Definitions

  • the invention relates to an espagnolette lock for doors or windows with a housing, one in the housing rotatably mounted about an axis perpendicular to the door or window surface by a pusher or knob rotatable pusher nut, a return spring which biases the pusher nut in a rest position such that it can be rotated in the opposite direction of rotation from the rest position, a drive rod which is used to control locking elements and is guided along a faceplate of the housing and a playful transmission linkage which connects the trigger nut to the drive rod and includes a transmission lever for displacing the drive rod, the rotation of the trigger nut in a first direction of rotation for moving the drive rod into a closed position and the rotation of the follower nut in a second direction of rotation leads to displacement of the drive rod into an open position and the play in the transmission linkage after the entry of the respective drive rod position when the push button or knob is released, the return nut is returned to its rest position by the return spring while leaving the push rod in the respective drive rod position allowed.
  • the use of the transmission lever in the transmission linkage makes it possible for the drive rod to be displaced from the open position into the closed position or vice versa at an angle of rotation of the handle follower in each case, in spite of the play contained in the transmission linkage.
  • a first two-armed transmission lever is first arranged between the follower and the drive rod on the follower side; this acts via a pairing of toothed segments on a second transmission lever and the second transmission lever finally acts on the drive rod while changing the direction of the transmission path.
  • the structure of the transmission linkage is therefore relatively complicated and expensive to manufacture.
  • the follower acts via a coupling with play on a push rod which is guided approximately vertically near the faceplate. These The push rod then acts on a one-armed transmission lever which is articulated in the vicinity of the housing edge opposite the drive rod and engages with the drive rod end in the drive rod.
  • This embodiment is also complicated to manufacture and high in manufacturing costs.
  • the invention has for its object to build a drive rod lock of the type mentioned while maintaining the possibility of a drive rod displacement at a relatively small angle of rotation of the follower nut in a simplified manner, so that the manufacture is simplified and the costs are reduced.
  • the transmission linkage comprises a control element which is guided in the vicinity of a limiting edge of the housing opposite the faceplate parallel to the drive rod, that this control element is coupled to the trigger nut essentially without play, that the return spring on the Control element engages and that the transmission lever is designed as a two-armed transmission lever which is mounted on the housing at a central point between the drive rod and the control element, has a first shorter lever arm in play-related engagement with the control element and a longer lever arm in engagement with the drive rod.
  • the construction according to the invention is particularly applicable to those door locks in which the drive rod is moved exclusively by the follower, ie not by the lock cylinder, which can nevertheless be provided in order to lock the drive rod in its closed position.
  • the trigger follower can also act on a latch which is biased towards a closed position by a latch spring.
  • the drive rod can have several locking elements distributed over its length in order to be able to determine the window and in particular a door over their entire height in the associated frame part.
  • a conventional bolt can be provided, which is displaceably guided perpendicular to the faceplate in the housing and is movably connected to the drive rod between a closed position corresponding to the closed position of the drive rod and a closed position corresponding to the open position of the drive rod.
  • a transmission gearbox with lost gear is provided between the drive rod and the bolt, such that when the Drive rod in the direction of its closed position the bolt driven by the drive rod reaches its pre-closed position before the drive rod reaches its closed position and that bolt securing elements are attached to the drive rod and the bolt, which after the bolt has entered its pre-closed position during the remaining movement of the bolt which then still takes place Engage the drive rod towards its locking position and prevent the bolt from returning to its closed position.
  • the espagnolette lock can be locked in a conventional manner by a lock cylinder, for example in such a way that the lock cylinder acts with a lock bit on an additional bolt which can be moved transversely to the longitudinal direction of the drive rod between a drive rod release position and a drive rod lock position and in the drive rod lock position a drive rod lock member fastened to the drive rod spreads.
  • the lock bit of the locking cylinder also acts in a phase-shifted manner to act on the additional bolt on a spring-loaded tumbler for the additional bolt, which at least locks the additional bolt against movement in the key withdrawal position of the locking cylinder when the Additional bolt assumes the espagnolette locking position.
  • a particularly compact design for the assembly consisting of the control element and the return spring is obtained in that the control element is guided with corresponding slots on two pins of the housing and in that the return spring is formed by a helical compression spring which, in one of the rest positions of the follower, corresponds to the rest position of the control with both ends on a pin and a stop of the control.
