Description

  • L'invention a trait à un palier intermédiaire pour fenêtre, porte ou analogue, conforme au préambule de la revendication 1.
  • Certaines fenêtres, portes ou analogues comportent des ouvrants pivotants autour d'un axe vertical dont la hauteur est supérieure à la hauteur normale. Dans certains cas, comme par exemple en cas d'absence de ferrure périmétrale, pour de simples ouvrants pivotant autour d'un axe vertical, il est nécessaire d'assurer une compression homogène du joint sur la périphérie de la feuillure du dormant. A cet effet, on a conçu des paliers intermédiaires que l'on dispose entre l'articulation supérieure et l'articulation inférieure.
  • Ainsi, on connaît par le document DE-U-8.433.218 un palier intermédiaire comprenant une semelle fixe solidaire du dormant pourvue d'une lumière dans laquelle s'engage un doigt d'accrochage d'un élément mobile solidaire de l'ouvrant. Les chants supérieur et inférieur de cette lumière maintiennent verticalement ce doigt d'accrochage alors que le chant vertical présente une paroi curviligne servant de moyen de guidage audit doigt d'accrochage lors de l'ouverture ou de la fermeture de l'ouvrant. Par ailleurs, ce palier comporte une cale d'épaisseur intercalée entre la semelle fixe et l'élément mobile pour conférer à ces deux pièces un positionnement déterminé en vue de faciliter le montage de ce palier intermédiaire sur le dormant et sur l'ouvrant ladite cale d'épaisseur étant arrachée après montage.
  • Or, il arrive fréquemment que, pour une raison quelconque, le dormant ou l'ouvrant sont légèrement bombés. De ce fait, soit le doigt d'accrochage est soumis à un frottement important lors de son déplacement dans la lumière de la semelle fixe soit il se crée un certain jeu entre le doigt d'accrochage et la lumière et la compression homogène du joint sur la périphérie de la feuillure du dormant n'est plus assurée.
  • On connaît également, par le document FR-A-2.562.136, conformément au préambule de la revendication 1, un palier intermédiaire pour fenêtre, porte ou analogue comprenant une semelle fixe rapportée au dormant destinée à coopérer avec un doigt d'accrochage d'un élément mobile rapporté à l'ouvrant. Ainsi, cette semelle fixe comporte une chape maintenant un pivot dont l'axe de rotation se trouve sur l'axe de rotation de l'ouvrant de la porte, fenêtre ou analogue. Ce pivot présente une lumière transversale dans laquelle est à même de s'engager un excentrique rapporté à l'ouvrant et constituant substantiellement, le doigt d'accrochage dudit élément mobile solidaire de cet ouvrant.
  • En raison de sa construction spécifique, l'on observe que le pivot dont est équipée la semelle fixe doit, nécessairement, être disposé sur l'axe de rotation de l'ouvrant. Par ailleurs, la contrainte imprimée à l'ouvrant au travers de ce palier intermédiaire, précisément, en vue d'assurer, en position de fermeture, un maintien en applique, avec une certaine pression de cet ouvrant contre le dormant, est constante quelle que soit, précisément, la position de cet ouvrant c'est-à-dire ouverte ou fermée.
  • La présente invention a pour but de remédier aux inconvénients d'un palier intermédiaire défini par le préambule de la revendication 1. Un tel palier est connu du document DE-U-8.415.163. L'invention résout le problème et est définie par toutes les caractéristiques de la revendication 1.
  • L'invention est exposée ci-après plus en détail à l'aide de dessins représentant seulement un mode d'exécution.

