Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for placing tape material on a work table, consisting of a laying slide which can be moved back and forth along the work table, which with a material dispenser for receiving rotatably mounted tape rolls, a clamping device for holding a tape that can be pulled off a tape roll, and a cutting device for cutting to length the tape pulled off a tape roll and applied to the work table and optionally cooperating with a holding device which can be moved relatively to the laying slide to hold down the beginning of the tape at the start of the take-off.
  • laying devices are also known, in which the laying carriage itself receives the material dispenser and the additional devices required for band laying, such as clamps, knives, holders and the like. Like. Carries, so that in the process of laying slides with simultaneous unwinding of the band material, band laying is possible without pulling and sliding movements by rolling up.
  • a material dispenser with a plurality of rotatably mounted tape rolls has already been proposed, which tape rolls are offset in height and are lined up one behind the other on the laying slide and interact with tape guiding devices arranged on one or both ends of the laying slide.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies and of creating a device of the type described at the outset which, in a relatively inexpensive and rational manner, ensures that tapes of different materials can be applied quickly and reliably.
  • the material dispenser comprises a magazine drum or the like which is rotatably and driveably mounted in the laying slide and has receptacles for at least two, preferably three, reels, the magazine drum having its own clamp, which is assigned to this position, and by Rotary adjustment pivots a belt roll and clamp into a delivery position, in which the clamp located in the vicinity of the work table surface aligns the belt to be removed from the associated belt roll at an acute angle to the work table surface and that the cutting device sits on the laying carriage and on the laying carriage behind the delivery position of the clamps
  • a pressure roller which can be moved from a working position into a rest position and can be placed on the pulled-off band is provided.
  • the combination of a laying carriage and a band magazine means that large quantities of the same material or different tapes can be placed and / or stacked on top of each other without interruption by changing the reel, depending on the magazine.
  • the relevant tape reels of the magazine can be brought into the delivery position by a simple, appropriately controlled rotary movement of the magazine drum, from which the tape material is then unwound from the respective tape reel in the amount of the laying slide movement and simultaneously placed on the work table.
  • the shift-free placement of the band material on the work table allows a wide variety of band material Surface quality and the associated friction and adhesion conditions can be easily applied in single or multi-layer layers, whereby the pressure roller guarantees a full, wrinkle-free depositing of the tapes and for a proper unwinding of the tape to be deposited from the respective tape roll and at the same time for the non-slip application of the tape of the given document.
  • a holding device can be provided which keeps the beginning of the tape at the work table after releasing the clamp until the pressure roller, which is initially in a rest position, can be placed on the tape and pressed down in the working position.
  • the mounting device for the laying slide is arranged to be relatively displaceable and the cutting device is mounted on the carriage, the beginning and end of the respective tape laying process on the work table can be freely selected and the position and length of the tapes placed on it can be rationally predetermined.
  • the fixed distance between the cutting device and the clamps in the delivery position always results in a constant protrusion of the strip that is then held in the clamp after the strip has been cut to length, and thus also inevitably promotes the beginning of a new laying process that freely projects beyond the clamp yourself.
  • the rotatable magazine drum also creates a compact, low-effort design, whereby this rotatable magazine drum even makes changing the reel easier, because each reel can be skillfully brought into the most suitable changing position by rotating the drum.
  • a rotatable and drivably mounted winding drum for winding up a cover sheet of the strip material or the like is assigned to at least one tape roll, so that an existing cover sheet is pulled off and onto the table while the tape is being unwound while the tape is being laid on the table the winding drum can be wound up. It is therefore also easy to put on adhesive tape material covered with a protective film and, by pulling off the protective film, can also be glued to one another, which is often expedient, particularly when so-called prepregs are put on.
  • the pressure roller can be loaded with different contact pressure and is preferably mounted on the swivel arm so that it can be pivoted in the laying carriage, its effect can be coordinated with the respective process, whether it is a single application of a tape or a stacking of tapes, and the swivel adjustment not only enables simple application of force the pressure roller via a lever or the like connected to the swivel arms, but also allows the pressure roller to be removed from its working position to move away to a rest position that releases the storage area.
  • the holding device consists of a holding bar or the like articulated on an additional slide or the like which can be pivoted by means of cantilever arms and which can be pushed forward by relative methods of laying and additional slides into the depositing area between the cutting device and the delivery position of the clamps.
  • the cantilever arms offer the holder a corresponding range, so that the holding bar can easily grasp the beginning of the tape protruding from the clamp at the start of the laying process and clamp it on the work table.
  • the pressure roller puts on the tape material and takes over the task of the holding device, the holding strip of which by the further movement of the laying slide Leaves storage area.
  • the holding device remains stationary with respect to the work table, but it can be moved along the work table depending on the choice of the starting point, for which purpose it sits on an additional slide.
  • the pressure roller can be pressed onto the holding bar or the like protruding into the depositing area when the holding device is used, the holding force of the holding device can be applied via the pressure roller, which pressure roller also depends on the relative movement between the laying and additional slides during the laying process Rotation is offset and rolls over from the holding strip onto the belt to be put down, so that a disturbance of the belt deposit due to the placement the pressure roller is excluded.