  • the coupling between the trigger nut and the control element can be produced in such a way that the control element has a driver pin which engages in a radially elongated edge recess in the trigger nut.
  • the handle follower be rotated about 45 ° from the rest position to bring about the closed position or open position of the drive rod is.
  • the consumer finds the following situation: To open the door, all he has to do is push the handle down in the conventional way by 45 °.
  • the espagnolette lock opens when the espagnolette has been in the locked position. If, on the other hand, the door is to be closed, the handle only needs to be pivoted upwards by 45 °, so that the drive rod changes into its closed position.
  • the Handle follower must be arranged in such a way that in the rest position the handle assumes the usual horizontal position for doors.
  • a lock housing 3 is attached to a faceplate 1.
  • This lock housing 3 consists of a base plate 3a and narrow side walls 3b, 3c, 3d and a lock cover, not shown.
  • a drive rod 10 is guided, which usually extends over the entire height of the window or door on the side remote from the vertical pivot axis.
  • Closure elements are attached to the drive rod 10, as are shown, for example, in FIGS. 4 to 8 to be explained later. These locking elements are provided for engagement with corresponding counter-locking elements on the door or window frame.
  • the espagnolette lock has a conventional latch 52, which is automatically pushed back against the force of a spring 53 when the door is slammed, and for opening the door by a follower 12 from the bottom of a cam 55, the follower 12 of a driving plate 57 and a latch tail 59 can be withdrawn.
  • the connecting rod lock has a bolt 54 which penetrates the faceplate 1 and is locked into the position according to FIG. 2 when the connecting rod 10 is moved into its closed position, ie downwards.
  • a lock cylinder 74 with a lock bit 76 and a key insertion slot 74a serves to lock the drive rod 10 in its lower closed position and, via the drive rod 10, also to lock the bolt 54 in its pre-closed position according to FIG. 2.
  • a displacement of the drive rod 10 by means of the locking cylinder 74 is not possible in this embodiment.
  • the drive rod 10 is thus moved with the fastener elements attached to it exclusively by the outer and / or inner door handle (not shown) coupled to the follower 12 (not shown) from the open position to the closed position and vice versa.
  • the follower nut 12 has an edge recess 14 into which the driver pin 18, which is fastened to a control element 16 which can be displaced parallel to the drive rod movement, engages.
  • a control element 16 which can be displaced parallel to the drive rod movement, engages.
  • the control element 16 preferably consists of a carrier plate 28 which is displaceably guided on the lock base 3a and a spring receiving frame 30 fixedly arranged on the carrier plate 28.
  • the carrier plate 28 and the spring receiving frame 30 can also be produced in one piece using the casting process.
  • two pins 32, 32 ' are arranged at a distance from one another between the lock base 3a and the lock cover (not shown).
  • the carrier plate 28 has two in a row lying longitudinal slots 34, 34 ', which extend substantially in the longitudinal center plane of the support plate 28 and the average distance from each other corresponds to the distance between the pins 32, 32'.
  • the spring receiving frame 30 is provided on the narrow side areas with a link guide 36, 36 ', in which the pins 32, 32' engage in the horizontal zero position of the handle.
  • the remaining narrow side surfaces together with the inner longitudinal frame surfaces form the spring receiving frame 30, the frame height, viewed perpendicularly to the plane of the drawing, essentially corresponding to the outer diameter of the helical compression spring 38.
  • the length of the slots 34, 34 ' is composed of the sine of the circular arc lying between the rotational angle end positions of the driving pin 18 and the diameter of the pin 32 or 32', with a small idle stroke should also be taken into account, so that between the respective end position of the Nut 12 and the simultaneous end position of the control element 16 no constraints arise.
  • the helical compression spring 38 rests with each of its ends both on the respective pin 32, 32 'and on stop surfaces 28a, 28b of the carrier plate or the spring mounting frame 30, so that when the carrier plate 28 is moved downward the helical compression spring 38 on the lower pin 32 'remains in support and is compressed by the stop 28a while lifting off the upper pin 32 and vice versa.
  • an edge recess 40 is provided for the engagement of the short lever arm of a transmission lever 42, which is pivotably mounted on a bolt 44 fixed to the housing.
