any other reason.
- the bead 24 is replaced by elastic tabs 25, forming part of the tabs 14 and located at a distance d from the flange 23 substantially equal to the thickness of the ring 19.
- the legs 25 each have a substantially triangular section, namely: on the side of the rod 2 a portion 25a with a slight slope and preferably curved, fixed at its base to the legs 14, and on the side of the flange 23 a steep portion 25b.
- the ring 19 slides on the sides 25a and 25b by crushing them successively, after which the steep sides 25b straighten and oppose any backward movement of the ring 19, making its establishment irreversible.
