Die Erfindung betrifft ein Haftetikett nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Bei bekannten Etiketten dieser Art besteht die Trägerschicht aus gerecktem, schrumpfbarem Kunststoff. Die Schutzschicht des Aufdrucks besteht aus einem glänzenden Lack. Diese Folie 14 steht an beiden Rändern 16, 18 über die unter ihr liegenden Schichten 6, 8, 10, 12 über. Das Etikett wird durch die Schichten 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 gebildet und vor dem Aufbringen auf einem Batteriekörper 2o (Fig. 2) auf die Unterlage 2, 4 abgelöst. Die axialen Abmessungen des Batteriekörpers 2o stimmen mit den Abmessungen der Schichten 6, 8 10, 12 des Etiketts nach Fig. 1 überein.
