Definitions
- the present invention relates to a drainage channel according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
- Drainage channels are well-known means of linearly draining surfaces of squares and traffic routes. Prefabricated channels are poured into a concrete banquet in the floor. Gratings are used as the cover, which are either formed from slotted shaped metal sheets or from cast iron. It is customary to design the crowns of the side walls in such a way that the grids are guided laterally. This can be done either by a raised rib made of the material or by means of a frame that is placed on the gutters.
- the channels are often made of polyester concrete.
- German Patent No. 3,149,552 it was proposed in German Patent No. 3,149,552 to anchor a metal frame sitting on the gutter walls. Another one The solution is described in German Utility Model No. 84 35 101.
- a sheet metal molded part In this molded part, the blank is folded around a fold line in such a way that a double-layer side leg is created for the lateral support of the grids.
- One of the two layers forms the outer holding leg and the second layer forms the inner holding leg after being folded twice. Both holding legs are provided with anchoring tongues facing each other in order to form a rigid connection with the casting material for the channels.
- edge protection is inserted into the mold before the channel is poured and the channel is lifted out after the casting material has been crosslinked, it can be seen that the shrinkage of the casting material and these rigid edge protection profiles lead to the channels bending and not being reworked are usable.
- 1 and 2 is a U-shaped channel with a concavely curved bottom wall 10 and side walls 11, 12 which are inclined outwards on the inside. On the outside, the surfaces are perpendicular to the outside floor surface. A groove in the transition from side surfaces to floor surfaces results in a narrower floor surface for easier relocation, but also considerable material savings.
- An outwardly projecting rib 13, 14 with a lower horizontal surface and an upper, inclined surface results in one solid anchoring of the drainage channel 1 in the concrete banquet, so that the drainage channel cannot be raised in frost. From Fig. 2 it can be seen that this rib 13, 14 extends over the entire length of the channel wall. But it could just as well be interrupted.
- a lock is indicated on the left and right in FIG. 2, with a mother part on the left and a father part on the right in order to align channels one after the other, so that no disturbing shoulders can occur on the floor and also on the upper channel wall.
- Bar holder boxes 15 are inserted in the side walls 11, 12. Such bolt holder box 15 are used to screw the grids 16 by a bolt, not shown, engages under the upper wall and can be screwed tightly from the grate by means of a screw. These bar holder boxes 15 are described in EP-B-0 112 287. It is therefore not necessary to go into this at this point.
- the present invention now relates to the wall cover 20, which is designed as a profile in the form of an h and a straight outer wall 21 with an inwardly directed rib 24, a support 22 which branches off at right angles from said outer wall 21 and has an inner leg 23.
- the outer wall 21 is in the area 25 opposite the inner leg 23 against the inner leg 23 by one Angle ⁇ inclined from 1 ° to 5 ° in order to generate a prestress on the side wall 11, 12 of the drainage channel 1.
- the side walls 11, 12 can have a longitudinal groove 17 as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 or a crown thickening 31 in the attachment element 30 according to FIG. 4.
- the cover 20 has recesses 25 in the area of the latch holder box 15. These could also be arranged elsewhere, or there could also be more than just the two recesses 25 shown in FIG. 2. These are used for mounting in the concrete banquet or in the road surface with which they form a toothing in order to be secured against shifting in the longitudinal direction.
- the cover advantageously consists of plastic, for example of an extrudable plastic such as thermoplastics, which are temperature-resistant in the range of the floor temperatures, they have the known advantages over Metal frames that cannot be cut or can rust if they have to be adjusted. It is also important, however, that the covers according to the invention fit snugly against the channel wall, so that no condensation forms between the cover and the side wall. In particular, there are no capillaries, as in the aforementioned utility model no. 84 35 101 in the folded sheet metal, so that there is no fear of rusting through.
- Another advantage of using plastic is that, together with the latch holder box 15, the grids 16 now rest on plastic and the latches are pressed against the plastic of the latch holder box 15. This makes it practically impossible to loosen the screws independently, but even if a screw were not properly tightened, a rust on plastic would not clatter.
- crowns of the side walls can be produced without thickening and without steps for receiving grates or frames for them, which results in a very large saving in material.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a drainage channel according to the preamble of
Drainage channels are well-known means of linearly draining surfaces of squares and traffic routes. The channels are often made of polyester concrete.
It is known that for this reason the side walls on the crown have to be practically twice as thick as they are below in order to ensure the necessary strength.
In order to avoid this additional material, which makes the gutters very expensive, it was proposed in German Patent No. 3,149,552 to anchor a metal frame sitting on the gutter walls. Another one The solution is described in German Utility Model No. 84 35 101. Instead of an elaborate profile strip with anchoring openings on both sides into which the casting material can penetrate, it is proposed here to use a sheet metal molded part. In this molded part, the blank is folded around a fold line in such a way that a double-layer side leg is created for the lateral support of the grids. One of the two layers forms the outer holding leg and the second layer forms the inner holding leg after being folded twice. Both holding legs are provided with anchoring tongues facing each other in order to form a rigid connection with the casting material for the channels.
Since such edge protection is inserted into the mold before the channel is poured and the channel is lifted out after the casting material has been crosslinked, it can be seen that the shrinkage of the casting material and these rigid edge protection profiles lead to the channels bending and not being reworked are usable.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide an edge protector for drainage channels which does not result in warping of the channels, but which results in a clean and flawless support and recess in the decking of the guideway or space for the gratings.
According to the invention this is achieved by the features in the characterizing part of
- Fig. 2 einen Aufriss der Entwässerungsrinne,
- Fig. 4 eine Schnittansicht der Wandabdeckung.
- 1 is a sectional view of a drainage channel with attached wall cover according to the invention and inserted grate, according to section line II in Fig. 2,
- 2 is an elevation of the drainage channel,
- Fig. 3 is a sectional view as in Fig. 1 but with an attachment element for increasing the channel height, and
- Fig. 4 is a sectional view of the wall cover.
An outwardly projecting
A lock is indicated on the left and right in FIG. 2, with a mother part on the left and a father part on the right in order to align channels one after the other, so that no disturbing shoulders can occur on the floor and also on the upper channel wall.
The present invention now relates to the
For anchoring this
The advantages of such a cover over the known covers mentioned are obvious. Above all, such a cover can be placed in the banquet either before or only after the drainage channel has been poured in. Therefore, shrinkage during cross-linking does not have to be considered during production. The drainage channel can therefore be manufactured according to the known processing instructions for, for example, polyester concrete.
For its part, the cover advantageously consists of plastic, for example of an extrudable plastic such as thermoplastics, which are temperature-resistant in the range of the floor temperatures, they have the known advantages over Metal frames that cannot be cut or can rust if they have to be adjusted.
Another advantage of using plastic is that, together with the
An advantage that has not yet been mentioned is also that the crowns of the side walls can be produced without thickening and without steps for receiving grates or frames for them, which results in a very large saving in material.
