Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Türschließer, dessen Aus­stellarm einenends drehfest mit der Türschließer-Antriebswelle verbunden ist und andernends ein in einer an einem festen Rahmen od. dgl. der Tür angebrachten Gleitschiene zumindest verschieb­bares und vorzugsweise auch feststellbares Gleitelement trägt. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen sogenannten Obentürschließer mit einem Parallelarmgestänge, der an der Tür befestigt ist. Bei die­sem Türschließer wird der Ausstellarm in einer Gleitschiene am festen Rahmen geführt, wobei sein Gleitelement aufgrund der Ver­schwenkung des Ausstellarms beim Öffnen und Schließen der Tür in der Gleitschiene verschoben und gedreht wird. Der Ausstellarm steht dabei unter einer Vorspannung, die ihn vom festen Rahmen wegdrücken will. Diese Vorspannung kommt von einer Feder, welche, wie gesagt, den bei geschlossener Tür etwa parallel zu deren Ebene angeordneten Ausstellarm in Richtung seiner Schrägstellung belastet. Die Tür 1 ist drehbar an einem festen Rahmen 2 gelagert. Sie be­sitzt zu diesem Zwecke wenigstens zwei übereinander angeordnete Drehlager 3, von denen das obere in Fig. 1 zu sehen ist. Die Wirkungsweise des hydraulischen Obentürschließers als solche ist bereits bekannt. Das Drehen der Antriebswelle bewirkt über einen entsprechenden Umsetzungsmechanismus das Verschieben eines Kol­bens im Türschließer, der ein in letzteren eingefülltes Medium von einem vor dem Kolben befindlichen Zylinderraum in einen da­ hinter angeordneten verdrängt.
