Description

The invention relates to a tongue and groove connection of wall or roof elements, each consisting of two metallic cover layers spaced apart by a foam core, with horizontally or vertically extending connecting sides, with a fastening clip lying in the connecting joint between two elements with one on the later inside of the elements lying, screwable leg.

From DE-A-2449917 a connection with a hidden fastening screw is known. This has the disadvantage that the screw is very long and, if the screw is tightened too much, the foam core is pressed in permanently. According to DE-A-2837195, the screw is kept shorter. Here, too, permanent deformations can occur on the foam core. In addition, this construction disturbs that only gradual transitions on the outer wall are possible in the area of the connecting joint.

The invention has for its object to provide a connection of wall or roof elements, which can be used with horizontal and vertical sealing joints and by its construction on the outside, the rainwater leads away from the joint and the fastenings that accommodate high forces serves, the screws can be screwed on from the outside and the fastenings and the screws are not visible from the outside and can be attached protected against the weather, whereby the connection in the area of the joint should also have a smooth transition without jumps from element to element.

This object is achieved by the features described in the characterizing part of claim 1. Further developments of the invention are described in the dependent claims 2 to 6.

In Fig. 1 the connection is explained in more detail. The two elements 10 and 11 are connected to one another. Both elements are only half drawn. The element 10 on the left side, not shown, has the same configuration as the element 11 on the left side and the element 11 on the right side has the same configuration as the element 10 on the right side. The metallic cover layer 12 of the element 11 forms the tongue 13 on the later outside. Below this is the groove 14. A further tongue 15 is located on the inside of the element 11. The indentation 16 is located on the inside of the element 11 Element 10 also has two tongues 17 and 18, a groove 19 and an indentation 20.

The connection is held positively by 2 springs in 2 grooves. For reasons of strength and sealing, such a double tongue and groove connection is advantageous over a simple tongue and groove connection. The fastening clip 21 shown in FIG. 2 encloses both springs 17 and 18 on the element 10 and encloses on the element 11 the spring 15 and the central part 22 of the element 11 acting as a spring. The incline 23, which runs from top left to bottom right on the middle part 22 acts like one side of a spring, the second side of the same spring would be side 24. The bevel 23 has practically the effect of a spring without it having to be as exact as a spring in terms of dimensions. Inaccuracies compensate for each other in the seal. The seals adjoining on both sides of the bevel 23 ensure a particularly good seal. It is advantageous that the fastening clip 21 form-fittingly encloses the metallic cover layers on the outside and on the inside of each element. One fastening clip is even sufficient for both elements 10 and 11.

In both elements, the two metallic cover layers are each covered by the same fastening clip 21. This creates a high degree of strength. The spring 18 is kept shorter in length than the indentation 16. In the resulting gap there is space for the screwable leg 25 of the fastening clip 21 and the screw 26.

A particular advantage arises when laying with a horizontally lying connecting joint of the elements 10 and 11. The element 10 is then first placed upright with its left side on the ground or the foundation, so that the springs 17 and 18 protrude vertically upwards. The element 10 is then fastened to a carrier 27 by the fastening clip 21 and the screw 26. Then the element 11 from above z. B. placed with a crane on the element 10 so that the tongue and groove connections are closed.

The invention is also applicable if the middle part 22 and in particular the bevel 23 are designed differently.
