Abstract

Einem aus Präzisionsschleifen mit nachfolgendem Feinschleifen bestehenden Verfahrens wird eine Schleifphase vorgeschaltet, bei welchem das Schleifband (21) unter vorbetimmten Druck an die Aussenoberfläche (45′) des zu bearbeitenden vorgeheizten Zylinders (45) innerhalb eines mittels einer Justiereinrichtung (30) einstellbaren Spiels X bzw. X′ zwischen einer Kopier­ schablone (10) und einer Kontaktrolle (23) beweglich derart angedrückt wird, dass in dieser vorgeschalteten Schleifphase die Zylinderoberfläche (45′) unabhängig von ihrer Geometrie gleichmässig abgetragen wird. Nach Abschleifen einer aus verschiedenen Partikeln gebildeten Oberflächenschicht des Zylinders (45) werden die Druckverhältnisse auf das Band­ schleifgerät (1) derart verändert, dass in der nun folgenden ersten Schleifphase, dem eigentlichen Präzisionsschleifen eine feste Verbindung zwischen der Kopierschablone (10) und der Kontaktrolle (30) eingestellt wird. Dadurch wird auf eine gleichmässige Wärmeverteilung und damit auch eine gleichmässige Ausdehnung der Zylinderoberfläche (45′), was insbesondere in radialer Richtung von Wichtigkeit ist, sichergestellt wodurch eine genauere Zylindergeometrie erzielt wird.
