Das Verstellpodest 48 ist mit einem Säulenelement 96 ausgebildet, an dem nicht nur eine Achse 98 zur drehbaren Lagerung der Umlenkrolle 46, sondern auch die Vorrats- bzw. Abwickelrolle 100 für die Prägefolie 10 vorgesehen ist. Ausserdem steht von dem Säulenelement 96 des Verstellpodestes 48 das Tastelement 90 weg, das in das Kurvenelement 92 der Führungseinrichtung 94 eingreift. Die Führungseinrichtung 94 ist am ortsfesten Basisteil 54 befestigt. Aus Fig. 7 ist ersichtlich, dass die Führungseinrichtung 94 mit Langlöchern 102 ausgebildet ist, so dass es möglich ist, die Führungseinrichtung 94 in Bezug auf das ortsfeste Basisteil 54 wunschgemäss zu verstellen. Damit ist es möglich, die Vorrichtung an zu dekorierende Gegenstände unterschiedlicher Konizität anzupassen. dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Umlenkrolle (46) kontinuierlich linear um eine der jeweiligen Abweichung zwischen dem geradlinigen Verlauf der Prägefolie (10) und dem Bogen der Abwicklung der konischen Mantelfläche (34) des zu dekorierenden Gegenstandes (32) entsprechende Wegstrecke (a) verschoben wird, und dass die Umlenkrolle (46) gleichzeitig kontinuierlich geschwenkt wird, so dass der geradlinige Verlauf der Prägefolie (10) in Bezug auf den jeweiligen Öffnungswinkel (b) der bogenförmigen Abwicklung der konischen Mantelfläche (34) des zu dekorierenden Gegenstandes (32) ausgeglichen wird.