  • One end 46 of the translation lever of this short Lever arm is approximately circular, while the other arm 48 forms a fork which surrounds a pin 50 fixed to the connecting rod.
  • an angle lever 58 is pivotally mounted on a bolt 56 fixed to the housing and engages over the bolt tail 60. With a fork-like arm 62, it comprises a locking pin 64 of the locking tail 60.
  • the other arm 66 of the angle lever 58 interacts with a control profile of the drive rod 10.
  • This control profile comprises a profile recess 68 and cams 72, 72 'with facing profile surfaces 70, 70'.
  • a drive rod locking bolt 92 can retract behind a locking shoulder 94 of the locking bolt 54 during the remaining downward movement of the locking rod 10, so that pushing back the locking bolt 54 in the locked position of the locking bolt 54 is suppressed by the bolt 92 which is then in its lowest position.
  • the espagnolette 10 and also the bolt 54 can be secured by actuating the locking cylinder 74.
  • a tumbler 78 is first raised against the action of a helical compression spring 80, and a bolt 84 of an additional bolt 88 caught in a tumbler niche 82 of the tumbler 78 is released, so that when the locking bar 76 is rotated further, it becomes one Recess 86 of the additional bolt 88 engaging can then move the additional bolt towards the left.
  • the additional latch 88 which is closed to the left in this way, then engages with a finger 90 the pin 92 which is fixed to the connecting rod, as a result of which the connecting rod 10 is blocked against unauthorized displacement from the closed position upwards into the open position.
  • FIG. 2 also shows how the pin 92, which is fixed to the connecting rod, has moved behind the locking shoulder 94 in order to prevent the locking bolt 54 from being pushed back unauthorized.
  • the bolt 84 of the additional bolt 88 is held by the preloaded tumbler 78 by a further tumbler niche 82 ', so that the additional bolt 88 again assumes a secure position.
  • the additional bolt 88 can only be actuated by the lock bit 76 if the drive rod 10 and the bolt 54 have been brought into the closed positions beforehand, since an angled tumbler 96 lying under the bolt tail 60 of the tumbler 78 on the bolt tail 60 prevents the tumbler 78 from being raised by the lock bit 76 as long as the bolt 54 is closed. It should also be mentioned that the tumbler 78 and also the additional bolt 88 are guided displaceably via pin slot guides 97.
  • the drive rod lock is shown with the drive rod 10 in the open position.
  • the handle When the handle is actuated clockwise, only the latch 52 (FIG. 3) is withdrawn and the door can be opened.
  • the control element 16 is moved downward against the action of the helical compression spring 38 without a torque being exerted on the transmission lever 42, since a play (idle stroke) is provided between the circular lever end 46 and the edge recess 40. If the handle is released again, the prestressed control element 16 moves up again and swivels the handle back into the horizontal position.
  • FIG. 1a one can see a locking spring 25 fastened to the lock base 3a, which is clamped on one side on the lock base 3a and which engages between the drive rod projection 27 and the transmission lever 42.
  • This detent spring 25 is in the upper, d. H. the open position of the drive rod 10 with a bulge 29 on the circumference of the pin 50 of the mortise slot connection 48, 50, so that the drive rod 10 is secured in its upper or open position against unintentional displacement towards the lower or closed position.
  • This detent spring 25 can be replaced by any other snap device.
  • this detent spring 25 or other snap devices is necessary because otherwise the drive rod 10 could inadvertently move downwards from the state according to FIG. 1, for example when a door is moved rapidly in the direction of the closed position or during transport of the not yet installed lock .
  • an additional lock 104 is shown for a Mehrfachver locking, which is equipped with a hook-shaped swivel bolt 106.
  • the drive rod 10 is guided in the area of the additional lock 104 with its narrow side on the faceplate 1 and bent in such a way that it lies directly against the cover plate.
  • a toothed rack 108 is fastened (riveted) within the additional lock and engages with a toothed segment 110 formed on the swivel bolt 106.
  • the extended swivel latch 106 engages in a striking plate 112 on the frame side in a known manner.
  • the hook-shaped swivel bolts 106 are arranged in opposite directions compared to the arrangement according to FIG. 5, a conventional reversing gear being required.
  • the additional bolts are designed as known, pivotable reed tongues 114 and in FIG. 8 as locking blocks 116.
