Claims (8)

  1. Carde pour la fabrication, à partir de matière fibreuse, de voiles de fibres orientées au hasard ou longitudinalement, comprenant au moins un cylindre d'alimentation ou un dispositif semblable, éventuellement un petit tambour tournant dans le même sens que celui-ci, et au moins trois tambours travailleurs de même diamètre placés après le petit tambour et tournant dans le même sens et de préférence en sens contraire du petit tambour, qui sont en prise deux à deux et dont la vitesse relative et/ou la distance mutuelle est/sont réglable(s) pour la commande de la proportion d'une part de matière fibreuse restockable sur un tambour travailleur et d'autre part de matière fibreuse transmissible au tambour travailleur suivant, les tambours travailleurs étant revêtus de boîtes de recouvrement s'engageant dans la zone de coin et constituant des boîtes directrices d'air, caractérisée par le fait que les tambours travailleurs (14 à 28) sont tous en prise successivement, sont placés sur le pourtour d'au moins un tambour central (30, 31) de plus grand diamètre qu'eux et tournant dans le même sens qu'eux et sont en prise avec celui-ci, que les vitesses relatives et/ou la distance des tambours travailleurs (14 à 28) d'une part et du tambour central ou des tambours centraux d'autre part sont réglables, et que les boîtes de recouvrement (36 à 50) sont placées sur le côté des tambours travailleurs (14 à 18) opposé au tambour central ou aux tambours centraux (30, 31).
  2. Carde selon la revendication 1, caractérisée par le fait qu'il est prévu deux tambours centraux (30, 31) tournant dans le même sens.
  3. Carde selon la revendication 2, caractérisée par le fait que les deux tambours centraux (30, 31) sont de même diamètre.
  4. Carde selon l'une des revendications 2 et 3, caractérisée par le fait que les vitesses relatives et/ou la distance des deux tambours centraux (30, 31) sont réglables.
  5. Carde selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait que de l'air comprimé peut être envoyé aux boîtes de recouvrement (36 à 50).
  6. Carde selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins une des boîtes de recouvrement (36 à 50) est pourvue de segments cardeurs sur son côté dirigé vers les tambours travailleurs (14 à 28).
  7. Carde selon la revendication 6, caractérisée par le fait que des segments cardeurs sont prévus sur la boîte de recouvrement ou les dernières boîtes de recouvrement précédant un rouleau peigneur (32, 34).
  8. Carde selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisée par le fait que les boîtes de recouvrement (36 à 50) remplacent la couverture par capots de protection autrement usuelle.
