Claims (9)

  1. Dispositif pour appliquer une matière de revêtement à une surface, comprenant un pistolet pulvérisateur ayant une buse de pulvérisation pour décharger la matière de revêtement sur une surface, un moyen pour produire un mouvement relatif entre le pistolet pulvérisateur et la surface suivant un axe X, un moyen pour produire un mouvement relatif entre le pistolet pulvérisateur et la surface suivant un axe Y, l'axe Y étant perpendiculaire à l'axe X, un moyen pour produire un mouvement relatif entre le pistolet pulvérisateur et la surface suivant un axe Z, l'axe Z étant perpendiculaire à l'axe X ainsi qu'à l'axe Y, un moyen pour la mise en rotation de la buse de pulvérisation autour d'un axe sensiblement perpendiculaire audit axe X et audit axe Y, et un moyen pour faire pivoter la buse de pulvérisation, caractérisé en ce que le pistolet pulvérisateur (12) comporte une partie en prolongement (26), comprenant un passage (28) pour la transmission de la matière de revêtement, à laquelle est reliée la buse de pulvérisation (48), en ce que le moyen de mise en rotation fait tourner la partie en prolongement (26) et la buse de pulvérisation (48) afin de placer la buse de pulvérisation (48) dans une position sensiblement perpendiculaire au sens de déplacement du pistolet pulvérisateur (12) suivant l'axe X ou l'axe Y et en ce que le moyen de pivotement fait pivoter la buse de pulvérisation (48) par rapport au pistolet pulvérisateur (12) indépendamment de la rotation de la buse de pulvérisation (48).
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le pistolet pulvérisateur (12) comporte une entrée de fluide (25) et une sortie de mise en circulation (47), la partie en prolongement (26) étant montée de manière à pouvoir tourner sur le pistolet pulvérisateur (12), le passage (28) de la partie en prolongement communiquant avec l'entée de fluide (25) afin de recevoir la matière de revêtement et se terminant dans une sortie de décharge (34), le passage (28) supportant un plongeur creux (22) qui est mobile entre une position ouverte par rapport à la sortie de décharge (34) où la matière de revêtement est éjectée de la sortie de décharge (34), et une position fermée, dans laquelle le plongeur (22) bloque l'écoulement de la matière de revêtement dans la sortie de décharge (34), le plongeur (22) comportant un premier orifice (38) à l'une de ses extrémités qui transmet la matière de revêtement depuis le passage (28) de la partie en prolongement (26) pour l'introduire dans l'intérieur creux (23) du plongeur (22), et le plongeur (22) présentant un second orifice (40) à son extrémité opposée qui communique avec la sortie de mise en circulation (47) du pistolet pulvérisateur (12) afin de décharger la matière de revêtement depuis l'intérieur du plongeur (22).
  3. Dispositif selon l'une ou l'autre des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de mise en rotation de la partie en prolongement (26) comprend une roue d'indexage (118) montée sur la partie en prolongement (26), la roue d'indexage (118) ayant des axes (120) distants radialement du centre de la roue (118) et distants circonférentiellement les uns des autres, un moyen de blocage (146) pour empêcher de manière amovible la rotation de la roue d'indexage (118); et une plaque-poussoir (134) mobile dans une première direction et dans une seconde direction, opposées, la plaque-poussoir (134), au cours de son déplacement dans la première direction permettant de désengager séquentiellement le moyen de blocage (146) de la roue d'indexage (118) et d'être alors en contact avec l'un des axes (120) de la roue d'indexage (118) pour faire tourner la roue d'indexage (118) et la partie en prolongement (26), le moyen de blocage (146) ne permettant pas de réengager la roue d'indexage (118) avant le mouvement de la plaque-poussoir (134) dans la seconde direction, opposée, afin de maintenir immobile la roue d'indexage (118) pour préparer la venue en contact de la plaque-poussoir (134) avec un autre des axes (120) de la roue d'indexage (118).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que la roue d'indexage (118) comporte des évidements (122) espacés les uns des autres dans sa périphérie extérieure et en ce que le moyen de blocage comprend un bras de blocage (142) pouvant pivoter par rapport à la roue d'indexage (118), le bras de blocage (142) comprenant un rouleau (146) à l'une de ses extrémités qui est formé de manière à s'asseoir à l'intérieur de chacun des évidements (122) de la roue d'indexage (118), le bras de blocage (142) permettant de maintenir immobile la roue d'indexage (118) lorsque le rouleau (146) est assis dans l'un des évidements (120) de la roue d'indexage (118).
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'un adaptateur (46) monte en pivotement la buse de pulvérisation (48) sur la partie en prolongement (26), l'adaptateur (46) comportant un alésage (54) à l'intérieur duquel une partie de la buse de pulvérisation (48) est montée en rotation, l'adaptateur (46) présentant au moins un passage (52, 60, 64) qui interconnecte le passage (28) de la partie en prolongement (26) et la buse de pulvérisation (48) pour transmettre la matière de revêtement depuis la partie en prolongement (26) à la buse de pulvérisation (48).
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de pivotement de la buse de pulvérisation (48) comprend un manchon (176) mobile dans une première direction et une seconde direction le long de la partie en prolongement (26), un levier de basculement (184) fixé à la buse de pulvérisation (48), le levier de basculement (184), le bras de manivelle (188) permettant, en réponse au mouvement du manchon (176) dans la première direction, de faire pivoter le levier de basculement (184) dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre, le bras de manivelle (188) permettant, en réponse au déplacement du manchon (176) dans la seconde direction, de faire pivoter le levier de basculement (184) dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre par rapport à la partie en prolongement (26) et au dispositif de pulvérisation (14) et ainsi de faire pivoter la buse de pulvérisation (48) dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre.
  7. Dispositif selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le manchon (176) est constitué d'un disque supérieur (172) et d'un disque inférieur (174) qui sont espacés l'un de l'autre, formant entre eux une rainure (170).
  8. Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé par un moyen pour déplacer le manchon (176) le long de la partie en prolongement (26), le moyen comprenant un étrier (158) ayant une extrémité supportée dans la rainure (170) entre les disques supérieur et inférieur (172, 174) et un vérin hydraulique (154) pour déplacer l'étrier (158) par rapport à la partie en prolongement (26), l'étrier (158) pouvant venir en contact avec le disque inférieur (174) afin de déplacer le manchon (176) dans une direction et avec le disque supérieur (172) pour déplacer le manchon (176) dans l'autre direction.
  9. Dispositif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que le vérin hydraulique (158) est relié à une plaque d'arrêt fixe (160), l'étrier (158) comportant en outre une butée (164, 165) s'étendant entre l'étrier (158) et la plaque d'arrêt fixe (160), la butée (164, 165) permettant d'être en contact avec la plaque d'arrêt (160) à un point prédéterminé du déplacement de l'étrier (158) afin de limiter le mouvement du manchon (176) le long de la partie en prolongement (26) et donc de limiter la quantité du mouvement pivotant de la buse de pulvérisation (48).
