Abstract

1387619 Dry cell casings TUWA PLASTIK DR HERBERT WARNECKE 3 May 1972 [11 May 1971] 20666/72 Heading H1B A dry cell 2 is surrounded over a greater part of its surface by a plastics casing 1 and the greater part of the cylindrical surface of the casing is coated with aluminium foil 3 secured by adhesive, to impart added strength to the casing. A varnish layer may be applied to the foil and casing. In another embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown), the foil 3 forms an outer layer of a laminate, the other layer comprising plastics material, this plastics material being attached to the casing 1 by welding or by adhesive.
