Abstract

Destinée essentiellement à la finition des alésages de haute précision à des vitesses très élevées, cette tête d'alésage permet un réglage axial des points de coupe, situés sur la face frontale de la tête. Un corps cylindrique (1) est fixé à une avant-tête (12); celle-ci est munie de logements (13, 14) pour des portes-plaquettes (3, 4) radialement mobiles. Dans le corps cylindrique (1), une douille poussoir (15) et un ressort (17) sont axialement disposés entre la tête d'une vis de réglage (16) et une douille fixe (18) à filetage interne. La douille poussoir (15) et la tête de la vis de réglage (16) sont munies de surfaces coniques (151, 161) qui entrent en contact avec deux pans inclinés (32, 33; 42, 43) de chaque porte-plaquette (3, 4). Si l'on serre la vis de réglage (16) vers la douille fixe (18), par l'intermédiaire d'une tige (19), les porte-plaquettes (3, 4) se déplacent radialement vers l'extérieur, par l'effet des pans inclinés (33, 43). Tournée en sens invere, la vis de réglage (16) provoque, sous la pression du ressort (17), une contraction des portes-plaquettes (3, 4).