  • On se réfère aux figures 1 et 2.
  • On dispose entre le montant 1 du dormant 2 et le montant 3 de l'ouvrant 4 d'une fenêtre, porte ou analogue dont, précisément, l'ouvrant 4 présente une hauteur supérieure à la hauteur normale et pivote autour d'un axe vertical, un palier intermédiaire 5.
  • Ce palier intermédiaire 5 se compose d'une semelle fixe 6 solidaire du dormant 2 et d'un élément mobile 7 solidaire de l'ouvrant 4. Pour assurer l'étanchéité de la fenêtre, porte ou analogue, il est nécessaire d'assurer une compression homogène sur le joint (non représenté) disposé sur la périphérie de la feuillure du dormant 2.
  • On se réfère aux figures 3 à 5 représentant différentes vues de la semelle fixe 6. Celle-ci comporte sur sa face 8, appliquée sur le dormant 2, deux tétons de positionnement 9, 10, venant se loger dans des orifices 11 (voir figure 2) pratiqués dans le dormant 2. Ladite semelle fixe 6 est rendue solidaire du dormant 2 par des éléments de fixation 12, 13 (voir figure 1) traversant des orifices 14, 15 réalisés dans cette semelle fixe 6. Celle-ci présente sur l'un de ses chants verticaux 16, une lumière horizontale 17 servant de logement à un doigt d'accrochage 18 de l'élément mobile 7.
  • Cet élément mobile 7, représenté par les figures 6 à 8, comporte une embase verticale 19 percée de deux trous 20, 21 pour le passage d'éléments de fixation (non représentés) assurant la fixation de l'élément mobile 7 sur l'ouvrant 4. Le doigt d'accrochage 18 fait saillie par rapport à la face avant 22 de l'embase verticale 19 et est à fleur avec un des chants longitudinaux 23 de cette dernière. La hauteur 24 du doigt d'accrochage 18 est fonction de la hauteur 25 (voir figure 3) de la lumière horizontale 17 de la semelle fixe 6 pour assurer une coopération entre les chants supérieurs 26 et inférieurs 27 du doigt d'accrochage 18 et les parois supérieures 28 et inférieures 29 de la lumière horizontale 17 pour le maintien vertical de l'ouvrant 4.
  • Le doigt d'accrochage 18 constitue un des moyens d'articulation par l'intermédiaire de sa face active 30 coopérant avec un autre moyen d'articulation faisant partie de la semelle fixe 6.
  • Ce second moyen d'articulation est un axe d'articulation 31 (voir figures 9 à 11 qui est logé dans un alésage vertical 32 (voir figure 4) réalisé dans la semelle fixe 6. Cet alésage vertical 32 aboute à un alésage rétréci 33 permettant d'obtenir un épaulement 34. Cet épaulement 34 sert de face d'appui à un renflement 35 réalisé à proximité de l'une des extrémités 36 de l'axe d'articulation 31 et permet la rotation de ce dernier. Par ailleurs, cet épaulement 34 non seulement limite la pénétration de l'axe d'articulation 31 dans l'alésage vertical 32 mais sert également, comme un premier moyen de maintien vertical dudit axe d'articulation 31, le second moyen étant constitué par l'élément de fixation 12 condamnant l'échappement par le haut de l'axe d'articulation 31 hors de l'alésage vertical 32.
  • Conformément à l'invention, le palier intermédiaire 5 comporte des moyens de réglage permettant de rapprocher mais principalement d'éloigner la zone d'accrochage 38 (voir figure 2) du montant 1 du dormant 2 ce qui permet de régler la force de compression exercée sur le joint périphérique disposé dans la feuillure du dormant 2 pour obtenir l'étanchéité de la fenêtre, porte ou analogue.
  • L'axe d'articulation 31 comporte une excentrique 39 disposé entre le renflement 35 et une tête 40 située à l'autre extrémité de l'axe d'articulation. Cet excentrique 39 faisant saillie dans la lumière 17 de la semelle fixe 6 sert de zone d'appui à la face active 30 du doigt d'accrochage 18 de l'élément mobile 7. La distance 41 entre les deux positions extrêmes 42, 43 de l'excentrique 39, après rotation de 180 degrés, constitue l'amplitude de réglage. Par ailleurs, l'axe de perçage 44 de l'alésage vertical 32 et de l'alésage rétréci 33 est excentré par rapport au plan médian 45 de la semelle fixe 6. Pour actionner en rotation l'axe d'articulation 31, on pourvoit la tête 40 de ce dernier de moyens de préhension 46 adaptés à un outil de réglage. Ainsi, ces moyens de préhension 46 peuvent être une fente dans laquelle on peut engager l'extrémité d'un tournevis. L'élément mobile 7 comporte des moyens de réglage de la zone d'accrochage 38.
  • Tel que visible en pointillés dans les figures 6 et 7, on peut, pour le réglage, modifier la position du doigt d'accrochage 18. A cet effet, ce dernier peut coulisser dans une rainure horizontale 47 dans la face avant 22 de l'embase verticale 19 de l'élément mobile 7 sous l'action d'une vis de réglage 48 pourvue également de moyens de préhension 49 pour un outil de réglage.

Palier intermédiaire pour fenêtre, porte ou analogue présentant au moins un ouvrant (4) pivotant autour d'un axe vertical, comprenant, d'une part, une semelle fixe (6) solidaire du dormant (2) et pourvue d'une lumière (17) dans laquelle s'engage un doigt d'accrochage (18) d'un élément mobile (7) solidaire de l'ouvrant (4) et, d'autre part, des moyens d'articulation réglables (18, 31, 48) pour modifier, perpendiculairement au montant (1) du dormant (2), la zone d'accrochage (38) entre l'élément mobile (7) et la semelle fixe (6), les moyens d'articulation réglables étant constitués par un axe d'articulation (31) logé dans un alésage vertical (32) réalisé dans la semelle fixe (6) et coopérant avec une face active (30) dont est équipé le doigt d'accrochage (18) faisant corps avec l'élément mobile (7), cet axe d'articulation (31) étant équipé d'un excentrique (39) dont les deux positions extrêmes (42, 43), obtenues selon une rotation de 180°, constituent l'amplitude de réglage de la zone d'accrochage (38), caractérisé par le fait que l'élément mobile (7) comporte une embase verticale (29) pourvue d'une rainure horizontale (47) dans laquelle se déplace le doigt d'accrochage (18) sous l'action d'une vis de réglage (48).
  2. Palier intermédiaire selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'axe d'articulation (31) et la vis de réglage (48) comportent des moyens de préhension (46, 49) pour un outil de réglage.
