    a) a bottom layer (8) of a plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and on the underside of which is disposed a layer (6) of contact adhesive which is adhered to the circumferential surface of the body (20) and on the upper side of which an imprint (10) is provided;
    b) a top shrinkable layer (14) of a transparent plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and the underside of which adheres via a layer (12) of adhesive to the upper side of the bottom layer (8) and to the imprint (10).
  2. A laminated label to be applied adhesively to the circumferential surface of a body (20) of a dry battery, and of which the edges facing in the axial direction of the body (20) are shrunk on to the end faces of the body (20),
    characterised in that the label has the following laminated structure:
    a) a bottom layer (8) of a plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and on the underside of which is disposed a layer (6) of contact adhesive which is adhered to the circumferential surface of the body (20) and on the upper side of which is disposed a layer (22) of metal applied by vapour-deposition;
    b) an imprint on the upper side of the vapour-deposited layer (22);
    c) a top shrinkable layer (14) of a transparent plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and the underside of which adheres via a layer (12) of adhesive to the upper side of the vapour-deposited layer (22) and to the imprint (10).

    characterised in that the label has the following laminated structure:
    a) a bottom layer (8) of a plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body and on the underside of which is disposed a layer (6) of contact adhesive which is adhered to the circumferential surface of the body (20);
    b) a middle layer (26) of a plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and on the underside of which is disposed a vapour-deposited layer (22) of a metal, which adheres via a layer (28) of adhesive to the upper side of the bottom layer (8) and on the upper side of which is disposed an imprint (10);
    c) a top shrinkable layer (14) of a transparent plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and the underside of which adheres via a layer (12) of adhesive to the upper side of the middle layer and to the imprint (10).
  4. A laminated label to be applied adhesively to the circumferential surface of a body (20) of a dry battery, and of which the edges facing in the axial direction of the body (20) are shrunk on to the end faces of the body (20),
    characterised in that the label has the following laminated structure:
    a) a bottom layer (8) of a plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body (20) and on the underside of which is disposed a layer (6) of contact adhesive which is adhered to the circumferential surface of the body (20) and on the upper side of which is disposed a vapour-deposited layer (32) of a metal;
    b) a middle layer (26) of a plastics film (34) which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body and the underside of which adheres via a layer (36) of adhesive to the vapour-deposited layer (32) and on the upper side of which is disposed an imprint (10);
    c) a top shrinkable layer (14) of a transparent plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body and the underside of which adheres via a layer (12) of adhesive to the upper side of the middle layer (34) and to the imprint (10).
  5. A label according to Claim 2, characterised in that a primer layer (24) is disposed between the vapour-deposited layer (22) and the imprint (10).
  6. A label according to Claim 3, characterised in that a primer layer (24) is disposed between the middle layer (26) and the imprint (10).
  7. A label according to Claim 4, characterised in that a primer layer (30) is disposed between the bottom layer (8) and the vapour-deposited layer (32).
  8. A laminated label to be applied adhesively to the circumferential surface of a body (20) of a dry battery,
    characterised in that the label has the following laminated structure:
    a) a bottom layer (8) of paper, the width of which corresponds to the height of the body and on the underside of which is disposed a layer (6) of contact adhesive which is adhered to the circumferential surface of the body (20) and on the upper side of which an imprint (10) is provided;
    b) a top shrinkable layer (14) of a transparent plastics film which is stretched in the circumferential direction of the body and lined on the bottom layer (8) by means of a layer (12) of adhesive, said film projecting at both edges (16, 18) over the end faces of the body (2) and its edges facing in the axial direction of the body being shrunk on to the end faces of the body (20).
  9. A label according to Claim 8, characterised in that the imprint (10) is applied to a vapour-deposited layer (22) provided on the paper.
  10. A label according to Claim 9, characterised in that a primer layer (24) is disposed between the imprint (10) and the vapour-deposited layer (22).
  11. A label according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the stretched plastics film or stretched plastics films is/are comprised of HPVC.
  12. A label according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the vapour-deposited layer (22) is comprised of aluminium.