  • any slide that is guided on the work table and that can be positioned as desired is suitable as an additional slide, it being possible for an existing tool slide for strip processing to serve as an additional slide.
  • guide rails arranged downstream of the clamps can be provided in the magazine drum, each serving in the delivery position as a transverse guide for the cutting device.
  • the guide rails are permanently assigned to the tape rolls, so that there are always constant cutting conditions regardless of the respective tape roll.
  • a material dispenser 4 which consists of a rotatably and drivably mounted magazine drum 5 for receiving three tape rolls 6, is seated.
  • the tape rolls 6, on which the tape material 1 is wound, are rotatably supported in the magazine drum 5 and for each of the tape rolls 6 a separate clamp 7 is provided in the magazine drum 5 for holding the respective tape start 1a.
  • each of the three tape rolls 6 can be rotated into a delivery position A and fixed there, in which delivery position A the respective tape roll 6 is in the vicinity of the work surface 2a and the clamp 7 the tape 1 at an acute angle aligned to this work surface 2a.
  • the laying slide 3 receives a cutting device 10, which is arranged in the pull-off direction behind the delivery position A of the tape rolls 6 and comprises a cutting tool 12 which can be displaced along guide rails 9 transversely to the tape direction by means of a cross slide 11.
  • the laying carriage 3 carries a pressure roller 13, which is pivotably mounted via swivel arms 14 and can be swiveled from a rest position lifted from the work table 2 into a working position in which it is placed just behind the clamp 7 in the dispensing position A on the belt 1 to be deposited and can be pressed against the work table surface 2a with an adjustable force.
  • a holding device 15 for holding down the beginning of the tape 1a, which is articulated in a pivotable manner from an extension arm 16 to an additional slide 17, for example the tool slide of a cutting unit 18 of a guide plate formed retaining strip 19, which can be advanced by a relative movement of the laying slide 3 and additional slide 17 into the lay-up area of the belt 1, for which purpose the pressure roller 13 must of course leave its working position.
  • this cover film 1b can be removed at the same time when the band 1 is placed on it, if the respective band roll 6 in the magazine drum 5 is assigned a rotatable and drivable winding drum 20, so that the winding drum 20, if appropriate before the start of laying, the cover film 1b which has been clamped is pulled off by the driven winding drum 20 during the laying of the tape and wound onto the winding drum and a tape free of a covering film can be placed on the work table 2.
  • the magazine drum 5 is rotated accordingly, so that the tape roll 6 to be changed or renewed can be easily replaced, for example from above through a loading opening 21 by means of a hoist, and the respective tape start 1a of the new tape roll clamped in the associated clamp 7 can be.
  • the material dispenser is equipped, this can be done Place the desired strip material automatically on the work table 2, for which purpose the laying carriage 3 moves into the selected starting position of the laying process.
  • the pressure roller 13 is in the rest position, the desired tape roll 6 is brought into the delivery position A and the holding device 15 is pushed until the holding bar 19 can grip the tape start 1a and press it down against the work table surface 2a.
  • the clamp 7 of the tape reel 6 lying in the delivery position A opens and by moving the laying slide 3 forward, the tape 1 held by the holding device 15 on the work table surface 2a is unwound from the tape reel 6 and placed on the work table surface 2a.
  • the pressure roller 13 swivels into its working position and takes over the pressure function from the holding device 15 when the tape 1 is put on.
  • it is also possible to close the pressure roller 13 earlier in the working position bring and thereby lower them on the holding bar 19, so that the holding force of the holding device is increased or applied at all by the pressure roller and, moreover, the pressure roller can also be rotated at the start of movement and can roll over onto the belt without risk of sliding.
  • the tape 1 is now properly laid on the work table surface 2a while simultaneously unwinding from the tape roll 6, with guide rollers 7a in the area of the clamps 7 ensuring a uniform tape take-off which is independent of the respective roller diameter.
  • any cover film 1b that may be present is to be removed from the tape 1 to be placed, the cover film 1b, which was manually lifted before the start of the laydown and clamped in the winding drum 20, is removed in accordance with the tape take-off wound on the correspondingly rapidly driven winding drum 20.
  • the laying carriage 3 stops, the clamps 7 fix the tape 1, the pressure roller 13 swivels back from the working position to the rest position and the cutting tool 12 of the cutting device 10 can move the tape 1 from it by a transverse movement Cut the rest to length so that the band start 1a required for the next laying process protrudes again via the terminal 7.
  • the laying carriage can now be moved into a parking position for processing the laid-on band or moved back to the starting position for repeating the layering process to repeat the laying process, the same or a different band depending on which band roll 6 is brought into the delivery position A. .
  • the beginning and the end of the band laying can be chosen as desired, so that any band material can be applied to the work table 2 in position and length, in the type of material and in the number of layers stacked on top of one another. It is also possible to equip the laying carriage 3 with an only indicated device carriage 22 for receiving additional devices or the like and, for example, not only for laying on the strip material, but at the same time also as a carrier slide for a marking or labeling device for the desired identification of the placed strip materials to use.
