Claims (10)

  1. Transportation or shipping frame for glazing panes, especially for automobile glazing panes, comprising a base serving as support, a rear part (2) comprising two corner posts (3, 4) and horizontal bars (5, 6, 7) connecting these corner posts together, and a clamping device comprising a rigid retaining rail (21), acting on the upper edges of the vertically disposed panes, the rear end of the clamping device being provided with a pivot piece (24) which is mounted slidably in height in a hollow profiled member (14, 15) mounted vertically on the rear part, and the front end of the rigid retaining rail being fixed to the base serving as support by a clamping strap (26), characterized in that the pivot piece (24) provided at the rear end of the rigid retaining rail (21) of the clamping device and capable of sliding in the hollow profiled member (14, 15) has such a dimension in the vertical direction and such a configuration that, in the working position of the retaining rail (21), it is blocked automatically by jamming effect in the hollow profiled member (14, 15) under the action of the clamping strap (26).
  2. Transportation or shipping frame according to Claim 1, characterized in that the hollow profiled members (14, 15) receiving the pivot pieces (24) are fixed to the horizontal bars (5, 6) of the rear part and are mounted slidably in the horizontal direction.
  3. Transportation or shipping frame according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the hollow profiles (14, 15) receiving the pivot pieces (24) are mounted at a slope corresponding to the slope of the stacked panes (20).
  4. Transportation or shipping frame according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the hollow profiles (14, 15) receiving the pivot pieces (24) are mounted pivotal about a vertical axis (A-A).
  5. Transportation or shipping frame according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the pivot piece (24) is made of a piece of metal flat.
  6. Transportation or shipping frame according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a retaining angle (33), immobilizing the stack of panes, is mounted on the underside of the retaining rail (21).
  7. Transportation or shipping frame according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the clamping strap (26) is fixed to the base serving as support (1) by means of a tension spring (28).
  8. Transportation or shipping frame according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that pivoting restraining frames (36) are mounted on lateral parts (10, 11) for restraining the panes (20) at the sides.
  9. Transportation or shipping frame according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that lateral parts (10, 11) are fixed by hinges (12) to the posts (3, 4) of the rear part (2) and can be folded over against this rear part (2).
  10. Transportation or shipping frame according to Claim 9, characterized in that the rear part (2) can be folded down onto the base serving as support (1).
