Claims (16)

  1. Label having a layer of metal (6) and preferably a covering film (2) lying over the layer of metal (6), wherein in the upper surface of the metal layer (6) or optionally in the underside of the covering film (2) there is a hologram (4) visible from the outside, said label further having an adhesive layer (12) capable of being stuck on to a substrate, characterised in that the adhesive layer (12) is provided on the underside of a label material (10) which is directly or indirectly attached to the metal layer (6).
  2. Label according to claim 1, characterised in that the metal layer (6) is provided on the surface of a support film (25).
  3. Label according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the metal layer (6) consists of a vapour-deposited metal.
  4. Label according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the metal layer (6) consists of aluminium.
  5. Label according to one of claims 1, 3 and 4, characterised in that the upper surface of the label material (10) is attached to the underside of the metal layer (6) by means of a laminated adhesive layer (8).
  6. Label according to one of claims 1, 3 and 4, characterised in that the upper surface of the label material (10) is attached to the underside of the metal layer (6) via an adhesive-repellent layer (20) provided on the upper surface of this label material (10), an adhesive layer (18) on the underside of another label material (22) and a laminated adhesive layer (8) on the upper surface of the other label material (22).
  7. Label according to claim 2, characterised in that all or part of the upper surface of the label material (10) is attached to the underside of the support film (25) by means of a laminated adhesive layer (26).
  8. Label according to one of claims 1, 3 and 4, characterised in that the upper surface of the label material (10) is attached to the underside of the metal layer (6) via another label material (22) sticking to the upper surface of the label material (10) by adhesion (adhesive layer (28)) and a laminated adhesive layer (8) on the upper surface of this other label material (22).
  9. Label according to claim 2, characterised in that the upper surface of the label material (10) is attached to the underside of the support film (25) via another label material (22) sticking to the upper surface of the label material (10) by adhesion (adhesive layer (28)) and a laminated adhesive layer (8) on the upper surface of this other label material (22).
  10. Label according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the label material (10) is provided with a punched security marking (24).
  11. Label according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the adhesive layer (12) sticks releasably to the adhesion-repellent layer (14) of a substrate (16).
  12. Label according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the laminated adhesive layer (8) consists of a solvent-based laminated lacquer containing one or two components.
  13. Label according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the laminated adhesive layer (8) consists of a radiation-curable, particularly UV-radiation-curable, laminated lacquer.
  14. Label according to claims 11 and 13, characterised in that the substrate (16) is permeable to radiation, particularly UV-radiation.
  15. Label according to one of claims 11 and 13, characterised in that the substrate (16) consists of sulfate paper, glazed paper or plastics, particularly PET or biaxially stretched PP.
  16. Label according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the covering film (2) consists of PET, PVC, acetate or PP.
