The release and fixing of the additional support beams 9 and 10 on the support beams 16 and 17 is effected with the aid of the clamping lever 24.

Claims (1)

  1. Exchangeable automatic support device for pivotable, settable and fixable guide element carrier bodies (7, 8) of guide elements (3a, 3b) for roll stock, especially steel sections, at roll stands, which bodies are connectible with upwardly and downwardly movable carrier spars (16, 17), which are arranged transversely to the rolling direction and respectively above and below the rolling line at the housing standard pairs (1b, 1c) of the roll stand and driven by stroke drives (18, 19), characterised by the combination of the following features:
    a) the carrier spars (16, 17) are guided by their two ends (16b, 17b) by guide grooves in guide rails of the housing standards (1b, 1c) of the roll stand;
    b) the guide element carrier bodies (7, 8) are each arranged on a respective separate auxiliary carrier spar (9, 10);
    c) the carrier spars (16, 17) have a bulge (16a, 17a), which projects in direction towards the rolls between the housing standards (1b, 1c), is open in direction towards the auxiliary carrier spars (9, 10) and borders these at a spacing;
    d) the auxiliary carrier spar (9, 10) is pluggable onto and fixable on the carrier spar (16, 17) in direction towards the roll stand by means of a plug pin and socket connection (21, 20) and withdrawable from this working position in opposite direction, wherein the plug pins (21) are arranged on the auxiliary carrier spar (9, 10);
    e) rhe plug pins (21) have at the side remote from the carrier spar (16, 17) a collar extension (21a), on which the guide element carrier bodies (7, 8), which have corresponding sockets, of the guide elements (3a, 3b) for the roll stock are pluggable;
    f) arranged at the two ends (16b, 17b) of the carrier spar (16, 17) are wedge clamping locks, which are actuable by pressure medium and which act, in the insertion direction of the auxiliary carrier spar (9, 10), on the contact surfaces (9b, 10b) provided at the ends (9a, 10a) of the auxiliary carrier spar (9, 10).
